@@FARMOORKOI I am not that convinced it is a benefit. Looking at several UK pond channels and comparing to my situation. I have never heated my pond, nor I have never had to treat my fish for any patogens. Maybe keeping fish from temperate regions in temperate conditions is better? I do not know, I am not an expert. All I know is that heating a pond up here would get me bacrupt in one yesr just as spending money on expensive treatments would do. But on the other hand, my fish never grow bigger than 70 cm no matter how much I feed. Maybe expensive electrical bills and medications is the price one have to pay to get the big ones, I do not know.😀👍

I cannot believe you are talking about temperatures above 20c in april! My pond is at 8 right now and the koi is just starting to get active.😄👍
