This should be BBW's final season. The saddest fact about this show and the ladies on it , these grown woman have children who are 10 or older. These kids are absorbing all of their parents knowledge, habits, lifestyles and beliefs. These ladies are then sending their children out into the world with money, privilege, and a remedial sense of self awareness, racism, colorists, prejudice, and bigotry. I call it remedial because NONE of those ladies posses the knowledge to know racism, bigotry colorism, and prejudice are FOUR TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS! it was so cringy hearing Kristen talk to OG and she continue to call “colorism” racism. They are two totally different things! No one is calling those ladies racist! They don’t have the power to oppress a whole group of people, but they do have the power (based on the color of their skin and features) to hold themselves higher than than people with a darker skin tone, lacking European features, and the ability to be considered “safe and acceptable “ based on said skin tone and features. I agree with your review about the colorist. Another point I heard Shaunie say I am paraphrasing the comments that OG made about the colorist. That can hurt a person career. It is so colorist as someone with a Jamaican mother and a paternal light skin grandmother from Mississippi, I know for sure EVERY kind of Black person from the diaspora know what colorism and featurism is- maybe not in those specific terms, but the very definitions. I know the "privilege" I have for being a "safe/acceptable" brown skin tone, with "soft" auburn brown 3C hair, and less pronounced features. I have experienced eroticism when men find out half of my heritage is Jamaican, after they keep hounding about if I am mixed, even without a lighter skin tone- mostly Black men do this. We all know that without money Shaq would not have the "social capital" to partner with Shaunie. I grew up in the south and there is no way on God's green earth Kristen hasn't not noticed the discrimination for her darker skin tone being offset by her features. She did an interview after last year's reunion talking about being the only Black girl in some setting and hearing she's pretty for a dark skin girl. Evelyn went after Cece so crazy, because she was a threat to Evelyn's "exotic factor" on the show that allowed for her to behave the way she has all these years. She knows the kind of men she is going after would pick Cece over her, when it comes between those two.

This should be BBW's final season. With the exception of O.G., all these women are middle-aged/approaching middle-aged mean girls (Jackie is an elderly one)...and despite "Afro-Latina" Evelyn being baptized in holy water, she's still just as vulgar, subtly colorist, and play the victim narcissistic as she was when she was a Gringa Latina in Miami (oh wait she still is) 🙄😂
The saddest fact about this show and the ladies on it , these grown woman have children who are 10 or older. These kids are absorbing all of their parents knowledge, habits, lifestyles and beliefs. These ladies are then sending their children out into the world with money, privilege, and a remedial sense of self awareness, racism, colorists, prejudice, and bigotry.
I call it remedial because NONE of those ladies posses the knowledge to know racism, bigotry colorism, and prejudice are FOUR TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS!

They are two totally different things! No one is calling those ladies racist! They don’t have the power to oppress a whole group of people, but they do have the power (based on the color of their skin and features) to hold themselves higher than than people with a darker skin tone, lacking European features, and the ability to be considered “safe and acceptable “ based on said skin tone and features.
Their entire way of parenting is a contradiction, and it’s f’n their kids up.
Like, Malaysia had this whole conversation with her kids about cops targeting black and brown people. That was great. They needed that knowledge, but then for you to get on tv and continue to mistake colorism for racism, and use that to ignore what og has experienced is down right IGNORANT as hell! Because you are basically teaching your kids, you can’t be colorist because you aren’t a white cop killing black people!!’

Kristen is from New Orleans one of the most colorist cities in North America...girl stop it🤚🏿If you ask me Kristen came over there to collect intel for Evelyn's lawsuit... OG is smart though cause she got a recording (people are saying its her phone but it actually looks like something from production) of that entire conversation and Kristen kept trying to bait OG after several attempts of bringing up the colorist thing. She came over there trying to exonerate herself and if she got something she could use against OG she would...but she didn't realize OG was on to her game.
I agree with your review about the colorist. Another point I heard Shaunie say I am paraphrasing the comments that OG made about the colorist. That can hurt a person career. My point is they really do not want to agree with OG because Shaunie them is afraid of loosing their carreer and endorsements etc. I believe that is the only reason they are downplaying OG claims they are afraid to loose some coins. Evelyn has already lost endorsements.
The sad part about their lens to OG claims is they flow in ignorance.The fact that Evelyn with those fake tears stating I have black children Like what does that suppose to mean.That is like a racist saying I have black friend.It does mean anything about being a token. All of those things still can exist and people can be racist or colorist. The point is it is internal feeling not external feelings..It is how your treat that person that what tells the story.

Another point Jackie proved OG qpoint . When Jen said people get treated different than Evelyn they do not get called names. Jackie proved OG points without realizing it. She said I have been called names etc. Jackie you are a darker complexion that is OG point Evelyn with the light skin have never been called agressive etc. Shaunie can put on favoritism all she want that do not mean anything.
Not only are they colorist, but they’re also xenophobic. OG did an interview during last season and said they said some distasteful things to her regarding her being Nigerian and they cut most of it out the show.
There is definitely a lot of colorism in the black community especially in the African/ Caribbean community. That’s why so many of them promote skin bleaching, because the lighter you are makes you better than the rest.

It is so colorist as someone with a Jamaican mother and a paternal light skin grandmother from Mississippi, I know for sure EVERY kind of Black person from the diaspora know what colorism and featurism is- maybe not in those specific terms, but the very definitions. I know the "privilege" I have for being a "safe/acceptable" brown skin tone, with "soft" auburn brown 3C hair, and less pronounced features. I have experienced eroticism when men find out half of my heritage is Jamaican, after they keep hounding about if I am mixed, even without a lighter skin tone- mostly Black men do this. We all know that without money Shaq would not have the "social capital" to partner with Shaunie. I grew up in the south and there is no way on God's green earth Kristen hasn't not noticed the discrimination for her darker skin tone being offset by her features. She did an interview after last year's reunion talking about being the only Black girl in some setting and hearing she's pretty for a dark skin girl. Evelyn went after Cece so crazy, because she was a threat to Evelyn's "exotic factor" on the show that allowed for her to behave the way she has all these years. She knows the kind of men she is going after would pick Cece over her, when it comes between those two.
