Can you imagine being in that church hundreds of years ago on a cold Winter night, nothing but candle light and hearing voices like that?
Watch "Schlafes Bruder" from 1995. It gives you goosebumps.
imagine being a knight on his knees, leaning on your sword with bowed head in that church... hearing that voice
CHILLS!!! 🥰
I can imagine it. It serves to make me even more certain, that I was born hundreds of years too late.
To escape from the truly dark quagmire into which today’s world has waded, to live in a much simpler time, would be my ultimate dream come true, second only to spending eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ.
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.
Amen ✝️
They love some good dramatic flair.
This is one of those very rare moments where the internet gives you something good in a day
It was my go you good thing go moment today :)
Well said, I am sick of the same shuffles etc from loads of people being shown on You Tube, Tik Tok etc. It makes my blood boil, then along come this Apparition and Angels singing.
Amazing,Thanks 😢❤🎉 Made my Day

You can see how cold and drafty the ancient building is by all the light showing around all the doors. And yet it is magnificently warmed by the glow of this beautiful young lady's angelic voice. You could tell by her sweet smile of pleasure how much she was pleased by the incredible experience of singing in such a place. ❤❤

Her voice is beautiful and so is this church.
Those old churches were built with such intentionality; the acoustics in them are beautifully haunting.
Remember the amazing singer🤔
too bad communism took over the western countries. But they will pay for it. God is mad. Trust me.
Perfect description
Absolutely. Now...imagine the craftsmanship required at the time the churches were built to make this possible. Both in planning and executing the construction.

The acoustics are perfect
Those old churches and Cathedrals were built to do that, they didn’t need microphones and electronic amplification. It’s so much more ethereal and a majestic sound. It really sounds like it’s the angels in heaven, at least what I imagine they will sound like. She has an incredible voice. Very uplifting thank you for showing us your marvelous experience. Our modern, plain churches built in recent times just can’t begin to give that same effect. I am so glad they preserve these old Cathedrals. They should last forever because they are made with the materials made by God like limestone and slate roofs. The stone masons did work really hard building these monuments to Almighty God, thank you sirs. They are long gone, let’s hope that helping to build a church helps get the deceased men into heaven where they hear the real angels.
This church really is amazing, but building a physical church will not save you, salvation is found through Jesus Christ himself.
Gratitude to past generations for building these beautiful churches
I know, right? I wish they still built churches like that.
Tears in my eye as i see this angle smile. According to the bible we walk past them & hardly ever notice all the time. Praise God 👏 🙌 👏 🙌 👏
Todays generation is lazy, greeedy, evil....
Seriously, no stages
Beautiful buildings don't get people saved or closer to Christ. Who knows what she is singing
The smile she had when she heard the first echoes tells me she knew how cool it was going to be. That makes me smile ever time. It's always awesome with her.
It actually *should* tell you that she (visibly) did *not* already know.
She's surprised.
By how good it sounds *in that church* (which is actually what the video is really about).
She's got a nice voice but not particularly spectacular or anything like that.
It's just a nice voice, greatly magnified by the amazing acoustics of the particular building.
Which is, by the way, what she was actually posting about.
Some people don't seem to have noticed that quite yet.
I'm actually pointing out the same points that the singer herself already pointed out.
The words on screen are quite small and it may be that many people *actually* just didn't notice or didn't understand what was meant.
@@KittyStarlight OMG why are you so miserable lol
You 2 just sound jealous.
Give praise and glory to God for such a beautiful song coming out from a beautiful voice..
@@jadedoe9966 And now you've completely missed *my* point.
I (very obviously) wasn't attacking people due to some unhappiness of my own, or indeed attacking anyone at all.
And I wasn't trying to be a downer, either.
I'm actually quite delighted with the video, the church, and the singer.
I think all are very nice.
That's in fact the main reason why I thought that the video was worth commenting on.
The girl herself is so obviously so delighted *with the church* and *not* with how splendid or magnificent or marvelous she thinks her own singing is.
She's also obviously pleasantly surprised (that it sounds that good in that particular location).
I would have felt the exact same in her place.
She also sings well, although not miraculously or amazingly or anything like that.
In fact I'm sure she sings better than I do. (Which is fine by me.)
I was referring to the unfortunate lack of knowledge of some of the posters here, which is certainly their problem, not mine.
I'm not "miserable" about any of it, but since you ask, I actually do think that it's quite unnecessary for adults to be that lacking in knowledge, particularly when the girl who posted the video *already told us* what, in her own view, the video was about.
It's about how amazing she thought that particular church was. *Not* how amazing she thought *she* was.
I actually think that she seems like a very nice girl and that her singing is very nice too.
I'm just sorry that so many people seem to have so utterly missed what the video was about.
I'm not "so miserable" and I didn't act as if I were.
But I certainly do find the lack of knowledge somewhat disappointing.
I hope that answers your question.
Utterly beautiful. Please continue to sing as the angels do.
I may not have cried like alot of you did but she soothed my soul and brought such a smile to my face. I was having a bad day and after watching this all of my conscience was cleared and immediately felt better. Thank you Jesus!❤️❤️✝️✝️

