Let your money have babies :) I share my experiences with it through real estate investing on my CZcams channel!
Lol imagine being the tenant graham shares a duplex with watching his videos and hearing you are paying his mortgage for him in every video 😂
Graham was the landlord who didn't raise their rent when he bought the unit. I would happily pay an ethical landlord 😁
Well people pay his mortgage because they aren’t able to come up with a 20% down payment

@@GrahamStephan I do You Tube videos as The Guy From Pittsburgh and really want to do a parody of the 2 clowns in Pittsburgh who talk about how they have NO SICK MANSION or SICK CAR & charge a fortune for their Amazon FBA course.
And no matter how much I could save with my low income NO ONE is going to let a guy like me buy a house or a 4 plex so I could make money.
I have many regrets in life. But subbing to This channel is not one of them.
When I was younger I always listened to my elders because that’s what I was told and to be respectful, but you’re right most people usually give bad advice. now I listen to those that achieve better than me especially when they are younger than me. Great video 👍🏻
In the words of Grant Cardone and many others, if you want to achieve $1,000,000 then learn from someone who has 10X that amount!
You are correct, I moved jobs 5 times since I graduated from college and i make 3x more than anyone in my graduating class. Not bragging or anything, but it's true lol.
@@huey1153 I am sort of the same way. It's crazy that some companies won''t pay to keep talent individuals, but then have to pay new employees what they could have given you who doesn't need a single shred of training. I dont get it.
Not necessarily. I've moved from a $4000/month job, down to $3000/month and now in my latest job, I've reduced my hours and my hourly pay. I'm making $2000/month. You may ask why I took lower pay & lower hours? It's bc the daily grind & high-stress 9 to 5 has depleted me to where I value my sanity over money. But now that I'm living paycheck to paycheck, I'm worried that "future me" is going to regret that "current me" couldn't suck it up to work myself like mad to eventually earn freedom. Idk how you guys can consistently do that. I'm burnt out to a crisp. I'm sick of the enslavement, I can barely even get through my current 6 hours. But idk of any other job that is flexible and as laid-back as my current job. All other prospects are worse than the one I'm in. The point is that my spirit is broken and "downsizing" my job has only gotten me by for so long. Eventually my enthusiasm for this job has also reduced to basic tolerance. It's not just boredom, it's that I lack a fulfilling purpose here. But even the thought of going back to a crazy 9 to 5 job that pays me lots of $$$ automatically puts my body in pain. I want sanity, fulfillment, and flexibility, but often you can't have all 3, at least not without taking major risks. I just have to get out of the fear trap and make moves. Easier said than done, but that's why I'm here.
Bro the fact you posted people’s comments on the video had me dying😭😂! Good video love your stuff!
You should make a video dedicated to tax write off and how to keep more of your money . Btw great video thank you
I plan to!! I was actually going to post it the other week but figured I'd postpone it a bit, planning to post it soon!
@@GrahamStephan Please take as much time as you need because taxes are scary and confusing. I can't wait to see you break it down in bite sized pieces for us!

How To Build Wealth With No Money:
1. You need to make money
@@HearMeLearn ya but it was very funny to hear :P Love it. I mean I agree, you need to push for an initial amount of money and do hard work before you can start using that money t make more. I make $20 an hour driving for uber, while saving as much as I can. I have saved up about 50k in one year, and now Im going to use that money to make more money. Btw I made about 95k for the whole year, and yes, i did do 90 hour weeks on avg.
VVhatIf _ damn, I’m making like 9 an hour at Pizza Hut but I’m driving some days now and those days I make like 12-15 an hour
Me: scrolls past this video

