    Thank you so much for these videos. First thing I'm gonna do is reset the camera and start all over. Watched a lot of videos but everyone has their own preferences but at least yours are clear.

    Great lesson. The only thing missing in all your videos is you actually taking a photo of an object or outdoors to show the changes made to the camera, sort of a before-and-after.

      I did that for the metering video, where it’s import to see the effect in action. I’ll be doing it again for the focus modes video coming next. I don’t think it’s that important for camera configurations though.
      Also, when ever I make changes that will change (subjective) image quality, I’ll include samples.
      Cheers!

    Really appreciate your videos. One suggestion at 7:34 , when you do the Fn button change for AEL , Scrolling down through Fn Button settings There is "Keep AE lock" Its default is Off. I switch it to On which makes the button now toggle on or off for AEL when i touch the Fn button.

    I love this series! I just got my gr iii and felt quite overwhelmed since I’ve never really used an actual camera before 😅

    Thank you! I have just gotten the GR III and your videos have helped me quickly figure out how to use it. Your structure is very well thought out, and the bite sized videos help me gradually get used to the camera

    As I do also do not shoot Vids with the GR, it was helpful to learn how I can customise this useless button. I have set it to spap focus distances. Not shooting that much pictures all the time I want to avoid an "over-customization" cause I probably will not remember all things I have changed. Thanks one more time for your GR tutorials!!!! They are a must-see for every new RG owner!

    Question: when you set up the wireless/movie button to Touch AF do you need to do that for every user setting or should it save for all of them?
    Thanks in advance.

      @photostuff  Před 11 dny +1

      @@efatcwo if you’ve already saved some user profiles, then yes you might have to. If you haven’t saved any yet, then no, it will be saved for each new one you create.

    Thanks for your videos! Very helpful. One question. I shoot in M and Av. In M I want the back function button for Face/Eye, in Av I want to use the same Fn-button for AE. I want to keep these settings fixed. How can I do this?

    • @photostuff
      @photostuff  Před měsícem

      Hi, sorry about the late answer.
      You can create the settings then assign them to one of the U1,U2 or U3 positions

    Question: How often do you use the crop mode and which of the crop options do you most often on the GRiiix ?

    • @photostuff
      @photostuff  Před 11 měsíci

      I don’t do it very often, but I sometimes shoot at 50mm, and also using the 1:1 square crop. It’s probably better just to shoot normally and crop in post, but I like to frame for the end result, or s close to it as I can get. Cheers!

    Is there a way to save/export the config like on a Panasonic camera?

    • @photostuff
      @photostuff  Před rokem +1

      You can save the whole camera setup to one of the six available “box” slots in memory. You can also attach up to three of these slots to the U1-3 dial positions for quick recall.
