I need the door opened on my 2005 Acura MDX to get the key code. The challenge; the car battery is dead & key remote + key is missing. Does the VIN # bring the key code record for my car? I tried like 6 fobs I found and none wouldn't link to my 2002 acura el..stupes...
I usually never have problems calibrating a fob..idk why or what I'm doing wrong fa rockstone ya.

Thanks for posting the Video. I did have issue with programming 2 key fobs for an Acura CL 2001 to get it to program both keys at the same time. After I pressed the 4th lock, once I heard the doors locked, I immediately pressed both fobs’ unlock. Hope that help if you have problem with programming your key fobs.

You need a new door lock actuator

My window switch was replaced. Only the drivers window would work.
Replaced the switch with a used one, it worked fine.. then the fob wouldn’t work. This drove Me insane. I’m so happy I found this video. Thanks for sharing this.

Umm, the only think I could think of is if: Your keyfob is dead, it was done wrong, or it doesn't work on a tls acura.

It didn’t work for mine either. Mine is a 2004. Changed battery too :/

That's because on some 2004 2005 models (like my TL), when you get to the part where the locks cycle automatically, that is only a signal that your car is in programming mode. To complete the programming you must hit the lock button 2X then hit the unlock button and programming is complete.
