Tbh ina's opinion was very narcissist, she didn't chew the food then complain about the taste lol
I know, right? It's like she was just there to drag the other moms down. The scores she gave are even too low and her comments are nowhere near constructive!
How is that narcissistic? I think you meant to say "judgemental" narcissism is a clinical diagnosis.
If there's an Asian Karen, Ina is the best example. She's that tita you wouldn't want to cross paths with when there's a family gathering.
Rosa wins for sure overall! A generous amount of serving, and the way she speaks about what and how lumpia should be is really showing how thoughtful/caring she is. That grandmother you can't wait to meet and bond with!
Ina also looks like the chismosa tita who always has something nasty to say to her pamangkins
True, if I would disrespct that lumpia like what ina did, my mom would slap me right away. Ahahhaahhaa
Yeah ikr like she just spat the lumpia out with out even tasting it and she thinks hers is all the best
Let's be honest, Rosa is the tita/lola we all wanted but Ina is the one majority of us have 😭😭😂😂
I have multiple Rosas in my family as titas. The Inas of the world, we don’t have those in our family. Thank goodness.
i have 5 titas but i don’t know much about them because they all live in philippines or japan
i think they r nice because they call my mom often
Lol she points every unnecessary small things like I'll make a big difference
believe me or dont, but rosa is actually my lola in real life lol. i can confirm her lumpia is really good and she is so nice and probably the best lola out there hahaha
I’m Filipino and that first class, better-than-everyone-else attitude some Filipino women have drive me crazy. Where I come from, some Filipino women come from very humble beginnings, marry a white man, and they are suddenly above everyone else; this is the energy Ina is giving me.
those are the ones who dont have any money but still gotta have the louie purse or a lexus
Ina only won cuz rosa is such a sweetheart and gave her a big score she wasnt competitive, she was just genuinely having fun and was excited to try other mother's cooking, and rosa's lumpia being big makes sense cuz lola's like to cook big portions for their family so you know she made that with love, the other 2 mothers are just being unnecessarily competitive and are narcissistic reminds me of my disgusting relatives ugh
I would eat Rosa’s because she’s so sweet and I’m sure cooks with love.
😂 the winner didn't even try them. She just bit it and spit it out.
I’m just a young mexican stoner that smokes weed on my CZcams channel, tryna me it out the hood One Day✊💨
Ina is nasty. Spitting out someone’s cooking is disrespectful. Rosa and Jill were more open and kind to the other’s lumpia.
Tbh out of all their lumpia I would def try Rosa's lumpia. Just because her personality reminds me of my lola
I hate how Ina was the most judgmental but still won
When it's black or Mexicans trying each other's cooking, nobody cares if they're rude af to each other. Ina's behavior was tame compared to what I've seen on other videos. But when it's Filipinos displaying the exact same behavior, everyone gets all offended. Filipinos are supposed to be nice all the time? It's literally a judgement video
@@Najia93 You knew how she won? She didn't critically scored it. She emotionally scored it.
@@firefoxcodex15 facts, ina is like judgemental aunt that you accidentally greet on family gathering
Ina’s reminds me of those titas that make backhanded compliments about your looks whenever you see them at a family party…
3:19 sis, since when did actual real life filipino meals have appetizers? it's always straight to the main dish and a panghimagas, if you're lucky. lumpia is definitely an ulam.
Was defo thinking the same thing!!! Since when was appetizer a thing for us🤣
Totally agree! I definitely prefer the serving size of Rosa’s lumpia as my Lola used to make them big as it was our ulam not an appetiser 😂
the way that one girl spit out both of the other 2's is so disrespectful
Ina: It should be bite size.
Me sees her lumpia: How is that bite size??
Bahahaha true e and the original lumpia is thin and Long nothing look like her lumpi 😂
Seriously love Rosa's attitude here. the rest of them are annoying especially that Ina HAHAHHAAHA!
Ina had such a negative, toxic attitude. She made the video unpleasant to watch.

@@jennyzubiri9312 It concerns me how you brought up race as having any matter to do with the individual’s behavior in this video.
