I've always enjoyed your youtube videos, especially your yearly craftroom tours. Your room is lovely, fresh and bright, and so well organised. I must admit to buying the odd item after watching your videos, the last one being one of those fold down paint/water pots, which is so useful and takes so little space, and those Hogma shelves for the raskog trolley which is great for creating extra space. Happy crafting.

Thank you so much for your kind comment, Karen. The desks were purchased from www.storage4crafts.co.uk although sadly, they do not sell them anymore, sorry. I got them for the very reason you state, they are very deep - 71cms. I can have storage on top of my desk but still have workspace. Thank you for watching.

I enjoyed watching your tour. I can't imagine how you did it My craft room is bigger than yours a little bit. How did you start? My room is a mess with things all over the place. Please give me some advice. I think maybe I should just clear the entire room and start from scratch what do you think?

Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment. Clearing the whole room and starting from scratch is a good idea. As you add products back in, ask yourself if you will still use it and if not, purge it. Having said that, my room did not start out like this. It has progressed and adapted throughout the years. I actually have some old photos over on my blog here if you would like to see - www.cardgrotto.com/p/craft-room.html as the years have gone on I have found new items of furniture that work well for my supplies and the space I have. I do think craft room storage is always a work in progress. Good luck!

I didn’t think anybody had a smaller craft room than me. The difference is yours is so nice and organized and mine is not. Where did you get those mint colored dividers that are in your stamp and die bins? Or did you create them yourself. I love the cabinets you have with the really skinny drawers where you store your ink cubes. Very nice craft room.

Fantastic use of space, Michelle! Such a lovely craft room. I chuckled at the end seeing the large Tim Holtz paper trimmer. Mine is in a closet. The thing is so big there's nowhere practical for me to store it. Where did you find the cardstock tab dividers? Those are fantastic!

Thank you so much, Adelle. That is the only thing in my room that I have never been able to find a home for. I love it and use it all the time but it’s annoying to store! I’m glad I’m not the only one. The dividers? The ones I use for my cardstock? They are BCW Magazine Dividers from Amazon. The aqua ones? I cut them from Lawn Fawn Mermaid cardstock and laminated them. Thanks so much for watching!

@@MichelleShortTheCardGrotto Thanks, Michelle! I meant the white ones. Found them on Amazon last night and they want $21 for 25 dividers. Did the math as I have over 350 colors of cardstock. Eeeeesh. I'll hold out on that for a bit. LOL. (I'm a cardstock "hoor") 😂
I do the exact same thing you do for your aqua dividers. I chose a mint color from Papertrey Ink. They sell 50-packs for $11. Cannot beat the price of their cardstock and it's fantastic cardstock. Thanks again for the info, and happy new year my friend!

@@adelleemery6424 sorry, I realised afterward it was the white ones. They are very expensive, even more expensive here! I managed to get them when they were down in price a bit but still a lot of money. If you have a lot of cardstock, it’s a huge investment. I love PTI cardstock and use their white but it’s so expensive to ship to the UK. Glad you can get it cheaper though as it’s fantastic quality and good value without the shipping cost. Wishing you a fantastic 2022!

Love watching your craft room tours... have you ever done a tutorial on how you make your organizing labels etc. For example, your stamp storage teal/light blue front organizers... are those just Cardstock with rounded corners? Unfortunately, things are available at your IKEA that either aren't available or are Out Of Stock at my IKEA.
