ABOUT ME
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 and raised in Houston, although my heart lays in between Houston and Hawaii.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since. Also! Just to be clear: me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" doesn't mean that anyone who's listened to kpop later than me is inferior. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time.😄
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
- My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

I've heard that the choreographer left them after teaching them the steps and formations which made them to do the rest on there own
Yep they said on in an interview or something the choreographer only teach them for about 2 sessions because of I think conflicts of schedule because this time their management is changing because of that they took care of the changes and polishing their dance of course mainly leading them their leader eunbi

It’s at the height of Coronavirus pandemic, so most likely limiting the amount of interaction between everyone.
@@phangpang14 Sakura specifically told that Eunbi helped the most in the choreography. Of course dancers like Chaeyeon and Hitomi also helped the members, but the praise was given to Eunbi because she did the most work. So it is kind of ignorant and displeasing for you to take hard work Eunbi put in and include Chaeyeon name in there. There zero need for you to add Chaeyeon when the moment and compliment was for Eunbi.

Yeah but the J-trio have obligations to return to AKB48 and HKT48 and the Korean girls have to return to their labels for future groups or solo careers..so I doubt they will renew.

In a perfect world, the Korean labels would let the Korean girls renew and the J-trio would go back to their groups and graduate from them before returning to Korea to rejoin Iz*One..but yeah.. slim chance.
Definitely gonna be exciting to watch Sakura, Nako and Hitomi return to their groups..because I am a big fan of J-pop and those 3 are some of favorites. Will also be interesting to see where the 9 other ladies end up. But yeah..Iz*One is gonna always a precious memory for us fans.

@@atinxaces8301 Sakura mentioned Eunbi specifically, said she pretty much took it all on herself :(( I know she felt a lot of pressure, it's really sad, they all deserve better.
the reason their contract is expiring is because they were formed off of a survival show called Produce 48. it consisted of 96 trainees from different companies competing for the 12 spots of izone. since they’re all from different companies the group was always going to only promote for 2.5 years (i think it’s 2.5 years don’t quote me), after which the girls return to their own companies. anyways those 2.5 years end in early 2021 but they’re so amazing so everyone’s praying that they stay together permanently!! 🤞🤞

hi, so im a kpop stan. ive been a fan of ses, finkl, sechskies, turbo, h.o.t, girls generation so on and so forth. izone is one of the best idol groups i have ever been a fan of. they have the vocals, the visuals, the dancing, the discography, izone has it all. but did you also know they are one of the best selling female kpop groups ever? they have been breaking records left and right, and they contend with blackpink and twice. all from a 2 year old group! izone is severely severely severely underrated internationally.

Izone is group formed through MNET survival program Produce 48. They were supposed to promote for 2 years and 6 months. They are supposed to disband bcs their companies send them to the competition to promote themselves so they are more useful as potential money income later. It was later on proved that the main producer of the show rigged it. (Some of them would make it anyways but yeah.. they went through the competition, promoted for a while and ended up being told some of them weren’t supposed to make it.. pretty much.)
After the rigging was proved, they were forced to go on hiatus and to stay lowkey. Some people hated on them a lot but a i guess majority learned to love them and did not care since it wasnt up to them to be involved in the rigging. It was decided they would continue as group until their contract expires.
Up until now they had series of flower concept. (Comparing the girls to blooming flowers that survived the winter - the competition..) Each member was also assigned a color. (first three albums)
Since this comeback they have new concept. This particular album is about dreams. You could even say their time together is like a dream they are bound to wake up from. Their time is limited. (There is a lot of watches they are taking control of in the MV) The colorful circle present everywhere is mix of each girl’s color. The fandom used that kind of colors mixed as profile pictures during their hiatus to show their support so it holds a meaning that their power is unlimited with us. They drive to the stormy clouds bcs they would do anything for their fans knowing the fans were, are and are going to be here for them too..
Panorama continued this story telling concept singing about living the moment like it could last forever, unfinished story, remembering, promise etc.. knowing this if you read the lyrica you will find it all lol..
Since the first three albums included "IZ" in name and the two last ones included "ONE" I except either one more album to "ONE" series and the end or maybe the last "ONE" series album + special last album.
They are supposed to disband in april 2021 and the only way to not disband is agreement of all their companies to prolong the contract which I honestly consider impossible but one never knows.
The contract extension is talking by the agencies now.

It's really sad that they disbanded, iz*one as a group has so many potential! Their choreography and the synchronization shows that they go well together, i was hoping that it was a permanent gg but the j line still has work on their respective agency and the k line still has to go back to their agency for solo and new gg careers. .

Choreography was actually thought to them once or twice not sure but long story short they praticed for SSOTS by themselves with their leader Eunbi as their instructor... they themselves added killing parts for this choreography from the original. I'm proud of these girls.

the choreograper is FreeMind Crew, at some interview with the choreo teacher of freemind, she saying that izone choreo is their first project, they never making a choreo for 12 people but they take the job and all of title track of izone since debut up until secret story of swan also the FreeMind crew doing it, they take choreo for izone to the next level indeed.. but she also complementing how izone make the choreo looks easy and she saying that izone member are so talented and learn the choreo so fast
the choreographer for the first 4 title tracks ( and some b-side tracks) is chae dasom (채다솜) of dance studio " Freemind ". and for their latest title track panorama it was choi young joon also from " Freemind " who made the choreo ^^

izone was actually made by a survival show called produce48 (produce101 created ioi) and the contract of the group was just for 2,5 year so i don’t think that they gonna re sign a contract or something, also it was revealed that the votes got corrupted so yeah there is like no chance they don’t disband sadly :(
4 of their title track was choreograph by the same person Chae Dasom from freemind studio. You can check them out ( la vien rose, Violeta & fiesta ). And their new b sides Sequence too. That's was awesome.

SSotS in it's series is under a new production company. The Prior 3 albums were a series of debut to blossoming under the first Production company. The series tell of their birth of and raise as Kpop stars along with the connection to Wizone. It's a fairy tell story. The Motif of the video is their light stick since their are a jewel for all of them +one. SSotS is like a fanfare of the next stage where they are fully establish as Kpop stars and an performance of the Wizone. What is interesting in Kpop 3rd and 4th generations is the connection to the fandom and the understanding that the Fandom is the reason for the success. Iz*one concept are the 12 princess venture in Kpop. Or that what I get out of it.
You need to watch some of their performances so you can see better what they do they're so in sync its insane.
