I know you might not be the best in RPG combat, but seeing the many times you try and fail to use Wild Strikes and Joker Stabs over and over again is like watching a gambling addict betting on black over and over again.
Damn, am I the only one who actually likes the combat system in the Joyful? At first it was annoying for me to hit the exact moment so Buddy deals criticat damage, but after a while I took a liking to this challenge. After you get used to it, it stops being that hard.

No joke, I just did my first playthrough, and did it Joyless, as I wanted to respect the legacy of Brad and not get into that shiet. Turns out it didn't matter at all for an ending or anything, but still, glad I tried it. Even if certain passages were pretty hellish.
It's sad that even though the Hernandez family have always had good intentions in Lisa's games (except for Shardy, for wanting to abuse Buddy) they all ended up with cruel fates, to say the least

yeah it basically highlights the fucked up depravity of the world in which the game is set - what makes it even worse is that it's an effective move that can stop enemies attacking for several turns. it's fucked up, but it gets a pass anyway, somehow