Me: yea I should probably watch that
How do you even calculate the ROI on a 14 minute video that changes your entire life?
I’m 18. I’m so glad I found this channel. My life is completely gonna change beacause of the knowlege you share.
My parents don’t even know all this stuff, there was no way i was ever going to know about it!
That’s why they say that the poor stay poor and the rich stay rich. It’s all about knowledge and what you pass down generation to generation.
Years ago this was more evident. But now thanks to CZcams and YOU now I can start to redifine my family line and start to begin a line of wealth and knowledge that I will be able to pass down to my kids in the future
Knowledge is power!
God bless you man! 🙏🙌
Be careful who you listen to. But no need to be careful when it’s Graham. He is LEGIT 🤓
Cherry Tung - Luxury Fashion & Money Hacks so if graham told you to hang yourself you wouldn’t question it?
Graham, I love the way you communicate. Down to earth, Common Sense, understandable knowledge for any level of education.
Most of your friends you grew up with are satisfied working 9 to 5 and retiring at 65, 67 or never. Don't follow the crowd. Be the exception. 😉
never even thought of buying a car that doesn't depreciate. Great advice Graham. thankyou!
It's all good for you because you have the right personality to be a salesman, whereas majority of people don't, I couldn't even get a job as one.
There’s also the saying “Don’t work hard.... work smart”
I make about $150K a year in my career, and only work about seven months a year. Many in this same industry work a typical five days a week and earn much less than I do.
Whatever you do for income, find a niche within it and go for it. Don’t follow the herd.
My dude you're literally a heart after my own soul I grew up very similar with a mirrored mindset and you are literally helping me change my mind set and I hit that like everytime
This was great. I'm so jaded by "personal wealth influencers" that I was taken aback by your video because it was so level headed 😂
hope you make it as an influencer big time!
For real! I love Graham! I try to live up to his videos by helping people achieve financial freedom through my videos!
i love that you don’t protect people by blocking out their names. reinforces to be careful about what you say because you think someone won’t see it
I can't begin to describe how much I have enjoyed this channel. There are none of the, "Here's how you do it...I alone can create wealth for you!" the advice is practical. It feels transparent. Graham, you've got a loyal follower-keep it up!
6:50 Graham, could you please make a video about taxes and tax management?
contemplating saying something rude just so I can be featured in a Graham Stephen video....
...I don't like your lightbulb
One of the best "Value-add" channels I've seen. Thank you for all of the information that you are willing to offer!
The key reason for your success is that you had the determination to keep working until you reached your goals. Most people don't have it !!!
Waiting a day or so to buy something is really good advice. I talk myself out of stupid buys all the time with that method.
People fail to understand that they need to have incoming cash flow before building your wealth and your future! Lets get it everyone! 🚀
You are like that cool teacher in school that everyone wanted to be in their class. You actually enjoy what you are taking about and it makes your video's enjoyable for others.
i really appreciate you recognizing the need for financial literacy and im really glad to came across a few of your videos, thank u!
The "invest $10 a day" strategy would be great for those who have A STEADY INCOME of over $1000/month and decades to wait (ie. those in their early 20s) but those who are much older don't have 3 or 4 decades or that kind of time.
And people only making a part-time income that can't work full time at the moment. I'm a work-at-home mom because if I worked full-time almost all of my yearly salary would go to daycare costs. What a waste of money. If I end up having $100 at the end of the month that doesn't have to go to any bills, I could invest that but it would mean only being able to save about $3 a day. I might need that $100 in case an emergency shows up so I let it sit in my bank account.
What resources would you recommend for getting the hang of the fundamentals of Economics, Business, Real Estate, taxes, general investing ect? What do you think about investing in foreign/developing markets?
When I was younger I had a couple sales jobs that drastically lowered my quality of life (it ramped up my anxiety and depression and I had no faith in humanity), so I'm going to try to just aim for a larger salary when I get a new job soon. I would like to be making 55-65k a year, but I am currently making 35k. I am also going to start an etsy shop and see if I can make the overhead as little as possible. Thanks for the inspo!
Get a commercial driving license. Bus drivers make good money. MTA is always hiring drivers. You will make 75k and up with some overtime.
"You are really stupid" and "Wrong... you are an idiot" are by far the best comments. Very helpful. Good intentions. The internet at its finest
liked at "honda s2000" - just bought a battery disconnect cuz it has over 183k miles & i almost never drive it... such a fun, dope car that i will keep forever!
Just saw your video on jubilee. Honesty i learnt more in what wasn't said then what was.
The 3 poor people will never be rich not because its not possible but because all they see is a sea of locked doors, where as a guy like you saw the same doors, but says to yourself all you need to do is find that one door that one door.
Now You have found a ton of unlocked doors at this point. You have walk thru so many that on your travels you found a set of keys and if a door isn't open you have the tools to unlock it yourself.
Im in between both groups. After years being in the group that didnt look, i spent the last year looking and i finally found my first unlocked door.
While you're miles ahead of me you did something great, you left a trail of post-it notes on my path to the 2nd door.
I still have to do the work, but now im not blindly looking and now i know if i follow your path i can find my own key.
Im different now because now i believe its just a matter of time before stumble onto my key and when i do you be there waiting with happy hour drinks
Grant, I appreciate you dude and your Info. You have been Incredibly helpful.
A good CPA is so under rated and never discussed on “other” channels. Thanks Graham!