Edit: Alright, I didn't want to do this, but I've finally been pushed to it 72 replies later.
Watch yourselves, it's a toxic quagmire down there.
For those of you who just tryna start somethin', **coughaithiests&muslimscough** and picked a person who, in a fit of joy, posted an honest expression of Child-Like Wonder and Hope, which hadn't happened in quite a long time bc real life and the tragedy in the world is a bugger, *Move Right Along.*
I honestly don't have time for you today.
That's why there are some comments, several actually, that I could give a reply to but haven't, because:
1.) It's obvious some people just came here to pick a fight, and well, maybe this ship has already sailed but, I'd rather not have to watch/participate in Comment World War III going down, because that's fighting fire with gasoline. 🤦♂️🤦♀️
2.) I have I life. 😑 I don't have to spend it trying to change the opinions of people whose Minds are set, and Hearts are clearly made in Stone. I could Reply all I want, you would not even be *willing* to listen. (And this is a COMMENT SECTION on The INTERNET. Do y'all truly expect to chance life-long opinions of people whom hold no connection nor obligation to you?)
It doesn't mean I don't care about you or love you, or mourn your pain with you, or have just as many questions as you do. I just know how to choose my battles. (Do you?)
And 3.) Do y'all honestly expect me to always have a proper answer for everyone? News Flash: I don't. Because this is a Journey. The Destination is important, but so is the path it takes to get you there. It's continuous. Our minds were designed to be curious, to ponder, to mull over things, sometimes repeatedly, to find the correct answer. And we were given 8 billion other people to test the truth of those answers against. And to still come to one ultimate conclusion, in the face of all that.
I've chosen a very narrow road to walk on this Journey. One that is pretty treacherous, if I were honest. The proof lies in those of you taking shots, intentional and non.
I stand by what I said. I stand beside my God, my Father, my Lord Jesus, who's given me a Joy that flies in the face of and baffles the world, and a Gentleness of Heart to withstand it, that I likely wouldn't've had naturally.
Many of you will wonder how I'm capable of believing in Jesus on such a thin line of reasoning. To which I answer . . . . simply Faith.
Because "Faith is the substance of all things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1.)
It wasn't designed to make sense to someone Hard of Heart, and perhaps most especially, Hard of Head. 😋😜 🪖🔨
But that's enough out of me.
Y'all in the Replies can rest easy knowing your opinion has been thoroughly noted.
And you guys are exhausting. Congratulations.
God alone is the one who can tell if this is authentic worship or not. We can't make that call just because she's singing a Christian hymn, singing it beautifully and singing it in a church.
Oh, please! Allow someone to have a heart-felt opinion, which isn't subjected to a demons opinion!
Selah
She clearly has the Lord, Jesus in her heart. You can hear and feel it in her voice. For those with eyes to see 🙏 💯
@@DG-mv6zw That is true. And it is important to Guard your Heart.
But bro, or sis, it's also vital to make sure your Heart isn't being made of Stone. To work to keep it Tender, even in little ways. To say, "Hello my Old Heart, How Have You Been?"
(Yes, I am absolutely quoting The Oh Hellos song.)
You may already do this, so if I'm telling you something you already know, sorry; it's hard to tell anybody's backstory on the internet. God Bless, friend. 🙏💙🤗🐺🌺💙
This reminds me of a school trip to Rome where four of us would sing gospels in every church we visited. Fun times.
It's like the building is singing with her. Beautiful.
I love this perception. And indeed it is.
Beautiful comment.
Well. The church sings with her. In my home town we have a cathedral with this kind of acoustics. It just is a huge gothic building. This one is far smaller, and still you can hear the voice sailing across the space. But singing alone in this kind of acoustics is greater than I can describe. I have had that possibility only once. I have also played electric guitar in that cathedral. Even low volume, it was quite useless job for acoustical reasons. These churches were made to turn human voice celestial, and they are very sensitive to excessive noise. Even the key in which you sing matters.
This is the beauty of traditional churches. Every part of them was designed to give greater glory to The Almighty. ❤️
Lol well the walls are actually helping her with the overall echo effect ♥️

