@@mikegrossberg8624 Oh, gee, you're right! I've gotta try to be more alert in the middle of the night, especially with my ancient mind the way it is. Damn funny Tee, anyway!
Even though it was not well received in theaters, I still love this classic film. I really love that it is a film within a film. Can you do 10 things you didn't know about Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat?
Not well received? This film FLOPPED.
last action hero is a masterpiece. most just do not understand the movie and its deep meanings
@J Wil go fuck yourself the movie is not bad. I have it on DVD
Hahahaha it's a fun movie, but it ain't no masterpiece.
After a marathon session of a few dozen "Minty 10's" this one has been my favorite, so far. Well done sir!
Alan Rickman was a great actor but Charles Dance is an awesome actor too. His portrayal of Tywin in Game of Thrones was superb.
This movie was Deadpool before Deadpool was Deadpool!😂
😏

Thank you so much for doing your videos. It only proved how awesome my childhood was!
Great episode, Minty. Last Action Hero is an underrated parody masterpiece for movie connoisseurs only! The flying exploding car sequence (6:36) is one of my favourites.
Please never stop making videos.. I discovered your page this month.. I binge out on it.. Very nostalgic and informative more please
Hey minty, thanks for making these. You have really cheered me up lately. Been not doing very well mentally.
That's not good, I hope things can get better for you 😁
@@SkellingtonFan Thanks. I look forward to these videos, they cheer me up every time I see them.
@@damionstjames that's great, sometimes it's the little things that make a huge difference. I know as I too suffer mental health issues, there not fun!
One moment at a time. That may seem tedious, but that’s how we all do it. You’re not alone, my friend.
Try to keep your head up and keep an eye out for things to stay positive for. There is no shame in seeking help if it becomes too much to handle on your own though, no man is an island.
Critics couldn't understand a movie.......what a shock that why no one should even watch critics
Pfft! I've been ignoring those jackasses for years. 🙂
@@BennyLlama39 I read the critic's reviews. If they say a movie sucks...I buy a ticket.
@@bonusbaby801 🤔 That actually makes sense. May have to try it some day. 🙂
@@BennyLlama39 Back in the days before cable was available in my locale, I bought "TV Guide" every week and went to movie critic Judith Crist's column. After a year or so, I realized that if she thought a movie was trash, I'd enjoy the hell out of it. Good way to pick 'em: if she liked it, I probably wouldn't, and if she didn't like it there was a 95% chance I _would!_
Alice In Chains started playing I turned the volume UP!! I love them! RIP Layne & Mike!! 🥰😍
Nobody will ever sound like "Alice in Chains". I used to sing "No Excuses" and "Them Bones" with my friend's band. Man, the harmonies are so close, so tight... they're tough ones to sing! I was about 22 or 23 during their heyday, I could NEVER sing those now!
Your really killing it this month Minty, some really great videos lately!
Minty you rock! Thanks for doing all this research to teach us all.
One of my favorite movies. Because of this movie I fell in love with rattlesnake skin boots
This movie also introduced me to the greatness which is Megadeth
Pray for Dave to recover from throat cancer.
It's weird how these early 90s movies introduced me to some of my favorite old school metal bands, though I think I had already heard megadeth by then. But movies like mortal kombat for instance. I discovered fear factory and napalm death from that movie. I've come a long way since then, but in no small way thanks to these type of movies.
I loved it, pokes fun at so many of the things that have to happen behind the scenes to make the stars look good.
Love the video man, you always deliver quality content, that is informative and damn funny. Well done man, Cheers!
I remember one review called it "a boated Americanisation of 'Cinema Paradiso'" which is frankly the most stupid comparison ever.
Yes, because those find are sooo similar! 🙄
There is not ONE thing about those films that is similar.
Off the jump I gave you a like, I love this movie
Great video Minty i requested and you delivered and now i know things i never knew about my favorite arnold movie! Extemely smart underated film and a must see for 80s/90s action movie fans. I can just point at the house and say THE BAD GUYS ARE IN THERE!
Hello?!? Ive just shot somebody and i want to confess! Lmao hilarious
Brilliant video as usual, but love the T-shirt!
That shirt may have said "Cheaper than Alan Rickman"', but Charles Dance is just priceless.
14:31 LMFAO that is comedy gold right there, keep up the great work Minty XD
LAH was such a fan service movie and why we loved Arnie's work. He was always the most fun of the action hero actors.
🤔
I think the movie was deeply philosophical, especially the boy talking to Grim Reaper.
I don't think i would ever have kids if the grim reaper told me i die a grandfather. Imagine how it would feel after birth, you know that any minute could be your last.
@@agentk3984 any minute can always be your last, you just don't think about it all the time
I’ve seen this movie at least 30 times I wish they would remake it with the Rock and have Arnold make an appearance in it
Oh for fuck's sake! Don't give anybody ideas.
I remember renting the VHS from blockbuster, I fell in love with it. One of my top 10! But because it was so long ago I didnt notice the cameos, thanks for this review and trip down memory lane ✌
Really been enjoying your clips, they are just wonderful and full of cool details. I work in Hollywood, on most of the major films these days, but I find, very very few have the fun and great qualities of the movies from years ago. Thanks again, decided to subscribe today, so, see you around.
Has Minty done Hudson Hawk yet? If not, please Minty. Do Hudson Hawk ;)
Another deeply underrated film! Not a classic by any stretch but I never understood the hate for it. Used to love the platform game on the Atari ST back in the day as well. Good call 👍
“Bunny, ball ball!” That and “I’ll torture you so slowly you’ll think it’s a career. I’ll kill your friends, your family, and the bitch you took to the prom” are my favorite lines. Bruce was great at funny roles. Hit or miss with action roles
Hudson Hawk, easily one of my all-time favorite movies.
Who isn't a fanboy/Girl of *Arnold Schwarzenegger*
New Minty posts always put me in a good mood.
Last Action Hero is a really fun movie! I remember watching it at a friend’s birthday party and we all laughed a lot and had a great time! That’s probably my favorite memory with this movie! Arnold does a fantastic job in this movie and gives an incredible performance! This will always be high up on my list of favorite movies featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger!
The soundtrack should have been in the countdown. It was amazing.
COOOL MINTY😎I've seen this one bro. And your seeing Dumbo at the end LOOK LOL😄
YES about time you done this film Minty. Massively underrated film!
6:04 I really appreciate you used the Police Station Loop.
My grandfather took me to see this when it came out. He laughed and thought it was ridiculous.
My Stepdad took me, My Mom,Stepbrother and 5 year old Baby Brother to go see it.
We didn't laugh, ONCE.
@@Tornado1994 my GF father delivered my GF and her kid sister to the what was supposed to be the movie bengi ( kids movie about a dog) but there was two movie places in town . He dropped them to the wrong one and two small girls aged 9 and 7 ended up in police academy movie and the 7 year old in the middle of the movie yells out “ where is benji”
"Look, elephant!" is not nearly as odd a thing for Arnold to say as "Put that cookie down!" from "Jingle All The Way".
Or his "It's not a tuma!" In kindergarten cop
Very very underrated movie especially the 3rd act back in NY when the film gets serious. I personally feel this is one of Arnolds best films. I feel this is really the only Arnold movie that is truly self aware of what it is.
If production had a bit more time for editing ect and the movie was given a later release maybe it would have been a success. I always enjoyed its humor. Like the way Arnold drives his car like an absolute lunatic.