@@jennyzubiri9312 probably because it’s more of a culture thing for Asian especially when it comes to your elders. Never disrespect or talk to an elder that way, otherwise you definitely have one of these coming your way👋 to the back of your head lol
@@jennyzubiri9312 why you gotta bring up black and brown people into this? what was the point of that?
I showed this to my Filipina step mom and she said "People think that Filipinos are so nice but if you allow us to be very honest, this video is what you'll get." lmao.
In Filipino culture, we are supposed to act "polite" even if we're not into something... but when no one is looking, we criticize and mock like crazy.
We may seem nice to other nationalities but are really like this with fellow Filipinos
@@Gem-uw6mt - LOL, we are like that even to other nationalities... if we don't like them, we act polite in front of them, but mock them behind their backs.
Food it's not just about favor it's also about the love and the passion of the cook. Rosa's lumpia was big and plump, like a grandma who loves keeping her grandkids with chubby cheeks... maybe she did not win the game but out of the three hers is the only house I would go to eat and hang out
I like Jill’s lumpia. It’s crunchy and flavorful. Goes well with rice. I like Rosa’s lumpia because she’s the kindest Lola… nice and accepting. Ina is like the aunt who thinks she’s holier than thou. Her lumpia probably reflects her personality.
Ina is the aunt who thinks that her house and car is worth so much more than any of her relatives combined. Yet she hasnt worked a day in her life.
We’re eating the food, not the attitude of the person. Stop getting up in your feelings, and keep it about the food.
Wtf lumpia not for ulam? Are you crazy!? Lola Rosa’s lumpia is perfect! Two lumpia plus unli rice and you’re good!
BRO YOU ARE SO RIGHT NAGBILI NGA SI MAMA 5 LUMPIA NAUBOS KO 3 PATI MAY YELLOW RICE
Rosa reminds me of my filipino grandma, so sweet, gentle and wholesome. Also makes the best food! I love you nanay! 🥰
Honestly, Ina just won cause Rosa and Jill were too nice in scoring her Lumpia. Rosa for the win!
Ms. Jill and Ms. Rosa are super sweet yet still very professional. They’re the true winners :)
Someone definitely has to humble the winner.
Nobody can please Ina but her self. She reminds me of someone I know who think she's better than everyone -- judging someone based on their appearance with matching head to toe assessment plus snide remarks and hypocritically ticking checklist wondering if you meet her high standards.
Ina won this contest but failed at everything else.
The mom who made the first lumpia was just straight disrespectful!
even me as a filipino rlly got me mad abt the winner she didnt even chew the her first bites hahaha lol lola made the video so special 🥰
Ina is so rude. She didn’t even try the other lumpia’s. She thinks her lumpia is so much better than the others. Tooting her own horn lmfao. What a joke!
Ina..you won because of the kindness of Rosa that gave you gracious points. For me, the winner was Rosa, the way she respected the food no matter who made it. She didn't spill out the food.
I love Rosa! I’m not Filipino, but I think Filipinos are some of the most awesome people I’ve ever met.
That one girl Ina just wasn't going to like anyone's but her own
"Bite size, Crispy, and golden brown"
Her lumpia. . . Pale, soggy and not a bite size 🤣
Rosa gets all the rewards. Bless her soul. 🏆🥇🏅
Would you eat this at a Filipino party?
Ina: I'll just bring my own
Bold of you to assume you'll be invited Ina
Ina spits it out right away to actually give it a fair review. She’s the type who thinks she’s better than everyone else lol
Rosa is the winner, hands down 🙌🏼❤️ she just reminds me so much of my grandma. The other two ladies, especially the winner in the video, eh
Ina really said lumpia are appetizers when Filipinos typically eat it as ulam with rice. No pinoys eat lumpia first and then proceed to the main course. Also, id rather eat lola Rosa's lumpia bc it looks filling like a loving grandmother's love.
The winner is so rude and unpleasant
The true filipino here is the grandma
This makes me miss my grandma. She makes the best lumpia! I thought they were only an Indonesian thing. That’s awesome the Philippines do it too!
