Thanks for making this video. So many people donât understand why this plant doesnât stay looking as nice as when they bought it. Thank you đ
Of course! Yes, they always go a bit scraggly and it's totally normal, just need a good haircut every so often.
Zebrina is also known as matalĂ and used in the beverage agua de matalĂ in Tabasco, Mexico. Supposed to be good for your kidneys.
That's so cool! Thanks for the fun fact đ
I have hundreds of them now since so easy to propagate! I found a piece of a fuzzy one years ago at an outdoor flower market and rooted it in water, now I have tons. I never worry about the âcallousâ. I trim off all of the lower leaves, Stick them in water and roots form from where the leaves were removed. That ânanoukâ one I bought at a garden shoppe....it had the spiked dark purple one on the center....I knew they were different plants, but wasnât aware they were both trdescatia...very interesting plants.....TYFS â€ïžđŠđ
Yes! They are the easiest ever... honestly some of the fastest plants to propagate and they just do better from getting chopped and re-grown. There's also so many different types. They're great!
Thank you for your knowledge. Iâm new at house plants. Iâm even trying to grow succulents. Most have died but I have 2 that are hanging on. Thanks to your video on succulents.
Keep up the good work.
paid dearly for my tradescantia nanouk at a local shop... before i found your channel! one of my favorites anyway. thanks for this video
They're so beautiful and luckily their upkeep is easy, and easy to make more plants for next time! Fun fact, did you know that Nanouk are technically copyright protected? They are a cultivar, so technically you're not allowed to cut them and re-sell... but you can definitely make more for yourself!
It is so expensive in Cali you gotta pick up Wandering Jew clippings.
Thank you!!!
Youâre welcome! đ

Awww.... thanks so much!
Hey, can we get an update on your poinsettia? I am curious on the development.
Yes! I actually posted an update a few months ago, linked here: czcams.com/video/5YnkZ_HDwb4/video.htmlsi=hkwOp71CRcslCVMj&t=754

Hi! Good to hear from you đ
I recently planted a new zebrina and all of my stems are standing straight up. đ
My Sebring died I was unable to keep it alive
Oh no! Theyâre usually pretty easy care. Itâs possible that it was already half dead at the growers unfortunately. If you find theyâre looking bad sometimes itâs best to cut it back and re-propagate.
