Hello friend, did you manage to solve the hss blinking light

Hello! Yes it was resolved. It was at the dealer for a month while they communicated with Honda about the issue. It ended up being a micro-clutch switch went bad in the left-hand clutch housing. That was almost 3 years ago and all is good. 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi mate my bike had the same problem at the first 600 miles service they spray penetrating oil in the micro switches on both levers

Wayne Johnson wow at 600 miles. You would think Honda would be better with their product! I might have to try that trick. How has it been since they performed that service?

Sprayed the micro switches on the brake and clutch and the blinking stopped. That hill assist light had been blinking for weeks. We shall see if that fixes it, or if I need to replace the switches.

@@bryandouglas507 I would call your dealer and check Partzilla for the part. If your warranty is still active it should be covered..mine was. Mother Honda will bitch about bc they don’t “know” about it but thats a bunch of BS. They know

@@motorider4130 I ended up having go order the lower switch on the clutch. It is working now as the mechanic there messed with it and cleared the codes. But it was stuck open.

You didn't say what the problem was. These switches are defective from the factory? Why aren't you having the dealer pay for them!

    • @motorider4130

Yes the micro clutch switch on the left side went bad and Honda covered it. It took a month of back and forth between the dealer and Mother Honda..

where did you get that trunk and seatback

Mark S I purchased the whole setup from Shad online. I’m actually selling the whole thing because I ended up installing the honda OEM trunk. If you are interested in the Shad setup let me know! 👍🏻👍🏻

I was thinking about going the Shad route. What didn’t you like about it that made you go with the OEM trunk? Thank you.

Hi Timothy! The main reason I upgraded or changed the trunk was for my passengers comfort. My previous ride was a vstar 1300 that I had installed a nice trunk with a similar backrest. The SHAD backrest was not cutting it for her. If it was just me alone with no passenger ever i would have stuck with the SHAD. Live and learn lol.
