If I remember correctly the father killed himself and that's why the mom is so irritable she's still processing that while also raising two children on her own it can be a very overwhelming thing.
Also, David Howard Thornton is so iconic as Art the Clown.

I don’t really know what her thought process was but I remember her telling the class one time that the director was a sweetheart despite all the f’d up shit he puts in this movie lol. I also learned that she kinda gravitates towards horror and f’d up shit in movies and TV. She brought up how she’d never seen The Boys, for example, and we all said it would be right up her alley lol

As someone that grew up with horror movies and absolutely loves them...this was also incredibly rough for me to sit through 😣 for the record, I never saw the first film; a friend that did told me I'm not missing much that isn't recapped or able to be figured out here, and Sienna and her story help make the film palatable enough to sit through, which I absolutely agree with. Lauren LaVera's performance kept me invested, because you as the audience WANT her to win and take Art out, and it's satisfying when she finally does. A very well done film for what it aims to do, but definitely not something I feel I can revisit often.
I MIGHT see Terrifier 3 when it comes out, mostly because Sienna's coming back for it, and I think I will try to see it with an audience at the theaters for it. But after that...I'm pretty sure it won't be something I'll be itching to experience again for a while 😞

Yeah you're not missing much from the 1st as there wasn't a story and doesn't connect to the 2nd really. The 2nd also mentions the murders from the 1st so you already know what happened anyway. I'm totally going to watch the 3rd as I'm interested in seeing where the story is going to go but also because everyone said the experience of watching the 2nd in theaters is off the charts and I don't wanna miss out lol
you should keep in mind that this movie doesn't begin with the first Terrifier, it has a film previous to that one called All Hallows Eve i believe. the very first Art the Clown film. and the little girl clown in this one is one of his victims from that film. thats one of the connections from it.

I was hoping to see if you did a reaction to Terrifier 1, but maybe you'll do that next October. You guy are the first reaction I've watched since I saw the movie because I had to check you reaction to this mess out and I was not disappointed. You two can make the scariest sh*t so funny you forgot that it's scary, that is a rare talent. I do the same stuff by finding the funny thing about it when I watch something scary.
I thought that little clown girl was a hallucination at first because only Art was seeing her.
One thing I will never forget about the movie is that I thought the lead actress was super cute. The dream she had was just twisted and disturbing. I was also wondering why she didn't just pour the box out instead of sticking her hand in it. The mom was my least favorite character in the movie and I immediately thought that if Art goes after her I wouldn't feel bad if she gets taken out. Y'all right about that teacher with glasses was bad as f*ck.
You always know when Art is going to get someone when he gives them that "I'm gone get yo ass later" look or he takes a liking to you. You just live longer if he likes you then the ones he doesn't. Brother man got it bad from the clown. You got to have some level of common sense that there are some creepy mofos you just don't mess with because they're the type that will follow you're butt home and make a pinata out of you.
I think her dad was having visions about Art the Clown. There was a segment in All Hallows Eve 1 where another guy was seeing visions of him and expressed it through artwork. I think her dad was trying to warn her and give her something to protect herself against Art.
I knew art was coming for chick, but I didn't expect that whole scenario to get a F'd Up as it did. That crazy bastard will wipe a whole home out if you give him a chance. She should've just given him the candy and not been an A-hole about it his crazy ass would've probably left, but this is Art the Clown so he's still going to do something messed up. She saw inside the bag and had a "It was at this moment she knew she F'd Up" realization.😂 I'd say hers was the most brutal one of the whole movie at least to me. When he came back with a bottle of lava and the crystal pain maker I knew the fool was beyond psycho and just pure demented because he was truly doing the most. Drew was talking about trying to pull a Yu Yu Hakusho and hang around with arms folded until he can come back to get revenge on that clown if he killed him like that.😆

That friend of hers is messed up. You don't put stuff in somebody's drink. I remember that I was hoping Art would get her because she wasn't really a friend at all and I did n't like her character back at the school scene. She was instantly not likeable. The mom character got when she finally decided to stop being so angry messed up and that's the last thing the son will remember. That's why you should treat you kids good because you don't want their last memory to be you're an A-hole.
You would think that parents would teach their kids not to walk up on the creeper looking van. I thought that Art might be the father of the kids also at first, but I started to realize that the little creepy clown girl was a demon after her eyes lit up like Art the Clowns eyes did in the All Hallows Eve 1 movie after he revealed his demon face. The kid would've been fine if he'd got his butt up off the floor crawling. He just had to get to his knees and he would've got to the sword.
Never seen a psycho serial killer like Art that seems like he was never potty trained. he's always sh*tting all over the bathroom. Nasty Bastard 🤣 Drew started talking about if he die like chick in the bathroom he's going to become something else to get Art back. I started thinking about the Arrow show opening line about that. Drew's gonna become the Spirit of Ass-Whipping because he's gonna wait to beat Art's ass after death.
Damn lead actress got the crap kick out of her by that clown and her brother is playing hide and seek with a lunatic. Art got too cocky laughing and get his ass beat back. Then I started laughing at that ass whipping. Art tried to go for that 360 belt spin whipping and got a stop put to him start getting a lashing of his own. That scene in the pit was weird. He got that dome finish. That end credit scene was weird as hell. I just can't figure out how the woman that got disfigured at the end of Terrifier 1 became a follower of his psychotic ass.
The movie series seems like it's showing the progression of Art going from being a psychotic human serial killer to becoming a demon. The brutality is just a path that he's taking to become that. Knowing this doesn't change how I perceive the movies. It gives me more of an idea where they're going with the story telling. I want to see the next one not because I love the violence, but because I want to know where the story leads
I think they're doing a Terrifier 3 movie. I'm just wonder how much more F'd Up can they get with the franchise then I realized that Art the Clown in the All Hallows Eve 1 movie was supposed to be a demon clown and I think this movie is most likely where his final evolution towards that happens. So maybe we're about to get Demon Art the Clown and maybe even the other demons that are supposed to be his running buddies in Terrifier 3. That would be amazing and traumatizing at the same time. I remember seeing something where they showed him and some of his hell buddies in a short horror film but I can't seem to find it again on CZcams. If I find it again leave a link in case anyone wants to check it out.
