Rick, when you were talking about the Solar weapons during the Pulse Rifle bit you completely forgot to mention the Vision of Confluence. That is the absolute best always. The Smite is a distant second or third.

Had a feeling something was wrong with the Anguish of Drystan. That wall test at 12:10 totally proves it. Glad I am only doing this raid for the ornaments.
Dave Ferguson Meanwhile, Armor pieces across all raids just do not drop. It seems like for every 8 or 9 weapons I get, I get 1 armor piece.
The only weapon which is more fitting as a wall decoration than in a fight.

For gunslinger hunters, these guns are amazing with 3x reload speed and stability.

KackisHD that's pretty unfair by saying that everyone hates the anguish which is NOT true. People just freak out the first time they use because of the stability. I guess no one has the patient to even give it a chance
But why would you give it a chance? ok, you get use to the bad stability, but why?
It has terrible range, it does the same damage/rof as every other high-impact auto rifle, it has a poor magazine size, and poor reload.
You get absolutely zero benefits for dealing with that stability.
KackisHD wow just had to explain his to 5 other people. I'm just saying that it's completely opinionated and it's unfair to assume that everyone has the same opinion as you. You can't just officially classify weapons to be bad because that's what you think. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to defend the stability, it's not great, I know that. You just need to realize that a lot of people don't like it but there are some that do. A mistake that I find on a lot of CZcams channels. I just encourage you to be aware of what you say. :)
KackisHD Some people just like it and can control the recoil. I can control recoil because I used Atheons all of year one, but some people can't which I understand unlike some other people. If me and others just like it because of its visual ascetics and your being extremely harsh then..... Ouch. I don't know what to say.

the sight of drystan is off from where the rounds actually land on a target. many dont know of or may have not noticed this. I also think that this too is a hidden glitch.

The first time i ever do this raid, that was yesterday, I kill the warpriest and i get the auto rifle....
he didn't mention nechrocasm as an arc damage primary weapon.

I agree that most of the weapons in this raid are trash but the Smite of Merain, and Qullims terminus are definitely up there in my eyes. If you were lucky enough to get the SoM with firefly then you know exactly what I mean. It was hands down my favorite weapon to use for quite a while especially in the Kings Fall raid. The QT's balance was great as well. Easy to keep on target. I still use both weapons on occasion. And the Touch of Malice was fun for a while until it became apparent that the hardcore raiders like myself playing the raid wouldn't pick up any ransoms unless they had it. It was pretty much a requirement for a while. Not by me, but we all remember. It took me back to the Gjallahorn craze with Atheon and Crota. Anyways, great video. I will tune in again. Thanks for taking the time to get this information out there. I'm hoping to get a few of these gems tomorrow night. Keep up the good work!
These are my favorite looking adept weapons in the game. These look exotic, and still feel exotic due to cocoon.

Rick, I really liked this video. Its just innocently funny. The rant on the Drystan Adept, the unplanned belch at ironically the perfect time. Just a hoot. I watched more than once.
Way back in TTK, I had to get used to the anguish because it was my highest light primary and at the beginning of TTK I would keep forgetting that infusion existed. However, I think that if you take the time to get to know this weapon, it is the bucking bull of auto rifles. This is proved by the fact I used to get consistent 5-10 kill streaks with the anguish when I used it in pvp.

The auto rifle should be used like an SMG, it's got crowd control, should be used very close. It's pretty much an SMG and it's sad to see how he didn't see that potential
And yeah ik SMGs didn't exist then but come on crowd control kinda points out how to use it
To me, Touch of Malice is OP for my style of picking off more annoying targets from a range before engaging when I swap to say my Sidearm, or change my primary to an auto rifle

that auto rifle is actually pretty good once you can handle its accuracy, I still wouldn't use it over the fang or necrochasm though