The dome made her voice echo back as background. It’s like angels singing with her. It’s beautiful.! ❤
I was experimenting with fringe acoustics years ago and played a 440Hz tone simultaneously with a Mozart movement (I don’t recall which one). I walked to the other end of the house, and my dad asked me where the “angelic voices” were coming from. I stood there for a bit, and sure enough, the combination of all those tones sounded like a chorus of angels were singing along!
She sings like an angel, indeed!!! ❤❤❤

you don't need to be a medieval-age catholic to enjoy this kind of music .... it speaks to your soul even if you had none.
Edit:
1- I am not a Catholic.
2- thanks for the many likes.
I agree. I’m an atheist, and on a monthlong journey through Europe, I fell in love with the power of churches. Still don’t believe in deities, though.
you need just to be Traditional!!!
@@audistik1199 Dieties fail to exist, only power is real, and if you only knew how to summon the power that exists within you, you would know what true power is! It is a shame of humanity that we are deprived of such knowledge though it does exist, but you would have to understand what true love is in order to know how to manifest it within you! And just so you know, I was a firm believer in atheism too until I finally answered one question that helped answer other questions. That one question was, when is it enough?
Quite.... in the old days you can see how people were awed into believing.... it's all such a lovely idea (if we are prepared to overlook a lot of it) and all such a load of old superstition! Plays right into that "spooky" part of the brain but credit where credit is due - hats off to the Church for keeping a set of dusty, mysterious and prophetic Middle Eastern legends alive for two millennia and that its 2000 year old business seems like it'll go for another 2k which is no mean feat!
@@MasterJamz6 Not quite sure what you are saying as later on, it could be interpreted you are now a theist (ie you believe in one or more gods) yet you open by stating unmistakably that deities (which is actually how the word is spelt) fail to exist (ie that there are no gods). Moreover, you more or less correctly say that power exists - strictly speaking, the word should be energy - power is simply the rate of energy consumption or generation: power is measures in watts and energy in joules and one watt equals one joule per second. So if you're happy energy and matter exists, why does it need a god or gods to explain?
Obviously, I'm slightly demolishing your woolly and muddled statement because it seems clear that you are saying you have had a Damascene conversion but, like all deluded people who suddenly (or slowly) somehow get to feel they've "seen the light" the very confused and conflicting nature of what was written (irrespective of the intentions) only further illuminates the total lack of any real insights, evidence, logic or clarity of thought on the topic. I have no trouble intrinsically sensing the awesome size, tremendous age, majesty and mind blowing phenomena which are out there - all produced by the complex interaction and interplay of the 92 naturally occurring elements with quite a small number of forces - which comparatively small set of basics nevertheless producing the huge array of entities observed and as yet hidden, both understood and currently mysterious. And it both depresses and bores me that people still need to claim to a bunch of complete strangers that they have now had the veil lifted. Why can't people just accept that the reason we have, for want of a better description, a "sixth sense" is entirely evolutionary and does not need some ancient Jewish, Christian or Islamic or any other hokus pokus to explain it, in the way that one can understand people reached for in less enlightened times. It's just lazy, clichéd and unimaginative.....with more than a hint of ghost story/gullible belief in old superstitions.....

Judy Collins did this in the late 60's. Different song.
This is far more than a building! It is a beautifully designed, using sacred geometry, Catholic Church. That is why it has perfect accoustics.
@@soniaperez2417 I am aware that it's a Catholic church, I am also aware that a more or less a copy of the Pantheon in Rome it is a perfectly round dome roof structure made out of stone. Which is why it has perfect acoustics. I meant no disrespect by calling it a building. Is it not a building because is a Catholic church or is it not a building because it was built in the 1800?

