- Gloucester Tall Ships festival 2022, was back again during the Jubilee bank holiday here in the UK. Thousands of people descended on Gloucester docks, to see not only the Tall ships themselves, but the attractions the Festival had going on all around. We took a wander around the famous docks in Gloucester and also browsed the myriad of market stalls that had everything you could want to buy.

Very nice tour. Something very romantic about the tall ships, not sure why. Perhaps it is all the lovely woodwork or the freedom they afford. Looks like the crowds survived Watto!

Loved the gentle rain at the beginning and the marching music you chose that went with this wander! Looks like the people were out on vengeance after a 2-year pandemic. I’m glad you enjoyed this glimpse at the festival here in Glos vegas. Some of the apartments are selling for half a mil at the moment so not the cheapest place to live. It was great to see everyone back out enjoying it. Dean is Kim’s Son. We all deffo did have good day seeing these wonderful ships. As always thanks so much for supporting the channel. Love "La Malouine " beautiful ship 🤩 I would love seeing this festival …we did have one here in Quebec a few years ago and made a video of it . At 7:49 that the HMS Victory a beautiful boat that my older brother did a scaled replica in the late 60’s it was amazing

Music was captivating too, good choice. Love the tour, the walk, the scenery, market stalls. Looks like so much fun. The waterfront actually reminds me of Hobart, Tasmania.

This looks like such a great event to experience, I love all the tall ships. There's something fantastic about an old wooden sailing ship, probably not that great when sailing around the world in the 19th century! Wonderful too that the docks area has been regenerated, there's nothing sadder than seeing abandoned and vandalised buildings where there was once a thriving industry.

I love seeing these tall ships! Sometimes we get them coming through our canal or sitting out in the water between Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Beautiful festival! I need one of those boat costumes for next halloween haha :)

What a great festival! Tall ship festival looks very popular. Like Kim's pink hair. There are so many boats there, but they aren't all tall. Love that most are old sailing ships with amazing masts. There are lovely old buildings all around. Great pirate outfits on those people. That couple dressed up as the boat were cool too.

Aw what a shame about the weather and yes, typical Bank Holiday. I remember the Tall Ships being in Whitby, a number of years ago and they were awesome, we loved seeing them, so real nice to see them again. Good to see the weather did not stop people coming down and supporting this great event, they deserve to be seen, especially by the kids. Haha the walking ship with the two people in was brilliant lol! Looked like a great day out for all three of you and I bet those real ales went down a treat, cheers Alan

Hi and thanks for coming along. It was great to see the festival back again. Boarding passes can be purchased in advance £5 per person and this allows you to go in all of the ships for a good look. Loved visiting the "Tall Ships Festival" with you Watto and Kim! So many beautiful ships and such a festive atmosphere. Loved the Harbor area and really would love to live in a converted warehouse condo. That's always intrigued me. Thanks so much for bringing us along.

Glad the rain stopped. Sucha. shame for the organisation when the weather lets them down! Just love the look of those tall ships. Especially when the put their sails up when out to sea.
