Very appropriate given the fact one of my friends is currently isolating and I am having to daily test. I only had covid in Nov 2021 so I'm hoping I'll be okay because I have so many deadlines and job interviews next week (took me over 3 weeks to recover from it in November and still don't have a proper sense of taste 😭) But I'm so pleased you managed to be out of isolation so quickly!

Hope you are better soon Eve. You're more positive (no pun intended) than I am. I've been unwell lately and I'm as miserable as sin when poorly. (Unlike my dad I do try to keep the misery to myself as far as possible. He likes to share it around.)

I recently ( last week) got out of iso for the first time of having covid, I had no main symptoms just a sore throughout iso was the worst for me day 1-4, no early release for me full 10 day. This vlog in areas made me smile just by the way you say some things. Hope you ok though. So glad i was out of iso for my birthday celebration.

I have COVID right now and it SUCKS!!!!! I've been sick for going on two weeks. I am disowning my "best friend." She knew she had been exposed to it, but she still came over to my house without telling us that she had been exposed. Now, both my husband and I have it and I ended up exposing my parents before I found out I had been exposed and they have it as well. I am royally pissed. The b*tch knows she gave it to all of us and hasn't even bothered to text us to see how we are doing. Some friend......

@@pagangamer87 Yes, I am MUCH better now, but I'm not going to lie. I still get fatigued pretty easily after dealing with COVID for over a month. It REALLY takes a lot out of you! The very last symptom to go was the cough. That cough lingered for WEEKS after I tested negative!

I've had more hair fall these past few years and realised it's because of my scalp, product build up/ oily scalp are not a good mix for your follicles! Try a scalp scrub maybe? I've also switched to using function of beauty which is pricey but amazing! (just make sure you select the right goals because I chose the wrong ones once and that formula really didn't work)

Oh no Eve! Hope you are feeling better after this. I mean I feel grateful that I haven't got it as of yet, and I'm not trying to brag or anything but even though school is very busy and risky at times, having two jabs has helped take off some fear. Even if I do get Covid, I think it would be much better with protection and free tests. Sending virtual hugs ;)

Covid has been linked to extra hair loss. A few of my friends have experienced it also

this feels very appropriate right now as two of my flatmates are currently positive and i'm testing daily to see if i have it too or not!
also, i've actually heard some people had hair loss due to covid so maybe that could also be a cause of it! :)
I'm taking Biotin supplements for hairloss/thinning. It's vitamin B7. It's made a big difference to the sheer amount that was fallign out every day. I don't know if my diet brought it on or not. I was veggy for 17 years and pescaterian for about the last 14?
I always go through phases where it feels like more of my hair is falling out. But over the years my hair still seems the same thickness so I choose to ignore it :)
My worst Covid brain fog moment was me standing in my kitchen with my marmite jar in my hand with no idea whatsoever which cupboard I kept it in. I've been here 2 years and use marmite daily. I had no memory whatsoever what was in any of my kitchen cupboards at all. Very scary. That was about a month after Covid. I also did a LOT of getting half way through a sentence and then stopping with NO IDEA what I'd been talking about. That happened A LOT and even when just thinking thoughts by myset. I would suddenly just been standing, staring blankly thinking, how did I get here? Luckilly that's worn right off now.

Hair loss is a quite common symptom of long covid/viral illnesses and can occur months after the initial infection, so that may fall in line with your first infection date. Sea kelp supplements seem to have helped with mine! wishing you well!
Hair loss can a post-jab side effect.
Normally if you don't shed more than about 100 hairs a day it's pretty normal and nothing to worry about. You may shed a bit more if you don't brush your hair that often too

Hoping that you are feeling better now eve! My dad has just tested positive and it is my 18th birthday on Tuesday so while I am grateful that I have the ability to celebrate and go out for a meal next week, I am so disappointed that I can't go out for a meal on my actual birthday as it won't feel the same on another day. I know I am lucky that I can still be with my family and a lot of people don't have that but I m still a little disheartened.
