    I ordered the blue one off Amazon a few months ago and I love it. I can’t get a washer or dryer in my apartment and I got tired of going to my parents every week to do laundry. I recommend this thing very strongly for anyone living the apartment life.

    This was a cool gadget to see in action. I think my uncle got something similar for my grandmother to use since she can no longer easily go down into the basement to dry clothes and her washer was too large for just her clothes. She despises it though and says she refuses to waste her precious energy in learning a new device. lol. She's 95. So, we'll give her that. Bless her. Sparkle on! ✨

    Some trials and errors, nothing major. Careful w/soap, lighter loads gd I could do 4/5 shirts. Leggings/socks/ undies/sheets/ sm towels not all together...split ups. I squeezed out heavier items before spin. It's really easy. Follow you tubers use. The instruction booklet ??? I had one issue w/water drips from under back of spin side. ? Unlevel clothes in spinner bounced around until rearranged. Anyone else have under drain hose water leak? I think it's a great little item. Done 10-15 loads. Only laundry runs for certain stuff.

    • @BeBodacious
      @BeBodacious  Před 3 lety

      Yes, you definitely have to be careful with the soap. My favorite is Dropps that I order from Amazon but I use a tiny bit of liquid if I'm out of those. I haven't had any problems with the water leak. Is the hose broken? If so, you might be able to pick general purpose hose up at Lowe's or Home Depot.

  • @WereReallyRelayCamping
    @WereReallyRelayCamping Před 3 lety +5

    the latest version is a single tub that can wash in the tub then spin the tub, its saves space, but you obviously cant wash and spin at the same time. we run ours off a modified sine wave inverter but no doubt it would like a pure sine wave more. our inverter says ours runs at like 160w/200w. theres no real 'better than any other brand' of these there all one factory that makes them for resellers from the cheap ones to the (even) panasonic branded ones, so if you have never heard of kuppet, dont be put off or think its a lower quality, its the same as the rest so its worth a buy just the same. if you have the space, they are great addition!

    • @BeBodacious
      @BeBodacious  Před 3 lety

      The specs escape me right now but they're probably similar to what yours is reading. We use a PWM right now. I suspect you're right on the factory. Thanks for telling me about the newer model. • @BeBodacious
      @BeBodacious  Před 3 lety +1

      The Dropps brand that I use is low sudsing. They work much better in this type of washing machine than liquid, powder or other pods. Liquid is a good back up if I run out or forget to bring the Dropps with me on the road. You just don't need to use much of the liquid because it creates suds so easily.

      I had a machine like this in 1983. I lived in an apartment and no washer hookup, my daughter was only one and going to the laundry was difficult, mine was much bigger but same set up. It could wash 7 big bath towels or 5 adult size jeans. I used it for years until the pump started leaking so bad and I could no longer get parts. I Hooke it to the kitchen sink as it had wheels so you could push to where needed. The hung clothes on the line to dry. The best thing I could do an extra spin so they would dry quicker. I even did full size set of sheets with the pillow cases in it. It was awsome.

      Good point. It seems to work better to put it in last if I'm using a bucket. If I'm using a garden hose, I'll add the detergent first.

    I have a question to ask about this, let's say if I wanted to use liquid fabric softener after I be done wash my load of clothes, can I then refill the washer again with water and just use the liquid fabric softener to make my clothes smell like fabric softener and then put them in the spin dryer to spin dry and then hang them to let them air dry, I see that Walmart carries some clothes drying rack that I can let'em hang on in my small apartment and that way it'll leave my apartment smelling good with that fabric softener off my clothes,

      @@BeBodacious Awwww ok then thank you so much and another thing can I also use bleach for my white clothes at the time of using laundry 🧺 detergent to wash the white clothes and is it good to wash dark clothes separate from light clothing so that the dark clothes do not make the bright clothes look kind of dark or fade type

    • @BeBodacious
      @BeBodacious  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes. Just don't use a lot of it. You only need a little of anything in these machines. That means less detergent, bleach and fabric softener and smaller loads.
      Separating clothes will keep your colors brighter longer and your whites brighter. Reds and other bright colors should be washed by themselves a few times until you know they won't fade. It's always a good idea to separate colors no matter what type of machine you use.

    • @bradking5267
      @bradking5267 Před 3 lety

      @@BeBodacious ok then I will take that into consideration and so just that what you said, with the colors from bright to dark colors and small amounts of laundry detergent and bleach and liquid fabric softener. I like the portable washer and spin dryer, as it spin dry my clothes they do not take that long to get dry at all when I hang them on my new dryer rack that I got from Walmart,

      The skeptics can be converted. A friend saw me using the washer while I was testing it on solar and came over. We lived at the edge of Dixie Alley (Tornado Alley of the south). She was hugely skeptical about van life, the washer, my solar on the van etc. I explained that what she called weird would let me have clean clothes even in a disaster. She was a believer when she left.

      I'm a size 22 and can wash a pair of jeans and couple of t-shirts. The spinner does a pretty good job. Jeans take extra time to dry though. I'd allow at least overnight in a bathroom or room with good air flow.

    • @kellygirlaj
      @kellygirlaj Před 3 lety +1

      Ask your landlord or apartment manager before using this machine. Check your rental lease as well to see what it says. My lease says I can't install a washer and dryer in my apartment. Plugging in a machine is not an installation; if that was an installation, I couldn't have a fridge or oven or microwave. Maybe you could have it since this machine is meant for apartments.
