Having lived in India for a while I can tell you it’s true but then there are places that cost higher and are very good. There is a very large fraction of people who get stuff from places like the one in the video simply because they do not know where the thing has been sourced from and they want the cheapest thing. During my stay in India I found and befriend a good deal of excellent bakers and pastry chefs. I used to be a regular bakeries and the goods were baked with love and care, paying attention to finer details. The cost was on the higher side but it’s justified isn’t it? There are in fact a very large number of smaller bakeries run by people who treat their products with a lot of care and aren’t really “mass producing” so consequently the cost is higher and they usually can’t sustain well in a market that is run by mass produced shit. It’s the sick Indian mindset of getting the cheapest thing available. They simply don’t appreciate bakeries that charge more and have baked goods are made with a lot of care and attention. They don’t get why cakes coming from horrible places like that are so cheap. They are mass produced and are made with the worst possible stuff.

Imo everything was okay even tho I hope they use big spoon even the cheap one to scoop the batter.. but with those heat in the oven, germs are dead in the baking process... right? But it's not okay when they used newspaper instead of wax paper or parchment on the cake pan, the chemicals in ink is dangerous if they enters body :(
