Helpless and Satisfied should always be listened to/watched together. They tell the same story, and on stage the choreography is mirrored.

I upvote Heathers and Epic. As for Stay Alive reprise, it's very short so I don't know about that one, especially out of context. It might be better to wait till he watches the full thing or at least listen to Bloe Us All Away first

Leslie Odom Jr who plays Burr and sings Wait For It and In The Room Where It Happens is insanely talented. The song alone is fantastic, but the stage performance when he sings TRWIH is absolutely phenomenal! I heard somewhere it was his least favourite song because it takes so much energy to sing it and dance at the same time 😂 You really should watch the full musical (and I would be thrilled to watch the video!). There are so many bits where they call back to previous songs, like here in TRWIH where Hamilton sings "You get nothing if you wait for it, wait for it, wait" and he basically calls Burr out for not even trying to go for what he wants.
You need to watch the whole show top to bottom. When it’s all in context, it’s an emotional roller coaster

I'd reccomend Ride The Cyclone! It's been trending recently for good reason, it's a really interesting musical that's both dark and goofy, it's also not entirely just songs. Definitely watch the whole Hamilton musical but using the animatics, there's a bunch of them for each and every song, the musical is basically entirely songs so just the animatics you find will do justice, there might even be animatics that are of the entire musical! Definitely reccomend

it’s not a very popular musical, about half of it is music and the other half is dialogue like a play but it is very good. it’s called nerdy prudes must die. it’s a bit cliche but i think you’d like it and have a good laugh. if you want to react to a song beforehand, i recommend high school is killing me and literal monster just because they’re the first songs so they won’t spoil anything.

Ride the Cyclone is a pretty good musical my personal favorite song is The Ballad of Jane Doe. If you do end up reacting to it I would recommend the live stage play version instead of just the song since it looks really cool. Also I knew Scoot would like The Room Where it Happens because it's one of my favorites as well.

full musical reaction PLEASE. it's better when you watch in order for the story. listening to songs out of order will be confusing and you won't be able to pick up on things that are said in later songs that were previously mentioned. it'll just flow better if you watch the whole thing from start to finish.

i’ve seen a few people mention In The Heights and I have to second that!! it’s by the same creator as Hamilton and the songs are really solid, my absolute favorite is Breathe
One of my personal favs, and one that a lot of people like, is Little Shop of Horrors. It’s REALLY good. It has two endings (one that follows the musical and another one made just for the movie bc test audiences didn’t like the musical one). I recommend watching the movie version but then also watching the other ending just for the experience. I’d recommend listening to ‘Skid Row,’ ‘Da-Doo,’ and ‘Dentist’ because they’re really good and won’t spoil much !!

I love Hamilton so much it's always love when people discover and give it a chance. ALL the song are hits. It's a multiple watch bcuz each time you watch, you see another layer to the story. Everything is intentional. Genius work.
I see a lot of musicals because I have season tickets to my local playhouse. My favorite that I've seen in the last few years has been Hadestown. The music has a New Orleans jazz meets folk flareand its phenomenal. I got to see Hamilton live and it was great, and my favorite all-time classical musical is Les Misérables. I'm about to see the Michael Jackson musical next weekend. 😊

Epic the musical is still in the works but it’s SO good! The animatics bring life to it and the songs are gorgeous
I recommend you watch the whole musical BUT through the animatics! The animatics use the studio versions of the songs, and in my opinion, those sound much better than the live versions.

Highly highly recommend checking out No One Else sung by Pippa Soo, the woman who sings Burn. She also recorded an early version of “How Far I’ll Go” which I believe is from Moana?

Again, Epic the Musical is a big rec!! It doesn't have the typical Musical sound to it. With a lot of electronic elements, its pretty short and i recommend to listen to it in order! There is a playlist on YT on Jorge's CZcams! Songs i would recommend: Open Arms, Warrior of the Mind, Remember Them, My Goodbye, Storm, Ruthlessness, Wouldn't you Like and The Underworld. But honestly for Context it doesn't really make sense to just listen to them in a different order, so if you want to actually understand the lyrics and the story, i would recommend to listen to it from the very beginning in order! As said, its a pretty short musical with only songs and no visuals :) (except for the fanmade animatics) But maybe if you don't want to react or listen to the complete musical right away, start off with the Troy Saga! It's the very start of the musical and storyline.

Hadestown is one of the best modern musicals! some bangers that are good as an introduction to the musical are “Road to Hell” (the first song), “Way Down Hadestown,” and “Epic I” (or Epic II). If you’re interested, I’d recommend listening in that order. Captions/Subtitles would also be helpful lol

Some songs I'd recommend are Cold Feets, As We Stumble Along, Show Off, Toledo Surprise, and I Am Aldolpho. All of them surprised me because I could not understand why these songs were so good when not only had I heard of the musical but it's almost impossible to find it without searching the name up (even though they performed an opening for the tonys in 2006

I absolutely LOVE Hamilton but if you happen to want a musical that is less reacted to; spring awakening! It’s so dang fun and the writer of Hamilton was friends with most of the original broadway cast because it was on stage around the same time that his first show In the Heights was.
On that note it would be very funny to see you react to “heights cool musical”. Lin just danced around Central Park doing a parody of high school musical and referenced spring awakening. Which starred the king from Hamilton. 😂
You should check out First Burn! It's the first version of Burn that was conceptualized, but while it was cut from the musical itself, it did get an eventual release.

Rent has some beautiful numbers too you should consider checking out while you're circling that musical rabbit hole. Take Me or Leave Me and Seasons of Love are my personal favorites.