All I used for months was my Smite with firefly (till I got explosive round/firefly Cryptic Dragon) so I was ecstatic to see it comes with firefly.
The anguish of drystian actually looked pretty good. I dont have it so i may be wrong but it has pretty good perk and if you have thumbs then recoil shouldent be that big of a deal
On ishtar commander it showed the anguish with 63 shots in the magazine, and when I went to the post master it was a huge let down. I still like that gun for some reason.
Although I've never used any of the raid weapons (and probably never will due to no fireteam), I think kings fall weapons weren't exactly supposed to be the best of the best, bungie must have been trying something different. Like, they're a challenge to use, but they've got darn good perks.
TIP: for best way to use touch of mallace in PVP use hunter with smoke boms that stick to surfaces that waits for people to walk over them and for safety of touch use iron banner atifact memory of gheleon for 3rd eye perk on the gun. if used correctly you can get "we ran out of medals" with this gun since you dont have to worry about reloading and smoke bombs add damage PLUS being a hunter means you can teather any supers that come at you. good luck nad have fun wiht one of my favorite guns ;)

lol I use the anguish of drystan in PvP and it will wreck people. It's more useful in smaller maps like burning shrine where more close encounters occur.
I've always wanted to like the KF weapons because it was the first raid i completed (joined during TTK) but they definitely are the worst when it comes to the 4 raids.
that last auto rifle reminds me of the husk of the pit because of its fast rate of fire and low damage and stability
I've always liked the Word of Crota hand cannon. I never liked it more than Fatebringer but it was always a go to and probably still will be for me when void burn is around. I don't know why it hates so much hate. It's a good hand cannon.
Hey, Anguish of Drystan is really good. Just control its recoil and it'll melt. The only bad thing about it is its range.

Honestly, if all of the king's fall raid weapon except touch of malice wasn't exotic and legendary instead, those weapons actually wouldn't be bad at all.
Although the stat for smite of the marine said it had low stibility it was still some of the best iv ever seen in a puls rifle he didn't miss a shot from long range as well .

The hunter makes the smite a god gun with chain of woe and gunslingers trance. It fixes both of the guns weaknesses. 👍

I was using the auto rifle in iron banner and it was working pretty good
I like how they make one of the hardest raids updated to have exotics but they are complete shit very rewarding.....
I actually enjoy the Anguish of Drystan. It's a challenge to use and actually kind of fun to try to use in PvP.
Zaoulis bane is great with transversive steps as they can automatically reload it.

Its honestly sad how bad the anguish of drystan (idk if I spelled that right) is. I wish they fixed the stability to how the stats show it as being and then I feel like it wouldn't be a bad gun to use.
The only reason they take so long to reload is to balance the cocoon Perk. If they had lightening fast reloads cocoon would be pointless :-P
Necrochasm is also an amazing option besides the Anguish
I do like the Anguish of Drystan but only because it was my only Kings Fall Primary from the Year 2 Version. It's a bad weapon I can understand but I will still use it if necessary

if it has taken enemies and/or a lot of trash mobs, Smite is way better. Crucible would depend on the map if you can control the recoil. anything else, VoC all day
I like my smite of merain adept because I struggle with killing wizards, and smite of merain shreds through them

Been using the anguish of drystan this week (alon with the other raid exotics) and i kno everyone keeps saying how crap the anguish is but its been feeling really good for me in both pve and pvp and stability is a little low but you inly really notice it at ranges autorifles should be almost useless at anyway

The Anguish of Drystan (Adept) was the only weapon that I got from that raid. I didnt finish the raid but Man this weapon I can not use it. I believe he is right when he said that the weapon is trash... SMH
you know I could work with a drystan, because I tend to work with auto rifles with low stability since I tend to not be able to get upgrades

I don't disagree with anguish of dristan at the worst raid gun, but I use it regularly because it's different, but no way will I take this thing in a raid or nightfall
My problem with the Anguish is that the sights are off.
The damn thing fires at least an inch below its red dot.

Zock Clips I am aware of that, but the bullets (on a hit scan weapon in a game with no bullet drop) should land where the dot is, is what i meant.
