- On our way to the Outer Banks, Irf and I stopped to visit friends in Charlotte, NC. Between our visits, we found 2 Goodwills and some amazing (and valuable) things! Come thrift shop with us and see what we found! I share all the information about what I'm picking, how much I'm paying, and how much I think I will make on any piece I will sell either on eBay, in one of my booths, or in a live sale here on CZcams!

I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.

Buying rescued treasures helps the planet! If we could all stop buying new things from the big box stores and start treasuring the beautiful things that already exist, we could lessen our personal impact on the planet. That is what YoSoBoHo is all about!

The Goodwill’s were great. The drive to Cedar Island was so peaceful!! Your campground …! There are NO WORDS to describe the beauty!! Makes me want an RV (would have to be “adapted”)!! I’ve only camped in tents and it’s been Y->EAR->S!

The scarf looks sooo good on the little table! I'd put something under it so the corners don't cause wear to the fabric, as it's irreplaceable. You have a knack for finding stuff by underrated artists such as Joan. The bird paintings are really well done. You bought a painting you were gonna add to months ago, did you ever get time?? What a peaceful place to vacay, love the dog. I have a four month old pomeranian with the zoomies.

That painting has been staring at me in my sunroom! It was too big to take in the camper to work on during our vacay, so it’s waiting for me. The trouble is, when I do have a bit of project time now, I’ve been fixing ceramics and building holiday assemblages! There’s always something to do! Maybe if I get any down time at the end of the year… 🤷🏻♀️😊
Wow what a great score on the makeup! I use bare minerals brushes, and I'm telling you I think they are getting close to 20 years old! 😆 Still as good as the day I bought them, just keep them clean! Awesome camp sight!

Hi doll! You're looking great! I, myself, love sterling silver. It's my most favorite thing of all the metals, but when thrifting, I'm primarily looking for glass, pottery, art, porcelaine, Hummels, dishes, and other kitschy chachkies from times past. I'm not really on clothes and jewelry, unless I see something really special.
Love the raspberry beret. Everyone should have one. Or two. I wore mine the other night at the Hollywood Bowl, because it was actually freezing in Southern California.
BTW, that colorful table draping works perfectly with your collectibles. I'm glad you're keeping it there. The color coordination is perfect. Definitely not to busy.
Bare Minerals! Yes! Very high-end makeup line. I've had some products which were quite costly at Macy's and Bloomingdales. I no longer wear makeup, except the color stick from BOOM! (for older gals). At my age, less is definitely more. But the Bare Minerals were one of my favorites only a couple years ago.

Hi love! I hosted this year and made a killer bird! I brined it for a full day and I think that made all the difference! I also made a corn soufflé and sage dressing from scratch. I also make a “famous deviled egg!!” We’ll have to swap secrets!! 💕
