I am curious if you can listen to music from the lighting port on your iphone while the phone is connected via Bluetooth to wireless carplay? This could be tested with headphones.

What this guy seems to have forgotten to mention is that this won't work if your HU doesn't have Apple CarPlay already installed.

My Zlink version is 3.9, I have understood that version 4.04 or higher will be able to do wireless Android Auto. I managed to get a Zlink version 4.037, but when I installed it, I got Channel err! If you have an android head unit you will have play store. If you don’t have google play store you probably don’t have an android head unit, just a 3rd party software like Sony or kenwood etc

Hi, I do have Tlink and CarPlay works through it via USB wired. But even after having the Bluetooth connected to the head unit, Tlink is stuck in “waiting”. It only connects when wired. Any way to fix this?
You can only use one or the other. If it does not work on Bluetooth, you will need one of those wireless adapters.

Unless you have an android head unit that’s aftermarket which lets you download apps and supports CarPlay it probably won’t work
