The Violin and Guitar duet, I think, is such an underratted duo of instruments and this along with your performance of Café 1930 is the first time I've ever heard both instruments play together. It makes for so much in a piece and is so pleasing to just listen to.

Being a guitar player, I have to say, the violin just reaches another place musically. What a wonderful performance.
It does, but I prefer the guitar overall. I think the violin can't do as much just by itself as the guitar. I do really like the violin too though.
It does indeed, great as a solo instrument, but by itself... not anywhere near as good. which is why I have multiple guitars and zero violins at home :)

@@Olegstuff21986 You can do pizzicato on violin and... Voilà it become a guitar! In the orchestra there isn't guitar but bows can make a wonderful music
This version captures the obvious spirit of the piece and is perhaps my favorite. It is possible to overdress this piece with what Miles Davis called "butter notes." Sometimes this piece is almost unrecognizable because it is often taken as a starting point for a lot of very diverse extra dressing. This captures the raw beauty of the piece like few others.
