Like I get there are a bunch of fake batmen and the mob/scarecrow are probably fixated on identifying the right one and/or in panic mode when they're realizing what's about to happen but like...they really just let some dude in a costume stroll through and throw one of their guys (who seemingly didn't even try to fight back) off a parking garage ramp.
I love how when the fakes are shooting up the mobsters there isn’t any music and the theme isn’t heard in the soundtrack until the real Batman shows up. It sort of reminds me of the scene in Jaws when the little kids are pretending to be the shark. Dealer: These tangerines are rotten
Scarecrow: You don’t like my tangerines, then you can buy them from someone else, assuming that the Batman hasn’t eaten them all
Then I'll switch to nectarines!
1:40 That mook shot a bulletproof tank that didn't even get a scratch and then grinned like he did a good job. This is why you're a goon buddy
The music at 2:35 always gives me goosebumps
Wich song is That
The one thing that always gets me about this scene is how casual everyone is about how at 1:02 one of the fake batmen just...threw a dude off the ramp? Like I get there are a bunch of fake batmen and the mob/scarecrow are probably fixated on identifying the right one and/or in panic mode when they're realizing what's about to happen but like...they really just let some dude in a costume stroll through and throw one of their guys (who seemingly didn't even try to fight back) off a parking garage ramp.
That theme when he shows up is badass
Do you see Scarecrow's head after Batman lands on the van??
Andre Malachi Ward lmao that shit got smashed
2:20 opening a can of soup be like
I love how when the fakes are shooting up the mobsters there isn’t any music and the theme isn’t heard in the soundtrack until the real Batman shows up. It sort of reminds me of the scene in Jaws when the little kids are pretending to be the shark. They purposely left out the theme because it was a clever way of hinting to the audience early on that something was off about the scene.
I was like "What? Thats the best entrance Batman? Shame."
But when the theme didn't kick in and he drew his gun, I then knew he's not the real batman! Caught me off guard when I first saw that moment. :)
Love this scene, batsuit looks amazing, my personal favourite!!!
I love that this scene is a tribute to American Psycho Chainsaw scene xd
Best freakin batman ever
The way they shoot Batmobile thinking it's gonna even affect the car LOL
was that cillian?
yep! :)
Yes
3:04 In fact, you may not know this because Batman just passed it on as a joke, but
Brian's line "what's the difference between you and me" has a huge impact on Batman's identity. In other words, he and Brian are just vigilantes.
I do like how Scarecrow is an antagonist in all three films.
Wow finally a scene I don’t remember / doesn’t frequently come up as I felt I’d watched most of the movie in different clips
2:43 Christian Bale did similar thing in American psycho.
😹
phenomenal fighting
The Dark Knight vs Gangsters vs Batmans on a Budget.
Always liked how they used the bat signal in all three movies..especially in this one,it made the GCPD cops happy and it terrified GOTHAM's criminals
Best first Batman scene in the 2nd installment. Kudos to Christopher Nolan
1:17 Scarecrow trying to get to the van is hilarious
He just wants to gtfo
Batman learned how to time the drop on the car from Patrick Bateman throwing that chainsaw to hit the woman running down the stairs :O
2:33 The Dark Knight Rises
(Not my comment btw, I just thought it was funny lmao.)
No one is mentioning how the actor who plays Scarecrow is Jim in 28 Days Later.
Well he's a pretty famous actor not just jim from 28DL.Btw,i love that movie
