If they weren’t a big deal, then Thanos could’ve “easily” used the space stone to take down the others and take the time stone off ancient one and get the reality stone through Odin and the bifrost. His mission would’ve been accomplished many years in advance if he was willing to fight Odin and ancient one
Honestly. My main gripe (at least with the modern MCU) is that it feels like no story can ever be self-contained anymore. Like. Say, for example, you wanna watch Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. You'd have to have watched wandavision, spider-man no way home or any other show/ movies that deal with the multiverse, or else half the story literally makes no sense because the movie expects you to know about all of the shit that happened in other media between characters you may not even care about. And it always feels like every movie needs to set up like 20 others during it's runtime. And yes. Cameos are cool, but it genuinely gets exhausting at times. Just like how not every movie needs to have a world ending threat (which is also a gripe I have with the newer ones), not every single movie or show needs to set up a 100 different moives or shows. You NEED to have smaller, more self-contained stories if you want the big ones to feel like they actually matter.

Probably will be outdated in a couple of months, but regarding Thanos: Titan Consumed at around 52:00, I've heard a theory that the reason why the novel is not canon to the MCU, despite the fact that the book was announced to be canon, was due to the fact that there would have been contradicting information regarding the Mind Stone, as in the novel, Thanos got the stone from a wizard, with people speculating that Eternals or a future project will have a different explanation for the former location of the Mind Stone. I actually bought the lego giant man set right before watching Civil War. I was killing time at a store before going in to the cinema and saw it for the fist time, thought it was cool but it hadn’t cross my mind that it could be a spoiler. I love your content, but I feel like there was an issue with the sound in this vid. Like every new subject started out really quiet and then got progressively louder. It wasn't super obvious, but for someone like me who is really hard of hearing, it was difficult to get through because I was having to adjust the volume constantly.

As the actor for Colleen said, only Cox was able to survive the MCU Netflix purge, he was told early on that he'd be brought back for feature films. But Jessica Henwick was instead asked which of the two characters she would like to play, Colleen, or her Shang-Chi role. It does appear that the Defenders shows are non-canon to the MCU now.
I think they should establish the Ancient One has managed to live for so long because they've lived as different races throughout time and that Tilda Swinton's version was their final one.

Probably will be outdated in a couple of months, but regarding Thanos: Titan Consumed at around 52:00, I've heard a theory that the reason why the novel is not canon to the MCU, despite the fact that the book was announced to be canon, was due to the fact that there would have been contradicting information regarding the Mind Stone, as in the novel, Thanos got the stone from a wizard, with people speculating that Eternals or a future project will have a different explanation for the former location of the Mind Stone. Just thought that was interesting to share, also, great video btw.
I actually bought the lego giant man set right before watching Civil War. I was killing time at a store before going in to the cinema and saw it for the fist time, thought it was cool but it hadn’t cross my mind that it could be a spoiler. I didn’t made the connection until watching the airport scene and thinking “wait is Antman going to…” and then Giantman appearing and blowing my mind.

I watched it all like 7 hours ago. Quite the good video, and on the usual level of quality for your channel, which would be high. I learnt some stuff about the MCU I never knew, and the final layer segment you always have where you play the role of a character related to the franchise you talked about didn't disappoint, as always. I'm impressed at how short the turnout for these long icebergs is, for their quality. I suggest that one day, you should cover the Metal Gear Solid iceberg someone made, as it's an interesting iceberg to read.

The idea of an Edgar Wright Antman would have been incredible and as much as I love what we got I would still love to see it.
I think some of his ideas remained though. Like Luis doing his storytelling where he voices all the characters- that feels very Edgar wright to me.

I love your content, but I feel like there was an issue with the sound in this vid. Like every new subject started out really quiet and then got progressively louder. It wasn't super obvious, but for someone like me who is really hard of hearing, it was difficult to get through because I was having to adjust the volume constantly.

Yet people treat him like he's on the same level as Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson, or Marlon Brando. Those were legendary actors. In 20 years, who's really going to even know who Chadwick Boseman was?
Probably bait but w/e. He was an extremely good actor who was important to the African American community for a variety of reasons. Also he seems to have been a genuinely good person and died far too young. People will remember Boseman as a great actor who could’ve done even more incredible work who tragically passed away.

This didn't age well. Not only has Inhumans already been retconned, but so will most of the Defenders series. As the actor for Colleen said, only Cox was able to survive the MCU Netflix purge, he was told early on that he'd be brought back for feature films. But Jessica Henwick was instead asked which of the two characters she would like to play, Colleen, or her Shang-Chi role. It does appear that the Defenders shows are non-canon to the MCU now.
