Just watched several of your vids while doing my 1st time with dips. I got the Modelones Cosmo Party in Galaxy Dust. It's taken me several hours. I used a 4 side buffer to bring it to a beautiful natural shine! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it seems like that much needed 3rd coat takes my nails from thin to a bit thick - especially at the free edge. I did arcrylic for many years but got tired of smelling up the entire house. Natural nails have always been paper thin & tear like wet newspaper when wet. Dry they cut like a baby's nails. I'm satisfied for the first attempt. Your videos are inspiring. Thank you! 🥝🥝🥝😂

Great tips in this tutorial! I have glow in the dark pigment that I think I will use to mix with the extra powder. The mani came out beautiful just like a sunset 🌅🍊

Oh my Marla, how stunning is that????? I have been using the Azure base/top coat and activator for a while now. Did not know I should put another coat of activator on before top coating. I don’t usually have a problem but will definitely try it next time I do my nails. 🍍
I didn't know this at first, either, but the activator is so thin and goes such a long way, I do 2 coats before AND after filing, waiting the 2 mins after coat #2 and coat #4, just to make sure all my dip coats underneath are fully saturated. It does seem to make a difference as far as hardness and chipping protection, though, I've become a ManiBoss 2in1 base/top coat and ManiBoss Pink Lace BIB gel fan the past 6 mos and have been doing a very natural look. Now that I know the longest lasting gel method for me, I'm looking forward to incorporating some dip color back into my life for the summer months! Cheers!

This mani is beautiful! Great tutorial as well with several great tips! Question: I noticed you didn’t have to clean your cuticles with the tool, just brushed them, is that because you’re laying your finger into the dip rather than pouring? Just wondering.
If I find that I heave liquids and powder that got into the cuticle area, I’ll definitely clean them up. But I didn’t find it necessary for this manicure! ❤️

I'm new to dipping. I prefer not using UV lights. Currently using Modelones. I see u mix a lot of ur products, are there any rules when mix dip powders?
Hey love! You totally don’t have to use a UV lamp! I usually prefer a gel top coat, but that’s just my preference. You can use a dip top or a regular polish top!
As far as mixing products, if mixed A LOT and I’ve never run into an issue!
