Behind the beauty and Bhaava richness that we hear, there is an incredibly dedicated Tapasya (there is no equivalent for this word) that we cannot see but can only deduce!! This is so wonderful!! I never thought Pooriya Dhanashri can be played on the Bansuri! It feels so divine to be proven wrong! Thank you for this gift.
"It is quite visible from Milind Ji’s performances that he plays Ragas which are generally not played on flute. It is a feast to listen to Ragas like Shuddha Kalyan, Puriya Dhanashree on flute which are generally played on string instruments. As one can imagine, the task is not that easy, I would say, it is not at all easy. Flute is a very different kind of instrument as compared to string instrument where the show is managed by artist’s breath. Before this, I had listened to such ‘non flute’ Ragas being performed on flute but one could easily make out that something is missing and not fitting. When I gave a try to Milind Sheorey’s rendering, there was nothing missing. It had superb blend of stable breath, correct approach to play the notes, immense continuity." Absolute divine....3 things draws more attention 1) at 00.13.00 sweet Andolan...2) at 00.31.02 difficult in bansuri plying, glide (meend) from lower 'Ni to middle 'Ni' and 3) at 00.37.03 sweet jhala. Great playing...
@ghughalvideos Thanks for the post.It is a simple flute with a hole under the thumb for Pa note and a key like thing under the little finger of right hand to play teevra Ma

Where can I buy such key for E bass bansuri?
@@borisivanov6274 You can make yourself by using a pad under a piece of bamboo of the same diameter and a small hacksaw blade as a spring
devine just devine i am not expert sir but i want to ask you is it played in E??
yes i ve played in E
Isnt this madhyam and not vilambit at the first composition?
Could'nt understand your question..please make it simple
When you beginning the composition at 5.50, isnt this madhyam tempo and not vilambit tempo? Or is it just fillers done by the tabla player? :)
oh..this is vilamit Ektaal.Tabla player is playing it with the fillers..
Ah! Thanks :) Great work, keep it up!
