Yeah for 20 bucks this is a lot of content already, and now this giant update arrives. Im practicly forced to buy the dlc to support these devs

Technically this game is also unfinished since its still in early access, but yeah at least its not $70.
This is more content than Redfail will ever have. And for a 5th the price

V Rising is one of the best small studio releases of the last decade, up there with Grounded. Looking forward to the 17th!

Is this more action-based like Gauntlet or more RPG based like Diablo?
More survival like Ark and Conan. But far more progression based. Those castles at the beginning are player made bases.
It's a light survival crafter, but with a combat system very close to that of a MMOBA.
@@TheDigitalWatcher The combat system is actually from their previous MOBA title.
Its an open world arpg, with survival elements, base building, possibility of pve or PvEvP experience. Sandbox stuff community servers where its just pure arena combat (Battlerite inside V rising)

@@Shadowlet Yeah that's what the devs are calling it. It's an expansion level content update. New zone, revamped current zones, new systems, revamped old systems. It's MASSIVE, and the reason why they've been almost radio silent except minor patches until about 2 months ago.
It's a free update, btw.

you know you can just play on your own server where nothing ever decays lol, even then acquiring blood essence to feed the heart isn't hard. You can feed it to last like 13 days lol, but again thats only on some servers..
You know that tier 3 castle can hold almost 2 weeks without anybody in right ?

People have been playing it on the steamdeck, just no official support yet. Devs busy with developing the game in early access first

In the game, that at the minimum, that at the maximum the same FPS. Optimization directly splashes from all the cracks. And yet they still can’t get all the words to be translated into the localization file, you write them a bug report, but they don’t even read it.

Its an update, just called expansion since its reworking and adding a lot
Because the main game is actually finished. It is still on early access because they won't have to commit with the current state of the game.

@@leoleo1035its far from finished there's not even an endgame yet. Their whole idea of becoming dracula, the giant crater in dunley being inaccessible dracula castle ruins. The shadow region east. Next to the regular dev blogs with info on what they're working on. Just cope its a polished early access lol, still very flawed and unfinished

@@leighsherval1023 It seems like you've never played an early access game. This "Expansion" was intended to be part of the final game when it is finished, after this they have planned one more that will come along with the official launch of the game