I'm a little late to the game here but could you make a video on how to develop a sales mentality/personality as an introvert? I haven't looked through all of your videos yet so you may already have one but if not that would be awesome. Thanks for making these videos!
Audra Cassell hey have you found a video that talks about that? Just any video, not necessarily a Graham vid
The best way to get in this is to put yourself in situations that forces you to be social. Go out place and just start making random comments to people and engage in small talk convos to help build your social skills and reduce approach anxiety. Another good thing to do would be to get used to rejection as quickly as possible so put yourself in situations to be rejected and learn how to deal with it.
In terms of your mindset find someone who you like their mentality and etc and start to emulate them. Stop thinking in negatives and start to think in positives or neutrals if you can’t feel positive. As you gain more experience and confidence you’ll notice you become better and won’t have to think abt it and it will tie into all areas of your life.
Pro tip: don’t refer to yourself as an introvert anymore when you put a label on yourself you become it. You aren’t an introvert because you have the ability to change everything abt you isn’t set in stone it’s fluid. Therefore think I am feeling introverted right now, or I am acting like one right now, and then your next thought would be but I can be extroverted. Even if you aren’t acting like it right now you can learn it.
Hopefully this helps!
you're so easy to understand. I wish I had you to explain everything I need to know
Stumbled upon your channel just the other day after searching tips on managing property (trying to help my mom manage her father's farmland). And now I can't stop watching all your videos!
So much sound advice I didn't know I needed and wasn't getting from anyone else in my life.
So, thank you! I'll be avidly watching your videos from now on 🙂
You’re such an inspiration to young people like us Graham.
So true. Started watching Graham, got into real estate investing (two properties so far that cash flow $1100/mo!), created a CZcams channel talking about my experiences and knowledge.. all because of Graham!
Man I want to thank you because you inspired me to follow my real estate agent path I see studied a year ago for the license but was thinking that maybe I'm not for this and you know all types of negative thoughts your family tells you. But watching your videos motivated me to get on the road again ty !
I live in Kenya right now and this is actually really helpful which rarely happens with applying financial advice in a country where the average salary is low and cost of living high.
connect with someone successful in the business you are interested in. schedule a meet and greet and talk to them about how they got in their business. Learn their skills, goals, and interests. definitely figure out their process. use that information and follow up with that person at regular intervals. Meet new people and repeat.
Thanks for the awesome advice Graham, I'm a little late to the game myself. But it's never too late to start hustling and applying all this information now. Cheers!
I absolutely love the way you surreptitiously ask people to hit the subscribe and like but, it's such a treat in every video!!! Winky face!!
You always say to start a youtube channel but I bet you've never been demonetized.
Love the humbleness to begin the journey! Many are obsessed with looking rich than actually becoming rich! Bravo 👏
Thank you for all the info you provide it doesn't go to waste.

Or you can use a simpler method:
1.) Go restaurant dumpster diving for avocado seeds
2.) Dig up some dirt from your neighbor's yard and put it in a few pots
3.) Plant those avocado seeds
4.) Water the plants and give them love
5.) Soon you will have an avocado plantation.
6.) Sell the avocados on some fresh toast
7.) BAM! You are now wealthier than Jeff Bezos 😎💸
Graham, this is one of the best videos Ive seen on finance Education. Its clear and actionable. Thanks
Graham, this is hands down the best video you have ever done! Well done, anyone that listens to this will have a huge leg up in life.
you should also explain taking a risk without thinking and taking a pre calculated risk
I always forget to hit the like button until Graham reminds me....thank you!
Solid advice all around. I discuss the statistics about "job hopping" with my students because it is so important - it's time to get rid of the old ideas about company loyalty. I went from making peanuts to six figures in less than a year from leveraging private sector positions. That was a few years ago and I've since switched to a more enjoyable career as a professor. And again Graham's advice is strong, here - I have more time here to build wealth by working on other projects and investing in myself. Good luck out there, everybody, and nice video, Graham.
Regards, I adore your communication style. Reasonable, knowledgeable, and accessible to all educational backgrounds.

Wow, I am so impressed! You are doing exactly what I was thinking and doing all my 10 years in the US regarding savings, taxes, cars and real estate. (I came to the US with $200 in my pocket. And now I have 3 properties, 2 businesses and living my life). It`s good to know that we are on the same road ) A lot of people don`t understand those things and I am so tired to argue with some of my friends. I guess those are just the roads that people voluntary have chosen to take and you will never change it. Wish you all the luck!

