Fun Facts about Khajoor pe Atke:
1. This film was almost not being made. A film with a similar(not same story but the basic one line premise was same.) idea was released in Marathi (Ventilator) when I was looking for a producer for this film. After the release of the Marathi film people were not interested in my story bcoz they felt something similar had come out. But later I was fortunate to find a producer who knew about the Marathi film but liked my script.
2. When Seema Pahwa was acting in my film she had just finished writing 'Ram Prasad ki Tehravi'.. Manoj jee told me "arre seema ne abhi ek aisee hi film lkkhi hai" he was worried, only for a brief moment though, now Seemajee may find difficult to find a producer because the basic one line premise was same. Exactly like I was worried when my film got affected briefly after the Marathi film .
3. When the Marathi film got released many said that it was a take off from a Chinese movie that was made much before but that was not the case. Rajesh Mapuskar the director/writer of the film had come up with a story from his own life experiences.
This happens a lot. Many people are working on a similar or at times a same idea at different places without Any knowledge of the other doing something similar or same. Some get made some don't. It happens with so many stories and films.
Hope more people will watch Khajoor pe Atke and if they like then they will recommend to people too.

Crazy it's so relatable in life now. Love the qualities of every character 🤣. The voice over narration in the beginning was done by Harsh Chayya uncredited. He is the writer/director too. Found the voice exactly like Albert Pinto from Jolly LLB 1. These group of actors really support each other.

आज के समय की सबसे अच्छी फिल्म है एकदम परिवार के साथ देखने लायक है फिल्म के अंत में बमन ईरानी जी हंसते हुए आते हैं वो समझ नही आया ऐसा तो आजतक कही पर भी नही हुआ मुझे लगता है कि फिल्म का सेकंड पार्ट भी आयेगा

Dear All.. thanks for taking out time and watching the movie and the appreciation.
Mostly people relate because it happens in our lives too infact this story came up after an incident in my own family. ofcourse the real event was not so dark but it gave me an idea to make a dark comedy and show how things play out at times.
Now watching it after so many years I feel some things could have been better but never mind it is a learning process.
Boman's part in the end could have been done better- more clear. I can understand lot of people getting confused .. he is the character who keeps asking on phone 'mai aau'n kya?'..the intended joke in the end was that he too finally manages to reach after only calling all the time.
Thanks a lot all. People not happy-will try and do better in my next if I get a chance to make another movie.

Very true story of people of todays time...how selfish man can be at times...and our own near and dear ones r a burden to us..wen in critical state and sicknesses....life is too short...to think of only money and property...we need to understand this...first
I loved it except for the abrupt ending.
Movie ke zarye aap ne rishton ke badalte roop dikhaye. Allah ki mahnat ko aur kaamyaab kare aap aur aage jayen.
Wonderful movie, my father went on life support at least 12 times in 3 years. Every time doctors were skeptical, but he survived. Then when he had to go he went. We never allowed our extended family to come to visit him in ICU.😊
Funny at the same time grounded. Each character even with 15-30sec of screenplay did their job excellently❤

I absolutely love this movie I have watched it continuosly lol 2 3 times a week lol ... I can relate to some of the characters I have them in my family too 😂 ... Beautiful film all cast were great at their roles ...I love aloks mother how she stuffed her face with vada paos cakes when her husband is in ICU. .. I guess it's her way of dealing with things ...one must keep up the strength for teh unexpected ....

A beautiful movie about human nature, emotions, selfishness, regrets, hypocrisy. An absolute reality...
At no point this movie made me laugh instead refreshed all d sufferings...Ive lived this movie fr two months non stop...and a week in icu on vent with drilling work goin on right abve the head in isolation room...bein askd wht typ of icu room i wud prefer delux/standard/silver...and wen opposed to d substandards n mistreatment of the patient whch led into multiple organ failure i was denied all facilities and such a coincidence this was d time wen this mvie released no wonder it went pass by thru a movie buff...it was also one of the leading hospitals of india whch has its branches and educational institutions pan india...luckily we were able to escape frm their clutches to sme wht proper “non corporate non commercial hospital “and here i am with my dad all hale n healthy hes still wid us thanks a ton to almighty...i wish n pray to all d ailing ppl may lord ease their suffering n keep them n their loved ones safe frm such blood sucking vultures🙏🏻
