    Great review. Great video, loved it! Again, the new Cayenne Turbo is a slightly refined 9Y0.1 as every new model. A masterpiece since it is an allrounder. Satisfies any condition or mood. Overcomes most of daily road conditions on earth. Want to go sporty? Let's go. I have also an 911 and that's the only SUV on the planet that can get close to the feel if desired so. Want to go comfy with family or go offroad on a beach or over dunes? No problem. it is extremely capable. Etc... I would never trade my 2020 Cayenne Turbo for anything else than its future tiny evolutions. One question I'd have is as this is an e-hybrid and the electrical equipment must be heavy, did you feel any significant change in the weight increase compared to the 9Y0.1? In the past, Porsche worked hard to lower the weight of the 9Y0 compared to the 958 models. I am curious about how it feels to get back to a very heavy car comparable to the 957 Turbo 15 years ago just because of the battery....

      I think the sense of acceleration is probably even more brutal, because of the electric motor filling in the lower end of the rev range. The amazing thing is the transition/addition of ev power is so seemless, it's not noticeable at all. Just shows how much technology Porsche has thrown into this beast.

      My 9Y0 Turbo can perform 0-60 in 3.58 seconds and that is with no rollout. With a 1ft rollout which is the standard now, my car accomplished it in 3.31 seconds. I think that additional weight, due to the hybrid system, doesn't help down low in the rpm range. The quarter mile may be slightly faster though as the total hp and torque is more than the 9Y0.

      @@TeddysVentures yeah I have a 9Y0 Turbo too (2020) and as you know it's a rocket. I drove the new Turbo E-Hybrid after I posted my message above and... I don't like the non-natural behavior, it feels complicated and heavy at the back. I don't know I am puzzled, I was expecting more from a 700hp++ vehicle, something isn't right.

      @phileas816 I assumed it may feel similarly, so thank you for confirming. I will stick with my 22' T for the time being!

    My dream car was always paying 9/11 Turbo S and now I have three homes with a 911 Turbo S Cayenne Turbo S hybrid and a panorama Turbo S hybrid and at two homes and two Subaru WRX STI because of the snow and I love the Subaru it's an incredible vehicle and if you have good snow tires on all four Wheels there's nothing you cannot get through the same thing goes with the Cayenne especially because you can raise the suspension height.

The 911 have never seen rain or snow and they were all tuned by the same tunner. This year I puched my first Cabriolet it is all yellow with black leather with yellow stitching. They all have titanium exhaust which gives 40 HP more and the sound is incredible compared to stock has stopped it's very quiet.

    Q. Why PHEV if one got Cayenne turbo? Turbo easily hit circa 600 hp, no need to add that extra heavy battery pack plus e motor?

    • @sundaymorningdrives
      @sundaymorningdrives  Před 6 měsíci

      For fuel efficiency, and to give Porsche green quota for making more ICE cars. I take you are not a fan of EVs?

    Which route would you go in the price range??? What cars you own is relevant to the amount of money you make and have. If you’re wealthy and can afford it, you could own the Cayenne turbo e hybrid and the 911 turbo S. if you’re broke then Toyota it is lol😂
