Really not terribly informative as a comparison. Having had extensive experience of all three of these instruments, having successively owned all three (the 665 going to my church when I decided to upgrade to the 695). The CLP series are designed as replacements for an acoustic piano, with the 695 being an outstanding piano having some extra features like the 665, but a significant improvement in quality (in every aspect), commensurate with the price difference. Both of these are intended for the performer who principally wants a piano. The CVP709GP is an instrument for the person who wants the features of a good piano PLUS the features of an arranger keyboard. As a piano it's good, but not as good either in timbre or touch as the CLP695. But it offers arranger keyboard features rather similar to Genos, although not as good as the Genos. It's the most expensive instrument in this lineup (money can be saved by purchasing the non-GP console version), and for someone wanting a good piano and a good arranger keyboard in the one console instrument, this is good value. Much cheaper than buying a separate Genos and CLP695 to get the absolute best of Yamaha's digital offerings, and without a huge sacrifice in performance in either guise, along with a big saving in space. But for the serious pianist, its the CLP pianos that should be explored, with the 665 providing a compromise if the 695 can't be afforded.

Noted. This was definitely more of an overview of the differences between models. Thanks for watching!

Learned more reading this in 30 secs, than the video for 20 mins. The title for this video is incorrect. Its an overview of the 3 pianos and not a comparison. In fact, there is little to no comparison. Nevertheless, its a great overview video. Thanks.

Hit the nail on the head, Bryan! I just purchased the CLP-695 this morning and it’ll be delivered this Saturday.
Cannot wait! I’m a third year piano student studying classical piano and this is a great investment.

@@debhaax You won't regret it! I'm at the other end of the journey and have recently returned to serious practice now that I have the time (my playing had gotten very slack and had developed bad habits). More than ever, the quality of this piano is a delight. Enjoy your investment, it will give years of pleasure and musical rewards. (Hmm, starting to sound like a Yamaha salesperson - I'm not!)

this Texan accent is made to pronounce "Yamaha". It sounds like "Yawmohaw", fantastic! I just hear John Wayne shouting at the bad guy "if you touch my Yawmohaw, I'll shove my sixshooter in your keister". If only they had Yawmohaws in the saloons of the wild west.

    Shouldn’t have been 509, 609, and 709?

In this video, we showed the differences between currently available models to help people decide which might be the best fit. 509, 609 and 709 are updated versions of the same model. They are actually producing the 809 now.
