- Over-excited Italian TV presenters and audience host an under-excited but very cool looking Mark II Purple, for a mimed rendition of Strange Kind of Woman in May 1971 on "Su Di Giri" ("Up To Speed"), introduced by Enzo Cerusico and Giuditta Saltarini, on Radiotelevisione Italiana.
Ritchie Blackmore is seen with a white Stratocaster with a Telecaster neck, and Roger Glover with his Fender Mustang bass. - Hudba
I was born in 79 but lucky enough to have older siblings and cousins who brought these bands in my life. Deep Purple is truly an amazing amazing band.

Когда Гиллан вышел в обтянутых брюках клёш и майке , у меня внутри всколухнуло всё. Вспомнил молодость , какая оказывается жизнь быстрая. Не будет у нынешних в жизни Deep purple, Queen. Как нам повезло.

Dear John, thank you for your nice comment.. ✌️🌹 My Croatia, was the part of ex Yugoslavia, we were not under Soviets pressure, like Chehoslowakia, Poland, Hungary etc. We've listened to the same music like the rest of the Europe, in many disco clubs during the country, I was buying LP albums in Croatia and Italy.., nothing from America and West Europe wasn't forbidden.., thanks God 😌
We have thousands of rock concerts in ex Yugoslavia..., bands from all over the world have visited our country .. I was listening to the Cream, Ten years after, Jethro Tull, Eric Burdon with War and Animals, Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Alice Cooper, James Brown, B. B. KING 🤣, Neil Young, Donovan, Janis, Taste and Rory Gallagher, Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac, Uriah Heep, Free, Wishbone Ash, King Crimson, CCR, etc. blues, soul, jazz, everything.., sorry, I was so long..! 😱

I’ve seen a few myself: Deep Purple in 1971, Jimi Hendrix, Leonard Cohen, Lynard Skynard’s original band, Foghat, Marshall Tucker Band, Allman Brothers, BB King, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, and I’m sure there are a few that I’ve missed. We are so lucky to have seen those great musicians.

One of my all time favorite bands. I'm 67 and still rockout to these guys. One of the vest guitarists in the world Richie Blackmore rocks. He's in my Top Ten of all time.
Hi RockoutWichita, Well I'm 68 and was lucky enough to attend a concert of theirs in Brigjton back in the early 70's. Roger Glover inspired me to get a bass. Still love hearing this stuff and the later solo stuff Blackmre did with Candice

My mom’s younger sister was in love with Robert Plant. I laughed at the arguments about who was handsome or sang better. One day my aunt asked me “so you don’t think Robert is prettier than Ian?” I replied that Jimmy Page was the most handsome… immediately they both forgot their differences to boo me …. 😂😂😂

Познакомился с группой в 1968 году. Запала в душу виртуозная игра клавшника и всех гитаристов. Ну а солист вообще супер.
1971год. Через 6 лет я узнаю о них и полюблю на всю жизнь....
Что бывает в понятии Hard Rock. много групп, но первое что приходит на ум- Deep Purple! Я моложе группы, но не на много. Мужики МОЛОДЦЫ!

I'm 64 and I still love them very much, 2 weeks ago I went to see them on my own in France but the voyage was well worth it they still rock as the best and Ian's voice sounded still fantastic. Simon the new guitarist was very ,very good.they are still so friendly to their fans,
Same age as you are, seen them in Lisbon november 2022. I still was awestruck. The musicianship was outstanding. Loved Simon too.
