Really loved this video bro. I have a 2013 IPL and I really want to get it tuned but I don't want to blow my motor. What parts would you reccomend getting before a tune?
Defidently get test pipes and an exhaust. Makes the tune 1000 percent more worth it. Other than that maybe intakes but that’s never required. You can even tune a car bone stock lol
You definitely shouldn’t blow it but you’ll blow some money for little gains. These motors shine with boost

I know this might be a dumb question but what is that hissing noise cause I have the same noise lol. 12 G37xs tuned with test pipes, ppe long tube headers and ark exhaust set up.
Good question, mines stock except k&n typhoon intakes + muffler delete. I have this sound pretty bad, you don’t really hear it inside the cabin unless you have the windows down. You do hear it once the rpm’s get near redline though pretty loud but from outside the car it makes that sound a lot more. I thought it was the intakes but if you don’t even have those then idk anymore.
Vq hiss forgot what causes it if its the exhaust or the engine in general, u can look up vq hiss
Hiss sound usually is from serpentine belts, but only if you open the hood and put your ear by it. However if you can step out your car while it's on and you hear a hiss sound, that my friend is a vacuum leak somewhere 😬

I have a 2013 g37 and wanna get a tune how much was yours?
Tune is about $700. If you do a custom tune with dyno time it’s maybe $1200 when it’s all said and done.
Custom tune is always the way to go & if you want the best setup I recommend running at least E50 on a custom tune. Really woke my 6 speed g37 up.

im stuck between getting a g37 coupe or a 335i coupe manual ofc rwd to but idk what i like more
U won’t regret the g in a stick if u want reliability go for the g
if you want to be fast go with the 335 if you want reliability go with the g

As someone who owned both id say get an f30 335i sedan or a 435i coupe. Reliability wasn’t an issue with the N55 if you do preventive maintenance and a few upgrades like charge pipe and oil cooler. I’d also recommend a good fat intercooler to keep it cold in the engine bay.

@@sethwoodward5515 I bought test pipes from them and they had a crack in the most random spot. & their welds are mid tbh. it’s the cheapest exhaust you can buy other than eBay. Nothing against them. I have a tomei on my black g and an isr on my drift g35. It’s a solid “budget” exhaust
@@sethwoodward5515 go look at ppe’s welds and overall build quality. Also they offer different coatings on the headers. They just have better R&D that’s why you pay 1000+ for headers

@@official_Tonii22 don’t go with AWD unless you live in the northern states and try to get one in a manual. With a little patience you will find one it will be worth it in the end. Automatic cars get boring after a few months
