    Judge got me this same exact way. He threw an unplanned curve ball at me. My dumb ass said id be clean, knowing damn well i was coked out of my mind. Had a sweetheart plea deal thrown out. Hsd to do 17 weeks in county, then mandated to 6 months of inpatient rehab. Looking back, thank GOD it all happened how it did. Cause i would had been dead years ago. Now im sober from cocaine snd heroin for several years! Judge was Gerald Council in Mercer County NJ court in Trenton, New Jersey.

      @mikeohandley1922 Před 7 měsíci

      @@mindfuqq -Drugs, like alcohol, make people do stupid things that they normally wouldn't do sober. The public wants laws curbing use of drugs. If they didn't, there wouldn't be laws against it. Even in states that have made it illegal to use weed, it's still illegal to use pot while you are driving because it can affect some folks like alcohol affects them. People on drugs lose control of their car, they fall asleep at the wheel, they weave all over the road endangering pedestrians walking alongside those roads and those in other automobiles. Some people on dope gain the courage to rob or harm others - something they might not ever consider doing had they been sober. The public expresses a concern to legislators and legislators react by passing laws. When enough persons have expressed concerns to legislators demanding that drug laws be removed, they will be removed. That's pretty much the gist of it. Once a law is passed, we all have a duty to obey the law. We don't have to like the law - and some laws are as dumb as a screen door on a submarine - but we have to obey it until it is changed or suffer the consequences. Every law spells out the elements of the offense and police are taught to recognize that and take action. Judges have to listen to arguments about who is right and who is wrong from attorneys, and they are allowed to set the rules which a subject must obey while on bond, or as a condition of their sentence. Anyone who doesn't stay within those lines or messes with a judge deserves what they get - it isn't government overreach. If you truly feel it's government overreach, you should be writing/calling your legislators and gathering like-minded individuals to do the same in order to get the laws overturned. That's what was done in my state (WA) to change laws pertaining to weed and is now being done to change the laws pertaining to psychedelics. Disobeying the law just because you don't agree with it is not an option for a civilized society. Yeah, laws are broken all the time that people disagree with, but that doesn't mean breaking the law is right. This women is playing f*** around and find out. Sooner or later she's going to find herself bereft of her kids and she'll be sitting behind bars thinking, "Oh, poor me," when all she had to do was obey the law instead of screwing around and flouting it.

She can grind the felons with her highly effective questioning skills yet she can still deliver reasonable and appropriate sentencing. If nothing, she is always more of a lenient judge rather than a sociopathic punisher. And I love how she often briskly moves her head while multitasking or when reading different files while listening and questioning the defendants, moving it diagonally from side to side like a little bird or like an upside-down pendulum. This is clearly a talented, naturally gifted person and the US court system is lucky to employ her. I hope she will be adequately reworded for her outstanding service.

      Not entirely true, I live in a state that sadly for the longest time mimic'd the legislature of the garbage state to the west of us; for years our Judges would let junkies out onto the streets and many of them would never show up for court dates. That changed after our new Governor came into office (a former sheriff) and many of our legislatures were replaced by ones who do not follow in lockstep with the idiot state to the west and have been pushing forth changes.
      While it'll still be a couple years before a lot of those changes go into full effect (due to resistance from other legislatures who want to keep the failed policies in place) hopefully in a few years our Judges will finally have the power to keep these criminals behind bars and off the streets.
      Sadly though we still haven't addressed one of our biggest issues (IE: we are a sanctuary state, which has resulted in a big increase in crime)

    Attorney arguing about the reliability of the test , studiously ignoring the patent unreliability of any words out of his clients mouth.

    I absolutely love this Judge, not only she's very attractive but fair, compassionate, and most of all firm on those who think they could just come in and lie, disrespectful to courts.

    This defendant would be able to remember things if she stopped breaking the law - less to keep track of.

    Im getting tired of this judge that cannot control her court. Lets so many degendents tell her what they want as a bond or sentence. Also WTF qith all the playing with paper...stapling ...putting in binders ... Ink stamping... Its distracting to her hearing them or actually listening.
