    Raleighs better overall. But im biased as im from raleigh but live in durham now. Durham has great folks living here its just slower imo. Also, Durham downtown isnt really livable. There is no grocery store or gym options in walking distance. Also outside of the bull stadium there isnt much going on outside of restaurants..but hey its growing rapidly and i think it will be a better place within 5 years.

    North Carolina is too expensive to live in, period and it’s decaying rapidly. Durham is also decaying finally as wages are not livable and non-home owners cannot keep up. Gentrification is getting out of hand. The poor always get pushed out but then wealthy people bitch they do not have cheap labor. You cannot have it both ways and now you will have nothing. Middle class is on thier own to keep up with rising taxes but no benefits.
