I'm only 18 , and I am now just learning how much God done so much for me and what's right in front of me and what needs to change in my environment . The only one I can actually depend on is God himself since I'm an outcast of the house . My parents think I'm crazy and creepy , because I talk about how beautiful and amazing God is in different ways .
I got into a fight and ended up in jail for 24 hours...well I used to sing gospel music in church, but had lost my way, but when the chips were down ...I was in a very small cell and just noticed that the acoustics were amazing in this cell all by myself, so God definitely was my comfortorter that 24 hours and he laid this song on my heart! Not knowing ANYONE was even aware of my presence, I began to sing it!! Like I said the acoustics were amazing, so I began to praise and worship as I sang..I felt the holy spirit all over me..soon an officer knocked on my cell door and opened up the very small talking window and he informed me that my voice with THAT song( well this song) was going up to the very top floors thru the ventilation system and some of the most hardened criminals were on their knees crying like small boys just hearing the music of the Lord!! At first, I apologized? But the officer STRESSED to me that no, no, no Michele we are asking you to continue please please please, because Apparently these men were some of the most aggressive men they had ever had and they couldn't figure out HOW to control their fighting!! But the LORD fell upon their weary ears and they became so passive that some fell to their knees crying out to God and some just fell ASLEEP!! On EVERY SINGLE floor!! So, even though I was in trouble myself...I knew who to call on..now I hope those men will remember who THEY can call on in times of trouble, AND times of JOY!! MICHELE BALL
I pray you are still signing for the Lord! Your testimony brought me to tears! Oh, how the Holy Spirits can reach to the very bottom and depths of our pain and sorrow! To face the reality of where sin can take us and THEN to our knees to see how badly we need God/Christ to deliver us… free us. My husband had a heart attack twice. The first one, no warning, they found 3 blockages. The morning of the surgery, 2 sparrows flew onto our window. I’ve lived in this apt for 25 years and this was the very first time this happened. That moment I knew my husband will be okay from a major surgery. God is amazing. Barbara---I've tried to change my outlook and yet nothing ever changes. He wasn't there when I was born and my own mother chose to throw me away. He wasn't there when I was 6 and my adopted father did unspeakable things to me. He wasn't there when I begged and pleaded for him to be there as my dad beat me as a child either. He wasn't there when I was attacked and raped 9 years ago. Even then I called out to him and got nothing. So you go ahead and pray to him. I guess I pissed him off somewhere between conception and birth because I don't remember him once ever being there for me.

I'm 19 i i cannot listen to this song without tears in my heart my mom went to meet the Lord on the 21st of January 2020 and in the midst of it i am hurting but grateful to God that she is OK now she suffered with 100% kidney failure, her body swollen to capacity, in tremendous pain everyday, in and out of the hospital this has been going on for years, yet through it all she praise God like never before in ways that we who are OK don't and that is sad, down to her last day even last breathe was praise God, She couldn't walk anymore, stand for to long she had trouble to use the washroom and bathe but inspite of it all she praised God and never once told us how much pain she went through we only found out when she passed, a doctor told us but because of her faith that i say down to the last and all my life trying her best to keep me in Christ i do not hate the Lord for taking her because now she can sing and dance and walk and run and no more pain no more tears so i love the Lord with all my heart for healing her by keeping her with him to be safe and free from this worlds troubles for all eternity. now me ,my 20 and 4 year old sisters my 18 year old brother and my dad has to live for the Lord till that day we see him and see her again God is real after she passed his presence comforted me and still does because he is a comforter now he directs my path God bless you all

The first time I ever stood up to my dad ever in life was because he told me I couldn't go to church!!! Believe me this was a very big thing in my house because my dad had no problem knocking the crap out of you if you ever talked back to him or just even annoyed him. But I had to go!! I'm sitting here crying writing this because it's still so painful to remember!! Jesus was the only hope I had ( living in such an abusive home). I had tried to take my life at 16 and ended up in the hospital for several days and then in an outpatient program. Jesus saved my life!! When I had no one else and no hope I reached out to Jesus!! He brought me more peace and comfort and understanding than I have ever known in my life!! I started reading Psalms and what David went through when he felt hopeless and his enemies were around him and he cried out to God!! It got me through!! Still to this day I cling to Jesus!! The bible said Jesus was the comforter!! I stood up to my dad and he backed down!!! I was going to church that night come hell or high water and he knew that!!! It seemed I even earned a little of his respect for standing up to him. Later on in life me and my dad made peace with each other and he apologized to me before he died. Believe it or not he became my best friend and biggest defender!! I miss those 2 am phone calls when I was down and depressed he always lifted me up. My advice is that you don't need to tell them anything or preach to them. Let them see the love of God through your actions. The bible said " you will know them by their fruits (talking about their actions). Let them see how happy you are and how changed you are!! Believe me you don't have to tell them anything!! Christ's love will radiate off you and they will start asking you questions about why you changed and then you can explain to them about the love of Christ! Your actions will speak way louder than anything else!! I will be praying for you and your family!! Stay strong and let the love of Christ comfort and give you strength! Sorry this was so long!! The only one I can actually depend on is God himself since I'm an outcast of the house . My parents think I'm crazy and creepy , because I talk about how beautiful and amazing God is in different ways .

