Your goofy commentary is the primary reason I've continued watching all these years, but it's all good. Anyone commenting you should shut your mouth doesn't get the genius of your improv, so while they are entitled to their opinion, they can also just go watch this on some other channel and shut the hell up.

For all those wondering yes that’s Mark Meer the voice actor for Shephard in Mass Effect. You see long before this mod was halfway thru Mark had said he enjoyed the Shoddycast series and even accepted the offer and wanted to help voice this mod.

It's really cool to see the Storyteller still around in some form these days.
I did the in-game cinematics and post editing for the series back in the day and my god it seems like an eternity since I was involved with all that. I actually put Al in the Storyteller series in Season 3 episode 12 hahaha, good times. Although I wasn't involved specifically in the production of this mod, it's nice to see Al playing through it.

@@PauaP Working on Storyteller was my first job right out of high school haha. I'm really glad I got the opportunity to work on something like that which is still appreciated today. I go back a few times a year and rewatch the entire series out of nostalgia.
I hope that we get another season thanks to all the content and lore material offered by Fallout 76. I understand that the man behind the storyteller is going through some tough times, but this mod gives me hope for a continuation of the series in some form.

Thank you Al for putting this up. It's both great and sad to see The Storyteller again, being reminded of the days he brought us lore, and pretty much knowing this is one of the last pieces of Shoddycast we will see from them, kind of ironically finding the last words of a person in the wasteland in a holotape.

Bethesda needs to hire this narrator for the next game. At this point I associate his voice, inflection and style to this universe even more than Ron Perlman and I did not think that possible.
Always loved you al, I see why you went without commentary and think it's cool the way you do cinematic scenes despite being player cammed this time. Don't listen to anyone telling you to shut up though; your personality is at least 80% of the video content(damn good content too!) and 20% the mods or games you decide to play and record for us. My point being is that while maybe you see the bad ones more promptly, that you will see here that there are many many more people who love your voice and commentary. I remember bonding with a friend my first year at a new high school 6 years ago, really made it less awkward the first few weeks to have someone to talk to. But I also really think you deserve a bigger reputation for the dedication, heart, and humor that you bring to CZcams and by a huge margin the Bethesda mod community. Apologies for stinking up your comment section but felt you needed a little admiration. Keep it up man, while I don't watch that often anytime I revisit Fallout or NV especially; you and cuddlesworth are in my mind and I'll promise to watch more videos to give you atleast the views that are in my power. Funny how they discuss the FEV when in the cut content for Fallout 4, the BoS were going to develop a stabilization agent for the FEV capable of “curing” super mutants to the extent that they became Super Soldiers as tall as a suit of standard issue power armor, loyal, and intelligent.
Actually now that I think of it, perhaps it was part of some cut quest portion with Virgil where you would convince him to join the BoS.

@@mikecampos1193 Not their way? It was back during development when Fallout 4’s BoS was going to recruit ghouls for handling recon in highly radiated zones. Back when the BoS of Fallout 4 was planned to have a scavenger style overlaying their military design. They would take who they could get. Even Maxson was more pro-rebuilding society in that version, before it got scrapped.
@@hiddendesire3076 What happened? The 2-Dimensional heelturn into Power Armored nazis was one of the biggest reasons I hated the story in Fallout 4. Whose bright idea was it to scrap such a reasonable part of their character?...

The Brotherhood of Steel are -supposed-to be more militant and anti-outsider. Like the brotherhood outcasts in fallout 3 and the Mojave chapter. Anything different us outside of the norm for them, lorewise.

Thank you for uploading this. When I found out about this mod I was excited to see a continuation of the old Storyteller movie concept from years back. Sadly I can't play the mod since I own Fallout 4 on PS4. I have to say I did enjoy watching this.

When these scientist said that they were just following orders by the Washington that sounded to me that the Washington is the enclave and this is where mutants are born when maxson's team trying to shut it down and destroys the place.

I couldn't get the mod working but wanted it for roleplay reasons so sitting and watching is good enough.
Don't think I have ever watched one of your videos where you play as a "silent protagonist", but this was pretty cool. Shoddycast's and Unoctium's work, as always top notch and your play through highlighted the very different nature of this MOD and took the Storyteller narrative to it's next level. This was a amazing mod especially for people who didn't play fallout 1 and 2 it gives a better understanding of the brother hood

Wow, Al I haven't watched your videos since the early 2010s, but it's nice to see you're still going strong. I'm also amazed at the quality of mod voice acting these days, I remember when the top tier was amateurish and acceptable at that.
