This track is just so well put together. I'd say that it takes me back, but really it takes me back to so many places that it's like a montage speedrun of good times.
The visuals are like the memories of a CT scan machine. So many lives flashed before my eyes at the pace of a busy emergency room. Wow, those drums.
The visuals (apart from that 3d structure) actually remind me of 90s techno videos only a bit more distorted - perfectly fitting the music that is like a better quality and glitched version of 90s jungle/dnb/big beat

i really was like "ah yeah, glitch mob rehashing drink the sea, kinda uninspired whatever", but that arp coming in at 1:40 and what followed really reminded me of what the glitch mob is able to do with simplicity and the reframing of breaks and then the rest of the track happened, please keep this style, even if it doesn't sell.

I've listened to all the new tracks now, sadly this is the only one that resonates with me, especially the start. I loved the old albums and saw you live but this album is not really glitch hop but more DnB, house, rave.
Yeah. That is not necesarilly a bad thing though.
Keep in mind, as a function of how the music is produced they have the ability to remix their own music live. Ableton dj mode.
The live shows are quite possibly going to be awesome with this style thrown into all of the other styles they have created and stolen.
I like the dancehall dnb feel on this song. This is just fun af.
@@py_a_thon I understand artists evolve, but each time they produce something new, they will gain new followers while older fans will drop off. This isn't for me. I just didn't enjoy it or feel the same highs I felt on their previous albums.

I mean, these dudes use some really powerful nerd level software. They can basically plug and play a unique set into a scene almost instantly if they want to.
They are dj/composers who often perform live with originally composed music (and some really novel software)
