I don't know if i got gerd but I feel scared eating anything because sometimes I feel severe cramps when I eat, I throw it up to feel better. It's very difficult doing anything, I cant run for more than a minute I feel winded. I don't know how long I've been feeling like this. I say maybe this specific feeling 4 months but this whole stomach problems 2 years I just can't afford to go to the doctor, I'm scared of going and getting rejected.

My chest and stomach burn everyday even if I take in the Med ( pepcid) my doctor prescribed for me. At night, I sleep sound but in the day my chest and stomach burn throughout. I am currently taking Pepcid 20mg. I take 1 in the morning and 1 in the night before sleeping. I also carefully watch my diet. Is there any help?

Try the Apple cider vinegar (the one with the mother in it) & lemon juice method. 2 table spoons of acv, squeeze of fresh lemon & 1.5 cups of water.
I have been drinking it for 2 weeks and I feel so much better! Taking probiotics also helps to get to the root cause of the issue (i take pro bio 7).
Please advise me because I am confused about my strange symptoms. I don't know if silent reflux is caused by esophageal reflux. Do you feel something like air going up from the chest to the throat, and sometimes something walking in the chest like air going up and down, sometimes like ants walking in the left chest, and sometimes like a vibrating phone and pain. The middle of the chest, head and other symptoms are normal and do not concern me, but the first symptoms caused me confusion

Aside from the diet, the best thing I've done for GERD is to buy an adjustable lifestyle bed and sleep in a sitting up position. At least now I can sleep through the night with the reflux waking me up all the time. I am diet adherent, and cannot tolerate the meds (they make me worse, not better). The reflux is worse at night vs the day. The only thing that I can think of is that while sleeping the nervous system is operating differently and the LES loses some tone (ie., it relaxes more). I read somewhere that the lower tone at night while sleeping may also occur because there is less swallowing. Terrible disease with poor QoL. I wonder if there is any research in this area, because the management options are considerably lacking.
I have a feeling of burning what is the best medicine
I always quit eating at 6 PM every night and go to bed at 11 PM. I don't eat large meals at dinner and I don't have any caffeine after noon. I never drink alcohol and I don't smoke. I still have acid reflux. Anything I eat or drink in the morning (like tea or coffee) gives me A.R. right around 8:30 PM. and keeps affecting me all night.
Have you found anything that helps? I have that same exact problem.
@@keniasalgado4570 My best advise is you have to manage this condition with meds and diet the best you can or it will end up killing you. I found out recently that almond milk contains calcium carbonate which is the main ingredient in Tums. My best advice is you have to manage this condition with meds and diet the best you can. I am now trying ACV and HCL pills and staying away from chocolate, soda, tea, coffee onions, garlic and oranges and a lot of other foods. God, this ain't easy.

@@keniasalgado4570 The meds are risky. I try to not stay away from them but sometimes you just need them. When you quit them you get a rebound reflux.

I was treated for H. Peiorli . Now I’ve been throwing up what feels like acid. I had a cup of coffee and it hurt me so bad! I felt like my chest was on fire
They say coffee is good for you but I think it causes esophageal cancer.

I’m confused. I thought a weak valve was caused by weak stomach acid which then leaked up. When acid is at the correct PH the valve works correctly. Surely then taking PPI is treating the symptoms NOT fixing the problem?

I'm with the understanding that the LES valve can become weak, & if that's the case the stomach acid can splash up through that opening & into the esophagus. I don't know how the PH value would determine the leaking up or not. Acid is acid...

bro i took medicines for this but i dont take it right now..my symptoms are better(not much) but not cured , i use licorice powder and drink eat after lunch, but i dont take it now, i have find some solutions and i will try this asap and i share with you so u can try and share your experience.
@@Mxteozx @natiania lenan guys i have some solutions ,i research and find on youtube videos, many people has cured his gerd,h pylori, ulcers and reflux ..i havnt try this yet but i will try this asap. use mastic gum(500mg to 1000g daily dosage) 15 days to 1 month and with cabbage juice in empty stomach many people cured with this herbs.i think everyone should try this and share your experience and i will also share this if i get good results..and if u can afford manuka honey then u can use it aswell ...sorry for my english

I did nothing just visited to gastroentrologist he prescribed some antiacids but after that symptoms came back plus I avoid dairy products and fatty foods citrus foods ..

@@stretchyfingers yeah changing my diet is what helps the most. Just look up foods to avoid with gerd. It sucks but once u do it for about a month you will feel better and then slowly comeback to the foods u love. It sucks but it will get better.

Camomile, herbal tea but not. Mint variety. I find milkshakes help. But stress is a big cause, so stay relaxed and a healthy weight.

As long as needed, but try to take little as possible imo.

dont eat grains and make sure everything u eat is alkaline not acidic and make sure ur water is on the not acidic side more alkaline

It’s more likely to be a symptom of heart problems than a cause. The Oesophagus is usually the hardest hit I believe.

How you can pretty much tell if it's heartburn, or a heart problem is...if you move to another position, & you get relief, chances are it's not a heart issue, but a GERD problem. OR if you take an antacid & the pain goes away...that's not cardiac. Believe it or not, cold water from the fridge really helps when I get a GERD attack. Gaviscon does it too., but I shouldn't be having to live as I do. See my blurb.

Eat some red apples for a couple of days and you'll get rid of acid reflux.
I've been eating red apples every day for years and still have GERD. So many things I can't eat.
Not necessarily!! Raw apples aren't recommended, especially with the skin on.
