Today I finally finish my SQ component speaker install. Yesterday I mounted my last tweeter cup, today I'm going to finish the sound deadening, put the door panels back on and recalibrate my audio processor.

I really wish things were as advanced as they are now when I was doing stereos...gesh! How things have evolved- no RTA for tuning, just ears and mathematical knowledge...really wish we had quality type installers like yâall- Cheers!

Doug in keeping with the small amp/processor theme you should build a small sub with just enough output to fill in the lower octaves your fantastic mids cannot play. Would sound killer and alittle better on the young one sitting in the baby seat.

Hey Doug, Have you ever thought about extending the connections on your Audison to a location like your glove box? that way you wouldn't have to disassemble half your truck each time you want to tune.

Even if you don't treat the MDF speaker adapters, here in California by the time they warp over a few years, you're probably due for new speakers.

On the mule, the sub was port-tuned for sub bass and bass, so are you going to do something similar with the pickup? Or is the Audison going to be leveraged to cover any audio power gaps between a subwoofer enclosure and the mids in the doors?
Dude the sound skin is going to add weight to the doors and the hinge might fail which will ignite the fume and......BOOM

I really like how the f 150 sounds, but I doubt with my budget I could afford all that equipment. i have like 20sq ft of coreboard foam laying around its like 2 inches thick not sure if you ever heard of core board but do you think it will be good for sound proofing? trying to soundproof my room. my bass is 2 bumping 4 sum
