I was lucky to have grown up in this generation of music where it expresses love for each other. Thank you to Philly's WDAS Quiet Storm for playing music from such as Roy Ayers

I grew up in England and seeing Roy was one of the total highlights of my life. He is a genius. I love the singers of that era but I just love Roy. We got tickets for his concert in Birmingham. The concert was amazing. He came on for an encore and said that his mum had died, He played the vibes for her. It was beyond anything. I was there with my mum. We both cried. It was so special to us. I love him. I can hardly believe that he came back out. But it was tribute. Wonderful musician and great man.
That’s amazing that you got to see Roy live! I wish I was alive in that era, sucks how I was born in 2008 😂 but I wish I was there to experience it, especially if you and your mom were crying, but hey, glad to see that there is a genuine Roy Ayers fan 😂❤️
I’m a 90s baby and I still love this ❤❤❤… especially when I’m in my feelings wine glass in hand 🤚 you don’t deserve me Lol … but 2 hours later .. come here right now I love you your mine ❤❤❤😂😂😂
My ex did me so wrong my heart is aching and broken I been in a mental hospital twice because I feel like a failure she is my world i miss them so much GOD PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME
Reminds me of my mother and her favorite nephew my cousin they was always having a nice little set of people laughing playing cards and listening to good music like this
Carla Vaughn's voice gives me chills!!! And Diana Ross is famous??? Smh!!! This song is a perfect example of underrated singers who should've made it much higher in the industry. Her range is amazing. Roy Ayers on the other hand can't sing a lick!! LOL!! But he's a genius composer. LOVE his music. The way he plays keys on this is hypnotic. Absolutely gorgeous tune. 🙂💕 Check out his Anthology CD. Full of SERIOUS masterpieces. Youll love every track on it.
I ain't never heard this song but I love it . It's got a Marvin Gaye vibe to it . As a matter of it you kinda of sound like Marvin Gaye with a jazzy sound . He sung You Send Me before . Miss . Linda ❤
He put more of a jazz twist As opposed to country flavor by Sam Cooke This version is better But Al jarreau has a version that should not be overlooked
Roy sounds good and is a great musician, however he trashed this song. Leave Sam alone unless you are going to do it strait forward. Sorry Roy, don't like it.
He did a beautiful job on the music but vocally he sounds terrible. He should stick to composition and playing synths, 'cause he can't sing a LICK. You have to admit his keys sound heavenly and hypnotic though.
I wish they still made music like this😭
When music was soulful and real. So happy to have been part of that beautiful generation.
I keep this on repeat for YEARS 😂
This is my jam. I love Roy Ayers music. They don't make music like this anymore
Not even close❤

I did the same for Carlsberg a few years ago, picking up 70 kilo barrels of beer to stack on to P of eachother! Roughest job on your back in the world

The best remake of a Sam Cooke song ever made except for an obscure kid group from the seventies I think was called Unit 4 plus 2. Help?
