I went with the Wireless :), Very happy with the purchase.
How long does the battery lasts and or do they use a lithium recharge batter?
Was it hard to install I'm 60 no nothing about this have no help but I need it so bad 😢.
@@nidzaperez7258I think it’s mostly just mounting the backing( just screw it to your door frame) then just lock the doorbell on there
So are they two different doorbells or can you just buy and choose to do wired or wireless with the battery?
Which doorbell did you get I recently got blink and I’m not liking it very much so any advice on what door camera is good
Ask yourself this question:
Would you rather swap or charge lithium battery packs (ring) or have ZERO protection with wired doorbells if there's a blackout or a well thought robbery where they cut the power?
Wireless all day for me.
how’d you buy it or where you buy it, I know it’s in ring but is it ring 2nd generation or which one
@draddictive7668 i currently have bought the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus its from this year and I'm very happy with it :)
@@-never-gonna-give-you-up-What else did you buy with it? Chime, extra battery?
@Illusionz-de2mo exactly that hahaha, 1 battery and the normal chime, so not the pro or plus. The plus/pro version has 5ghz wifi but more expensive and the normal one chimes very quick so I'm happy.
You could always upgrade to the pro chime :)
@@-never-gonna-give-you-up- was it a quick release that you bought?
We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version czcams.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.
im aite with the wireless, mine last a couple months or maybe more
I went with ring pro but I wish I kept with thr ring 2 because if power goes out the battery will take over
Neither my ring is a POS. Doesn’t record anything worth while. It doesn’t start recording until the person is walking away from my front door. It’s the worst $200 I’ve ever spent. And mine is hard wired but the battery still dies, especially in the winter.
You spent $200 on a ring doorbell?? You’re getting scammed where ever you live. In the Uk I bought my ring door bell 2nd gen for only £40 ($50 usd) on Amazon and it works great.
@@DB-yr6cgim getting mine for £29.99 its on a deal.
Its cause you bought the budget ring bell the highest specced one is around £150 or 200 dollars@@DB-yr6cg
Just picked up the wireless Gen 2 for $55 marked down from $99.
Ring is my favorite, but I would pick wired and battery
I had a ring doorbell camera. You have to pay a monthly fee after the first 30 days. Dumped it. The camera is not good in dark. Its satisfactory daytime.
Get one with both someone cuts your power or theres a power outage u still have battery powered and get a ups backup power for your router and other critical components for your security system. Get both cloud based and nvr and you will have every single base covered youll ever need. Upgrade from 1080p to 2k or even 4k and your living the dream.
Wired or wireless.. do these camera bells comes with another piece/device that maybe should be installed indoors to make a sound when someone ring the bell?
yes the chime, you plug it inside of your house
So this video is not going to explain to people that if you go wired you may or may not need a transformer?
I’d go with Optimus Prime leader of the autobots!
I took the ring doorbell 2, cuz it has a battery AND wires. So if thw Power goes out the cam still works
I have a wireless doorbell but it's connected to our doorbell and it doesn't drain
Wireless is honestly, in my opinion, better.
With wireless, yes, you have to buy batteries, but it's much better than losing video feed when needed most during a blackout.
Wired only handles sound, not power. At least this is true on some systems.
Wireless doorbell for me 😁☺️
I bought the wired one by mistake. We have no door bell. Is their something ì can buy so that i can use it? It's a ring
Chime
You probably know the answer by now, but yes, you can buy a power adapter from Ring. It plugs into a wall outlet, you have to route the wires out to the doorbell camera and connect it up.
Lol... Ya obviously if you have an existing doorbell you would go with the wired
unfortunately many people don't know how to install a wired one so they still opted for a wireless door bell.
@@superduperboyxyou can just pay someone, sounds like a dumb/lazy excuse. Plus here we are on YT free education, but i guess.
@@uziel900able believe me, many just don't want to pay someone to do the hardwire one and just want to keep it simple with the battery powered one. It's not lazy, they're just not motivated to CZcams it and rather do something else.
I seriously need this sooo bad. My bday is. Js. Haha 😊
you want
@@b4bzainyt yes
You really don’t need two way talk for the outdoor cameras. You only need two way talk for the doorbell camera
What? It should be the opposite lol you need 2 way talk so you can talk to the people at your door, it makes 0 sense to talk to someone on a doorbell inside lmao even with a normal camera just call them
I have a doorbell because of my apartment.
I live in apartment that I don’t think I should drill the nails into my doors is there any other option?
Get a two way tape
Which one has motion detection ?
Both lol you could buy a ring doorbell 7 years ago when they were first made and it has motion detection
Does anyone know if it plays a ring inside with the wireless one?
You have to have a compatible device to play chimes indoors, such as an echo or the device sold separately.
go with a wired camera in general i.e. not wireless as thieves can jam the signal
Thieves are not that smart unless you are a bank
@@bluetiger5852 Yeah tell that to the teenagers that jammed my wifi camera while they robbed my next door neighbour.
I have it all recorded. timestamps show the missing footage while being jammed. Sent to police.
They also stole the car keyfob signal to break into new cars , they are pretty smart depending wherr you live.
@@DipSet85 if you have something worth stealing why wouldn't you have a better security system? No body is robbing what everyone else has, you must have something special that makes it worth it.
@@bluetiger5852 Not true, depends where you live. I live in a densely populated area in london.
I used to think like you"these youngsters dont have the energy or the know how" to jam a wifi device and yet i have video evidence submitted to police that they did.
