Project Diablo 2 S9. Stormspire Sorc + Metalgrid + Act 3 Warshrike = Tankier + Deadlier.

- Dbot's stormspire Sorc is a great to choice to pair with your act 3 holy shock merc. Its important to understand a sorc without a shield is pretty squishy so players should prioritize some defensive stats like extra defense, PDR, or curse rez. Also, energy shield works but you need MAEK, regen or mana leech.
To clear up the curse res. I mostly run ROB and Horazon maps so the curse res allows me to still easily hit the second teleport breakpoint (20) while still giving me 5% PDR. A 6% PDR griffons could technically be better but it's difficult to hit the FCR breakpoints as well as enough LAEK to be really smooth.

I think for most maps, it works better with energy shield than with pdr as long as you slightly watch where you teleport
Using the double dream you showcased earlier seem to make it run even faster, especially on tier 1 maps, like 2:30 torajan, and I don't think it's that much squishier with a bit of micro because the damage output is so high
Also solves the mob OCD problem and the temptations of going back to finish them off because that large AoE wipes the maps clean^^
I also tried it with the 3x density submod for plugy and everything instantly melts on screen with how much it procs, very fun time, you're basically only limited by the cast rate for teleport

I told him the same thing. But he likes the options to run T3S. But if running T1 only I think dual dream + ES + maek is probably smoother.
2:30 torajon seems really good.
@@Wheatsolo Definitely not full clear 2:30 but that's about the time it takes to reach the boss by just holding right click teleport, laziest build in the game^^
Also tried a few T3s, Sescheron and Throne of Insanity, I died instant after 2-3 minutes on x3 density Throne, doable but risky. Pandemonium was not a good idea, high lightning immunes are the only thing that can withstand this build and slow you down, but lower lightning immunes melt down as fast as non-immunes with dual dream, it's barely noticeable.
Sescheron was surprisingly easier despite the curses. I think the most dangerous things for this build are actually not decrepify but enemies with knockback likes snakes. As long as you keep teleporting and procing you're basically unkillable with some laek/meak/lifesteal. But lower FHR map mods or knockback can lead to an instadeath if you're not careful.
But otherwise, almost nothing can touch this build. Energy shield depleting your mana is not an issue because this build barely uses any. You can run around hard maps without even using juves, just regular potions
Finally, most bosses get wrecked by this build, the Sescheron boss fight lasted 10 seconds. Cistern was the longest I tried, at around 25 seconds because I had to tp to heal the golem.

Hey @wheatsolo and @mewdawn! I am asking you as you both seem to be experts in the field: Is there any reason traditional nova sosos us a2 stormspire merc rather then a3 wshrike? What are the actual benefits of each?

No. Blade shield does not use weapon durability anymore. Was changed a couple seasons ago.

Not too bad. Only if stomping into aura stacks, etc. kinda how anyone can die. If he player slower safer, etc.
It was 33 before I made my infinity iron golem.
Haven't died since then. The PDR and life helps a lot.
Could still take off 10 points from tstorm and pump them into shiver armor for an additional 5k defense, but it actually works well enough without so probably won't bother.
