That voice! I've always been amazed at his vocals listening to Bobby bland since I was a child born in the mid-fifties and even now at this stage in my life I have even more appreciation of his gift of music and his Musical Arrangements is far superior to any blues singer I've ever heard!
The Father of the Blues. He can't move you, no one can. This brother had a powerhouse of a voice. I saw him and BB King twice in Baltimore at The Lyric Theater and the Myerhoff. No one delivers the notes like he can. Rest in peace both of my guys. I'll always love you both forever..

One of my all time favorites Blues Singers. Heard him as a child at my uncles "Juke Joint" in Georgia. Even at that tender age, it was something about that voice that captivated me. I never forgot it and as I matured bought his records. Didn't get a chance to see him in person until I was in my early forties and living in the DMV. Every time I heard he was in DC or the Virginia area I went to see him. Even as he aged he never let his fans down. The consummate performer. Read his biography online and he lived the life he sung about. so glad I lived during that time. He really could turn and wring out a phrase and until you felt the heart ache or longing. Loved his talent! Still listen to him today and have him on my iPhone playlist. Nothing like cruising along in my muscle sports car listening to Bobby Bland!