They also hacked into a bran new mercedes using thr keyless entry system which has now been exposed. In London UK common thieves are that sophisticated now
@@DipSet85 i hear you, why even get that Mercedes if you can't afford getting a bodyguard inside of it with a built-in turret and bullet proof glass..
In the US i drive a 20 year old car.. has expensive equipment worth more than the car itself used for work.
See my point?
Blend in with the people and look poor..
So when a thief is shopping around in the area my car would be the last car he looks at, sometimes i forget cash and my $1k laptop a couple of times just laying around.
There are probably a million people around you its not possible for all of them to get robbed at the same time, some of them ain't never gonna get robbed in the right circumstances (not going down the alley in the middle of the night)
Play it right!
Amma show off my bank account in better areas in the right places.
Think like a thief and protect yourself!
I recently got one and my battery is already low. It lasted over a month.
How long for them to charge up again??
@@fernandorivas7145 I usually leave it overnight and by the time I wake up it’s already fully charged
Buy a second battery and that problem is gone, just swap, takes 1 minute and youll be up and running.
Tenias que hacerla la compra y regalarsela a alguien necesitado.

Que padre donde la venden saludos desde México 🇲🇽

I have one and it has no batteries so it has wires
No mention of the doorbell not working in a power outage if you get a wired one? Well, you clearly missed some important facts. Thumbs down.
It’s a short, not an in depth review
@@trebrown1078 well if it’s gonna say things like “keep in mind, if you get a wireless one, you’ll have to charge it” they could have just as easily mentioned an equally important point “keep in mind, if the power goes out, the wired one won’t work”……. Your point is invalid
@@Steve-hu8px thats a pretty dumb reason to dislike this comparsion. wired version is default meaning its just a doorbell with a camera. wireless is the "upgraded" version as you could mount it anywhere, BUT at the cost of needing to charge every now and then. if a normal doorbell doesn't work during power outage, why would a doorbell with a camera work? an more indeph review can bring up that point
@@scoot5642 well, a normal doorbell doesnt come with a camera, does it? And can easily be replaced by a knock on the door, cant it? But the camera (the whole purpose of buying one of these) cannot be replaced by anything else. And it takes 3 seconds to mention, which, the last time I checked, can definitely fit into a short Thats why. I mean, if you're gonna title the video "Should you get a wired or wireless doorbell" then you should probably include the BIGGEST features - not working in a power outage being one of them. If you bought a security system, wouldnt one of the MAIN things you want to know be that it wont work in a power outage unless you have a back up power supply? Im sorry you're not smart enough to understand these concepts.
@@Steve-hu8pxI'm sorry you're not smart enough to know the meaning of the word "concept" or its contextual use in a sentence. The problem isn't your lack of knowledge, It's your nasty attitude and the way in which you come across plain and simple. If you're considering buying something off of a 10 second CZcams short, then you're probably stupid or slow or mental or elderly or a child and in which case, I would invite you to not make purchase options off of 10 second videos. That would be redundant.
Ring
DON'T get Ring doorbell --it delays notification and delayed capture the face of a person until they walk away.
yeah ring is ass, i have one
Even if you get wired, you still need batteries.
Arlo wire free
Amazing people sacrifice their privacy for "safety". My mind is blown by people living in such horrible enough fear, to have the desire to put cameras on and around their home, and even IN their homes. Soooo terrified 🤯
Hackers, any government angency, and the people who work at the company get a kick out of watching you guys, may as well be on a reality TV show, fools.
You forgot your tin foil hat
@@kalebcanfield8139hahahahaha
For me it is for my husband who has trouble walking. He always answers the door no matter what. I want him to see who is at the door and perhaps speak to them without hobbling to the door. He also has Dementia so he doesn't get most things. I have nothing to see inside my house that I worry about. I am sure they can spy through other things if they want. My life would put them to sleep.
@@dianabaskin1944 You don't need to worry about that crazy stuff anyway, this dude is just weird
The government doesn't give half a shit about you lol they're not gonna stalk you through a doorbell
No , they are getting hacked. Not safe.
How do they get hacked?...what happens?
They are connected to wifi, the wifi is connected to internal devices such as tvs, phone, PC radios etc, meaning they can re order everything. When hacked that data is being sent overseas.
@@wwjd_ everything can e hacked, even medical equipment, its easy. Look it up online.
@elizabethhurtado2829 wait so wired gets hacked and not the battery ones or both do?? do u know which camera brand rarely get hacked?
@@MaritzaMendoza1018Your ring doorbell only gets hacked if you made a weak password for your ring account and because you didn't turn on 2 Step Verification for more security. But other than that your fine don't worry👍
Blink
Arent wireless ones easier to steal
I mean you could still steal the wired one. If anything the wired one would shut off it they ripped the cables off
The MUBVIEW Wireless video Doorbell Camera comes with a terrific Anti-Theft feature.
Well they can steal both but the whole point of it is the theft will be caught and saved so you will know who steals it. I also recommend the cheaper eBay no name brand models. I have had 4 of them and place them all around my house for the motion sensor capabilities. The batteries last about two months or longer depending if you play with yours like I did at first(using them when I hear any little noise). But if you use them for the night vision and motion sensor then they can last 3 months with just regular doorbell use.
Wireless is better because if you have a blackout you are boned.
Uh buy a inverter@@-never-gonna-give-you-up-
