@@alkasoli4002 . Well it all depends on the kind of farming and the focus of the farmer, doesn't it. Renenerative farming, no till, permaculture, agroforestery systems... Understanding natural systems and working with instead of against it is certainly possible and the way of the future. I mean, where did yóur food come from? Yóu benefit!

I'm afraid their trees won't make it too long if they continue to raise crops this close to them, they should've left patches of grass just around the tree and made their beds in the rest of the space. That way they would still use the shade without putting the trees in danger.

I actually got that idea when I noticed my tomato plants growing in the terrace garden that gets too much sun and water produces good number of big tomatoes. But it's flavour and taste isn't so great .
The one grown in the balcony gave tasty but few small ones cause it received too little sun .
Then I thought maybe the reason most of the store bought tomatoes here in India are not so great . Then I got the idea that growing tomato plants with leguminous trees spaced scarcely in farms should help .
      So it's called forest farming .. I see .

Thank you for this wonderful and inspiring Video of this beautiful little farm. I like the setting in an old orchard, as we are trying to establish a diverse orchard with annual crops this season. Looking forward to next week!

Wow Moreno, it's so amazing how far you've come in such a short amount of time, truely inspirational. My wife and I have just put in an offer to purchase a neglected home on an overgrown 3000sqm piece of land. Feeling this dream is about to come true :)

Bon travail mon ami, vraiment un beau jardin/petite ferme. Here in Australia we have had 10 40c plus days this and the tomatoes, zucchini and cucumber were cooking on the vines! I have tried growing vegies in my orchard but I found that during summer the trees were taking too much of the water and nutrients. The winter garden was abundant when the trees were dormant so I moved the main vegetables out into one of the river paddocks.. unfortunately often exposed to our harsh summer sun. Maybe your quick green cropping is the answer?
By the way, I was talking to an elderly French market gardener near Angers in the Loire, and she said the perfectly balanced garden is one third vegetables, one third flowers and one third trees. And her tomatoes...sacre bleu!..it was like eating a tender steak. J'adore la France! Bon chance a vous et la famille.

here in Austria we had this year similar Problems our Tomatoes got so hard damaged by heat that we had to give them into waste and our potatoes nearly died in early july because it was not raining only with giving them water with an liquid manure sprayer we was able to save them till rain was comming
