I was at a Vegas game once where they blew their horn outside after the countdown like the clip you showed. Then they played Calgary's goal horn. They weren't even playing the Flames. One time I went when they were, and there was a false goal horn moment there too. Yeah Vegas is bad at the whole horn thing.

@@leafsfanforever2896 you’re kidding me! You’re justifying that mess of a game!? How could you!? That is the most blatant and lazy mistake the officials made all season! If they stopped the clock on time and reset it properly then the goal would’ve had time to go in and they would have won the game. In turn not giving Chicago an extra point in the standings going to overtime. Also in turn not injuring their starting goaltender
The blackhawks and blue jackets one was absolutely horrendous by the officials, there was a large chain of events that really messed things up for the blue jackets, long story short, the goal should have counted

1:22 That was actually a mistake made by the horn operator. He intended to blast it once, but for the first three seconds, he let go after half a second each blast before holding it down for the last one.
If he managed to even the lengths of the blasts and the gaps between blasts, then I’d say he should do that for every goal. Happen to know who operates it?

Hey GHG, Columbus' horn quilling is technically how the S203CV works, it plays a higher note on lower air.
I dunno why but I like hearing wonky and mishaped horns

another horn malfunction was when kronwall scored in game 4 in 2014 quarterfinals vs boston and there was a like 8 second goal horn delay at the Joe
