Bob whites are also more prone to higher stress, resulting in death.

You are supposed to cut the tails and flight feathers and the crest on the Jacobins when they are breeding so that the eggs are full don't do it all the eggs will be clear and you will be wasting your time
Bobwhites and coturnix don't mix well. I would separate them.

I think Bobwhite Quails should be kept separate from Coturnix Quails. I’ve seen many cases go wrong from from mixing the two.