The winnner didn't even try the other ones!! Wtf dude Rosa was better for sure
YESSSSS WE NEED MORE FILIPINO CONTENT
Ina needs a freakin mirror
you can just tell by the way Ina reacts to these dishes.. she hasn't been satisfied in a while.. _✨iykyk✨_
Anyone else get tired of hearing them complain? Granny was cool though
I'm happy y'all added the professions along with them being moms. Cause I wanna show my mom that other Filipinos do not have to be nurses.
Ina is that Tita in the party who thinks she's better than everyone else
Lumpia is actually more of an ulam than an appetiser. 👀
rosa is too wholesome
Rose didn’t win but lola you won our heart♥
The winner's so nasty. She reminds me of the toxic side of Filipino culture. You can be critical and objective without being so rude and egocentric.
lol this video made me more upset than happy. Ina reminded me of some titas I had that needed to get slapped for acting exactly like that at family parties
I'D EAT YOUR LUMPIA, ROSA
if you are a true filipino you would always choose the biggest lumpia on the table.
any day
of course with rice, lumpia is always been a viand lol idk what shes talking about.
My grandma is from the Philippines and passed away in 2017 on September. She wished me a happy birthday on that month before she passed. She use to cook lumpia and sell it and everyone loved it. This video made me so happy. I love Filipinos so much💜
Ina is that sosyal Marites that comes to Fiesta just to judge the people and the foods. Natatawa ako kawawang lumpia dyrog na durog kay Ina .. hehe
That's Filipino food, it's easy to do, but you can't just do it, you need the right seasoning and it also depends on the taste of the person eating if it's more flavorless or flavorful so sometimes if the cook is not Filipino, he makes a mistake in making it, then the taster will not like the taste because of the wrong making procedure, so the Filipinos are always on the lookout for cook reviews from other countries, maybe because they made a mistake in cooking so that the tasters do not have a wrong interpretation fun fact Filipinos love the sauce to balance the taste
Ina you're wrong, my mom makes the best lumpia! 🤭🤭🤭 Lol. I would definitely eat tita Rosa's lumpia. With vinegar for sure 😀
(pls dont disrespect lumpia, we must protecc everyones lumpia!!)
"lumpia is served as an appetizer and not an ulam" sigurado ka ba jan sis? Ulam namin yan kahapon eh 😂😂😂
if filipino dads do it.. they'll probably enjoy everything.
I was expecting that cooler to have so much crab… mentality.
🦀 🦀 🦀😜😜😜
Im Indonesian, here we also have lumpia but its from semarang ( a city here ) but its a little sweat but not that crunchy but its also really good.
Rosa is so sweet. I would try anything she made.
BuzzFeed needs a redo. Keep Rosa though. I wanna hug her!!!! Them other two can kick rocks.
Rosa reminds me of my grandma and how she made her lumpia
Damn! Filipino moms are savage AF!
Ina is that type of tita who you try to avoid at parties because she will try to make yours and her kids compete who’s the better nurse. You go on this show to appreciate different types of the same food, like you didn’t even eat any of them? It’s also rude to spit food you didn’t make. Who raised you?
i want to taste tita rosa's lumpia it feels like she is our lola who always give us good food and a warm hug whenever we comeback home 😍
I've been waiting for this for years
Ina is soo mean lol. I dislike when people take a small bite and spit it out without chewing/giving it chance.
I'm kidnapping Rosa and making her my Everything 😄
Thank god I’m not the only one who thought Ina was being rude.
Filipino Lumpia is 😍❤️
Wow! My favorite! Thank you for sharing your recipe! I subscribed and support. Keep on vlogging po! 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Yeah, Rosa! 🌞San Diego shout-out!!
Now I want some lumpia gulay rn.
Rosa definitely cooks with love, she's considerate enough to think about who will taste it, and if it has too much sweet/salt/spice.
🥰
Ina the type of tita that pretends she can’t speak Tagalog anymore
THE WINNER DIDN'T EVEN TRY THEM!
What’s the cooler truck? How’s it work to keep it not soggy?