I got into a fight and ended up in jail for 24 hours...well I used to sing gospel music in church, but had lost my way, but when the chips were down ...I was in a very small cell and just noticed that the acoustics were amazing in this cell all by myself, so God definitely was my comfortorter that 24 hours and he laid this song on my heart! Not knowing ANYONE was even aware of my presence, I began to sing it!! Like I said the acoustics were amazing, so I began to praise and worship as I sang..I felt the holy spirit all over me..soon an officer knocked on my cell door and opened up the very small talking window and he informed me that my voice with THAT song( well this song) was going up to the very top floors thru the ventilation system and some of the most hardened criminals were on their knees crying like small boys just hearing the music of the Lord!! At first, I apologized? But the officer STRESSED to me that no, no, no Michele we are asking you to continue please please please, because Apparently these men were some of the most aggressive men they had ever had and they couldn't figure out HOW to control their fighting!! But the LORD fell upon their weary ears and they became so passive that some fell to their knees crying out to God and some just fell ASLEEP!! On EVERY SINGLE floor!! So, even though I was in trouble myself...I knew who to call on..now I hope those men will remember who THEY can call on in times of trouble, AND times of JOY!! MICHELE BALL

My husband had a heart attack twice. The first one, no warning, they found 3 blockages. The morning of the surgery, 2 sparrows flew onto our window. I’ve lived in this apt for 25 years and this was the very first time this happened. That moment I knew my husband will be okay from a major surgery. God is amazing. One day, as I listened to this song I dropped my phone and the battery fell out; but the song kept playing. I'm not amazed at what God can do but this song has an anointing power all over it. Barbara---I've tried to change my outlook and yet nothing ever changes. He wasn't there when I was born and my own mother chose to throw me away. He wasn't there when I was 6 and my adopted father did unspeakable things to me. He wasn't there when I begged and pleaded for him to be there as my dad beat me as a child either. He wasn't there when I was attacked and raped 9 years ago. Even then I called out to him and got nothing. So you go ahead and pray to him. I guess I pissed him off somewhere between conception and birth because I don't remember him once ever being there for me.

I'm 19 i i cannot listen to this song without tears in my heart my mom went to meet the Lord on the 21st of January 2020 and in the midst of it i am hurting but grateful to God that she is OK now she suffered with 100% kidney failure, her body swollen to capacity, in tremendous pain everyday, in and out of the hospital this has been going on for years, yet through it all she praise God like never before in ways that we who are OK don't and that is sad, down to her last day even last breathe was praise God, She couldn't walk anymore, stand for to long she had trouble to use the washroom and bathe but inspite of it all she praised God and never once told us how much pain she went through we only found out when she passed, a doctor told us but because of her faith that i say down to the last and all my life trying her best to keep me in Christ i do not hate the Lord for taking her because now she can sing and dance and walk and run and no more pain no more tears so i love the Lord with all my heart for healing her by keeping her with him to be safe and free from this worlds troubles for all eternity. now me ,my 20 and 4 year old sisters my 18 year old brother and my dad has to live for the Lord till that day we see him and see her again

keep your head up , you gotta go to bad time to see brighter days. Don't ever lose your faith in him, he will always make a way . the best thing to do is stay prayed up and set goals and work to accomplish them.

The first time I ever stood up to my dad ever in life was because he told me I couldn't go to church!!! Believe me this was a very big thing in my house because my dad had no problem knocking the crap out of you if you ever talked back to him or just even annoyed him. But I had to go!! I'm sitting here crying writing this because it's still so painful to remember!! Jesus was the only hope I had ( living in such an abusive home). I had tried to take my life at 16 and ended up in the hospital for several days and then in an outpatient program. Jesus saved my life!! When I had no one else and no hope I reached out to Jesus!! He brought me more peace and comfort and understanding than I have ever known in my life!! I started reading Psalms and what David went through when he felt hopeless and his enemies were around him and he cried out to God!! It got me through!! Still to this day I cling to Jesus!! The bible said Jesus was the comforter!! I stood up to my dad and he backed down!!! I was going to church that night come hell or high water and he knew that!!! It seemed I even earned a little of his respect for standing up to him. Later on in life me and my dad made peace with each other and he apologized to me before he died. Believe it or not he became my best friend and biggest defender!! I miss those 2 am phone calls when I was down and depressed he always lifted me up. My advice is that you don't need to tell them anything or preach to them. Let them see the love of God through your actions. The bible said " you will know them by their fruits (talking about their actions). Let them see how happy you are and how changed you are!! Believe me you don't have to tell them anything!! Christ's love will radiate off you and they will start asking you questions about why you changed and then you can explain to them about the love of Christ! Your actions will speak way louder than anything else!! I will be praying for you and your family!! Stay strong and let the love of Christ comfort and give you strength! Sorry this was so long!! Choose to create, love, serve, do good to ourselves and others. Or serve self, try to seek happiness/contentment in this world , do harm. God is an amazing discovery and it’s all a journey . Be daring . Asking God to reveal himself and be open always to discovery . =)

My grandmother was a paid soloist in churches back in the 1920's, and this was her favorite song...it has brought me great comfort as well.
