I think the thing with the fire extinguishers is that if they get shredded, that foam goes everywhere. And it's under pressure, so it'll coat sensors, cameras, controls, whatever is nearby. My guess is they just don't want to deal with the mess.

A cowboy love your channel. I watch another channel where that they crush on they lineup hoods in front of the crusher on so all the trash falls on it and then just picked the hoods up and stick on top of cars. That’s how clean up give it a try,

Wire always been good money, you should have seen all the copper wire i got years ago from the phone company, it was perfect timing as they literally just shut down their own recycling ♻️& recovery plant & the phone company did not want anything to do with the rival BT (British Telecom) from using Bell System, AT&T or Verizon wiring in a huge downtown Manhattan building used as a Stock Exchange, my pops & the phone company told me to come rip it all out from every floor ,we literally had 3 to 8 dumpsters full ripped out every weekend for several months of #1 #2 copper, tons of copper buss bars & literally tons of lead wrapped copper cables...yes we cut off & sold the lead too ,got my friends scrapyard to handle the dumpsters & they was literally shitting bricks💵💵💵 & didn't realize the amount of copper that was being recovered ....the phone company didn't want one strand of copper or anything telephone company related for BT to use ....they wanted it all out

10:38 ,Hg Mercury switches, 80's Volvo 740 & 760 contains a big blob in the trunk light switch ..way more than GM vehicles, i don't turn them in ,i either scrap it or save it ,but it definitely doesn't get dumped or sent to the shredder, its illegal, decades ago i get mason jars full of it from friends at the scrapyard ,the phone company & the power company, another friend made a safe prop & literally flushed mercury down a toilet 🚽 for a video , & it was a closed system & all the mercury was recovered & recycled ♻️... it didn't get flushed down the drain, but into a mercury safe storage container

25:50 🧯💥 its a safety issue with them exploding, but yes they can easily be recycled ♻️, you should see the dedicated tank shredder at my friends facility in Korea, its in a separate area surrounded by concrete walls & they literally feed it empty & sometimes somewhat empty propane & gas tanks as well as un serviceable, damaged or outdated fire extinguishers 🧯 ,it eats them like gobstoppers ,every once in a while a supposedly propane or flammable tank gets "accidentally " tossed in & 💥🔥☄️& then they just toss in a few extra fire extinguishers to make sure the fire is out 🧯🧯🧯, the area is basically away from the rest of the facility & fire /explosion proof area ,the workers are in a blast proof area as well, its really fun watching the tanks get eaten & occasionally go boom 💥 actually the most dangerous tanks are C02 fire extinguishers, (rarely used) Oxygen cylinders & anything acetylene related, those get used or recovered before getting tossed in