I loved rose she was so sweet. I’d eat her food all day long! ❤
all kinds of food can be an ulam if you really wanted it to be, manang Ina. LMAOOO
Did they record when all of them are in the room together and watched this? haha now that's content! There would have been some resentment in that room
I love how on things like these it's always the nice humble one who also praises everyone else wins 😂💖
Ina don't know what's she saying
1. Lumpia is ULAM 3:21
2. Lumpia is much better with sauce especially chili-onion-vinegar sauce 3:56
Seconding this comment bec lumpia is really more of an ulam and usually paired with sauce.
Was this reposted? Cuz I watched this video before
Ina is that one aunt I don't wanna see in family gatherings
ka arte naman tumik nung nanalo hahaha pinaglihi ata sa gintong sibuyas HAHAHA
ina, it's just lumpia hahaha why are you trying so hard to be the Gordon Ramsey of Filipino hors d'oeuvres?
ate ina is the ate we all have lol you could spend months planning out the perfect gift to give her for christmas, but instead of thanking you, shell spend the entire time complaining about the bad present wrapping job
ROSA'S LUMPIA WAS THE BEST ONE!
ina is the type of person who would go to a birthday party at magsasabi “walang lasa yung salad.”
Filipino moms are always the most blunt people imo when it comes to eating other peoples food and it’s absolutely hilarious to watch. They’ll always be like “Anak hmmm i cun mek a better wan den dis at home”
tita rosa is the winner for everyone else here! i am very sure that her lumpia taste very very good
I just made Lumpia for the first time! It was so good on Christmas. My friend is Fillipino and her grandma gave me her recipe! It was so goood!
ina is one of those titas/titos whose faces first pop into your mind when you say "toxic family members"
Ina: - For me it looks more like a Turon than Lumpiang Shanghai, because Lumpiang Shanghai is served as a cocktailor an appetizer, or an hors d'oeuvre, and NOT a viand or an ulam and so it should be smaller.
Me A literal Filipino person who has lived in the Philippines my entire life:
- So we've been doing it wrong? 👀
I am not Filipino but I used to work with several, and they would alternate bringing Lumpia in for everyone. Maybe Lumpia is different in different parts of the Philippines because the Lumpia they made was different than this(they were from the same area originally). Theirs was a lot smaller diameter about the size around of a finger and about as long as one. It was crammed tightly with minced pork, cabbage, carrots maybe some spices also because they would bring sauce to dip but it was better plain. I went to a restaurant that served it and it was the style in this video and I thought they were selling egg rolls and just calling it Lumpia plus they were dry and tasteless. Now, these looked good but I think I would still like the thinner ones better.
True. Lumpia in Philippines differs a lot depends on what region you are from. Ingredients can widely differ, so you can't have an exact standard of a "perfect lumpia".
okay so technically the thin ones you described are known as "Shanghai Lumpia" or "Lumpia Shanghai" and i prefer those better too!! and yes regular lumpias are just like egg rolls, thick with a veg/meat medley, whereas the shanghai lumpias are skinny and meatier, like rice paper taquitos. so now you know to look specifically for shanghai lumpia on a filipino menu or recipe (although some places will just call them as "lumpia" but you are right, there is actually a distinction between these 2 main types) 😋✌🏽💜
OOOHH and i hope you try "banana lumpia" also known as "turon" ... it's delicious dessert lumpia, often made with jackfruit, sometimes served with caramel and/or ice cream!
Rosa wins for sure. Ina’s attitude is rude. She didn’t even eat it. She just kept spitting it out. Ina reminds me of those Titas who swear they’re better than other people
Ina will ask you "did you gain weight" before you even step into the door of the family party. Rosa (we call her auntie Rose) is actually my cousins mom.. I literally clicked on this video randomly and was so confused seeing her face in the video LOL
Lol thiiss
Ina is the tita who always brags about the imaginary trip they made in EU.
SHE PUTS THE INA IN PUTANG INA 💀💀💀
Ina is a full Filipina. She’s nice but extremely critical Filipina. Rosa on the other is the OG Filipina everyone loves! So ina may have one but Rosa won our hearts!