You are the only channel that actually cinvinces me to hit like at the start of the video. you're worth it
Thanks for sharing this with us!
Keep doing this, as much and as better you know !
Hi!
I’m only 17 but i really appriciate your videos alredy before i have my own household or my job and I was curious if you could make a video on jobs that are really worth to study right now and will pay good in the future.
Just an idea.
I'm so proud of u. I wish I could go back in time and learn all this stuff!
Literally any sales job or if you live in a country where tipping is standard in the culture do a job that will give tips whilst you’re still young. Engineering will always pay well. Best way is to invest into passive income whenever you get spare money and eventually not even have to work.
Kieran Woolston Yes I’m trying to invest the as much money as I can from summer student job but I try to help my family as well.
I’m considering learning some sort of engineering aswell but I don’t really like working for other people,I like being my own boss and will try to do freelancing in the future until I have enough to start my own business.
"thanks and hey there is never too late!"
The sentiment is nice, but let the jaded adults give you warnings. Start now and be diligent. When you start having a family, costs jump rapidly. When you start having to pay for an extra car so your spouse can go to work as well, it adds up. When you start having to look into savings for your kids to go to events or college in the future... it adds up.
Just be diligent and meticulous.
Very interesting topic!!
I will absolutely implement these tips 💪🔥
Dude....these gems you are dropping...wow....thank you for not being greedy with this great info...more blessings and resources to you
Honestly I just started watching you couple months ago and you are just flawless the way you explain everything thanks it has really help me managing my time and money better
Funny story. I never watch tv but I turned on Netflix for some inspiration to keep trying to build myself. I turned on selling sunset and picked a totally random episode. I paused it and came back to see YOUR face! It was perfect because it reminded me of everything that you’ve done to get there! It’s random, but it happened to give me the motivation I was looking for. Best wishes thank you for helping us learn even when we are starting from a negative number.
Just recently started binge watching the channel. And although I love his advice and helpful info, the best part of Graham’s videos are definitely his “smash that like button” requests weaves into it😂 always gives me a laugh lol. Oh and his hate for avocado toast

I've always said to myself "You are not the seller type of guy" but lately I realized there is no such thing and I'm talking myself down on not taking a great upportunity
I'll definitely look into getting a job that pays on results, as I have alway been a very competetive guy
Definitely not boring, some of the best financial motivation on YT. Glad I decided to keep the 2005 Pontiac Vibe. 👍
I really want a 30 min video on the taxes like you said! Specifically - when buying a house - is it possible to cashflow AND show the government a loss so I can pay less taxes at the same time?
I don't need master of the universe type money. I just want " oh god don't let me be homeless type money." I just started investing in my mid 30s. Hope i'm not to late too meet my minor goals lol.
The hate comments are annoying to read on IG and CZcams. You, unlike many, genuinely offer help that’s thorough, credible, and gives great knowledge many don’t offer. Your information is a great place to start learning and I now at 19 years old have property’s while going to college. I’m accumulating more wealth than some of my high school teachers and you got me started on it all. Generally the people who bash on your content are ignorant people that think like either poor or middle class societal members. They either have the mindset of spending, or saving but they’ll never truly understand investing, tax benefits and utilizing OTM (other peoples money). While I was always determined to succeed and new I was gonna the first few videos I watched of yours gave me great inspiration and really helped kick off my career and wealth. I’d just really like to say thank you!
Ah thank you so much! I show those in good fun just to make some lighthearted humor out of it all, but I really appreciate the kind words!
I agree other financial advisors were so boring. You have inspired me so much and I watch most do your videos.
I smashed this video thumbnail faster than the flash when I saw Graham's face distorted. I was like "Noooo! What happened to Graham!?"
Lots of colleagues did a mass leave in the company I work for. It was totally unexpected and many key people that stayed, got a raise. I got 35 percent more and now started my first year of university for a govt tax exempt program of 15 percent.
Ended up almost doubling my salary.. So I’ll stay hehe.
Those people were really brave and they’re doing great too; you have to push it, you are valuable, don’t let them use you!!
I used to work at a coffee shop and wanted a different job. Managed to get out to a hair salon as a receptionist at $11/hr. Then changed to a different salon for $12/hr. From there I worked at a flooring retail store for $14/hr. Then to a supply store for $16/hr. Went from $11/hr to $16/hr within the span of a year. At that time, min wage was $10.50/hr. This was the advice my brother gave me because I’d cry to him that I could barely afford to live and take care of my daughter. Everyone, EVEN STILL thinks this was dumb advice. I work in sales now and make well more than the $16/hr but that lesson was enough for me.
I wouldn’t mind a 30 min video on “how to minimize your tax bill” 🤔🤔
