- Volkswagen made its way onto California’s Huntington Beach this week to show off the North American version of its much-anticipated ID. Buzz electric microbus. It’ll be bigger than its Europe-bound brethren, with an additional row of seating, more horsepower, and some other unique, colorful options.

Yeah there is no Euro version vs bigger US version. Simply a long wheel base model (3 row seating) and short wheel base (2 seating rows). BOTH are available in Europe including the more powerful models, while only the long wheel base model is available in the US. This video somehow made something simple sound complex.
I wanted to say this too. Europe gets all variants including the GTX next year. I’m sure the guy knows this, he’s just trying to get his American viewers excited 😂
well then there wouldn't have been any motive to advertise for VW, which I don't mind watching btw, never knew VW made those mini buses
This looks really interesting.
Really hoping they make a california version of this like they did with the T6 van.... but they bring it to the US this time!
Looks like a fun car. Wouldve great for me back in my highschool/college years
What's the range?
Thanks BUT you did not say WHY the American version is bigger, you only explain what is bigger. Would like to change the video title so others dont get misled?
Of course they wouldn't like to change it. It's clickbait and we fell for it. 🫠
It's actually longer because it has 3 rows of seats.
I think this is something that does not even need to be explained 💀
They have more stuff. Parents and kids in rows 1 and 2. Stuff, friends or grandma in row 3. Are we there yet?
2:40 looks like they put rear ventilation and sliding rear window in this one
Hope the range is good
I'm curious to see if people actually buy this. While I wouldn't want one, it would be cool to see them on the road!
We are purchasing one.
Customers are lining up - for now production is too limited
Quite a few European variants on the road here in England.
Yes! Can't wait for the adventure version!
Wish it weren’t bigger. Major bummer
Well there's a clickbaity title if ever I saw one. We have both the SWB and LWB in Europe 😉
No.
@@witness1013We get all variants in Europe.
@@LCOF Nope. Sorry. Can you buy one ? No. So you haven't gotten it yet.
It's February 2024 and the 7 seater it's not available yet in Europe
If I like vans I would totally go for this!
doesn't "hard pressed to find" mean that it's unlikely to be there?
😍
I wonder who would ever trust this company again
GG
Take the 1960s split any day.
thank god! i bet in jealousy honda with its nail polishesd claws will have slashed own bestie "odyssey's" face over its upcoming planned dishonest/halfhearted tiny battery introduction for just start/stop case hybridity not realising this approach fails miserably in daily morning/evening traffic congestions.. i hate VW but atleast a deterrent against dishonest pockets ripping.. i guess the top competition will now shift between sienna, pacifica n this buzz pushing odyssey to 4th from 2nd.. Sienna now just has to bit further reduce front bonet length and bit widen the chassis!
Obviously because Americans enjoy a good time.
Make them ugly so I know it's electric.
sale in 2024 - See. when Apple comes out with their CAR. all these manufactures are going to be left behind in the dust. The Day that Apple makes an announcement like this, you will be able to pre order the stuff within days.
this is ridiculous, 2024 on sale? 6 months from now? deliveries when,? 2030?
Tesla does not have to make these stupid announcement. you guys kill the mood to buy a car.
Agreed re Apple. They will do it all right, from charging speed to ease of availablity of chargers, that won't require human intervention. No more cable faff.