Echo echo
@@sigridandersen9223 Then you just dont know about the historical meaning of gregoric and a-capella music. Incredible.. I couldn't find the words to describe how her beautiful, angelic voice in this church made me feel until I read this comment. This is a perfect example of music speaking to the soul. The connection is transcendent. I listened to it with earbuds, on loop, at least 100 times.. it nearly put me in a trance-like state.. just.. WOW.
Not a secret, and not lost. Churches predating electronic speaker technology were built with acoustics in mind, since the voice of the person at the pulpit had to reach everyone inside without the assistance of boosting equipment.
The reflection of her vocal frequency with the brass within the church is enchanting. If i could look upon Gods face, id almost guarantee He would be smiling at her praising voice.
The lord has kept that beautiful building intact. Through rain and shine, through war and peace, through light and darkness… I believe the fact that she is able to go and sing in that old church is a testament to that.
My tears started falling after the first verse. It did get me. No wonder you will keep this moment forever. She LOOKS at her echo and smiles.
Yes!!! 😊
Me too!
Saint Hildegarda composition mist probably
It really takes you elsewhere. And the idea behind the way cathedrals were built and churches during this time was to take us into the dive and a tribute to The Almighty Himself. Many workers who began construction of such places never saw it finished. That wasn't the point. Eternity was.
Me too
That is incredible. The acoustics give the illusion there are others singing with her. That building is made to sing in. And she sings beautifully. Wow. Thank you for the privilege of listening to that.
there are others singing with her in the next realm...
Gave me chills
All large buildings with hard surfaces have long reverb times. It actually limits the type of music that can be played or sung.
Angels singing.
@@farrellmase Absolutely true!!! ❤
It's lovely to hear something uplifting instead of all the judgement and hate online. Beautiful. ❤
Angels in heaven hear you! dear child.
This is beautiful and takes me back to my childhood. I was about 11 or 12 and my Vacation Bible School took a trip around my State visiting other Churches. We visited a huge beautiful Catholic Church in Atlanta and I had wandered away up into the balcony with a couple of other girls and the urge hit me to sing.. there was no one else in the Church to my knowledge except for my group. I sang Ave Maria and the echo was beautiful. We were approached as we were coming back down by one of the Priests who asked if it was one of us who had sang. My friends both pointed me out as I stood red faced. He complemented me and told me to come back anytime. I have never forgotten it.
Its a beautiful memory god bless in jesus name
That place was built to capture such sweet song with perfect acoustics. Beautiful.
Please sing this song in it's entirety IN This CHURCH. IT'S SO POWERFUL. TY
I've watched this many times. It brings peace and comfort to my soul. 🙏❤️🙏
I think that's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard ..its not an echo , its angels singing along.
Heavenly Bells will ring upon His Return !!!

@@keirancollier8836 if you don’t think the Holy Spirit is involved in this Angelic moment then you should educate yourself. If you don’t believe, then why say anything at all. I think we can all agree it’s beautiful. A beautiful moment in a beautiful place shared with all of us beautiful people.
@kevvcop lol , look at that. Typical. Call me names and make yourself feel big and bad. I’m sure you need it MUCH more than I do. Have a great day.
Very nice to hear that lady singing 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💯🙏🙏🙏💞💕❣️
You were harmonizing with yourself, in real time, which is wild.
That song choice was just…*chef’s kiss*
We lived in Germany for a time and one of my favorite memories is sining O come O come Emmanuel in our village cathedral with my friends. Sounds so amazing with the haunting melody. And please come, Emmanuel!
Amen!!!
We await You, Lord.
I forgot how simple things could bring serenity, joy and love.
There is nothing like it. My college choir did a tour in Ireland and we sang in churches/cathedral all throughout Ireland. So many of our performances moved me to tears because of the acoustics and just the fact that we were in churches older than my country. ❤
🙏💕💪✌️🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🏜️
No offence, but your country is incredibly young 😉 most European cities have stuff older than USA. They say that difference between USA and Europe is that in Europe we think that 100 kilometers is far, and in USA you think that 100 years is old.
Sounds like an amazing experience something about the vibe from buildings that old
different level shivers
❤God Almighty be glorified in this spiritual voice this women.. Amen
Astonishing, every note of her song is sustained for 5 seconds. Really didn’t know this kind of natural acoustic resonance existed. I love being astonished. Thank you so very much.
so true 💖🎶🕊️
choir would be on point ☝️ with her lead...✌️🙏👍💪☯️
Umm man-made churches DESIGNED AND ENGINEERED ....that's architecture 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
No it's not
...the lyrics please...
It even sounds like the Angels are singing with her, So beautiful!
what a beautiful, angelic voice ❤thankyou for sharing
Yes
Pure acoustic. No mixing with technology there! Amazing and beautiful!
In a sense this was peak "technology" for the time, from the choice of volumes and areas to the types of materials used.
It is still the peak of high tech. ❤
Listen Harpa Dei
Extraordinary!! 🕊☘️🕯🌹💒🎶💚
So much better than technology
❤ beautiful a angel singing a very special tune, we need that message even more today with the wars going on today .
I remember being on a tour of Ludwigsburg palace (outside Stuttgart) a few years ago. And one of the young guys on the tour asked the tour guide did they mind if he sang a few lines of a hymn when we were in the Royal Chapel. Its was magic.
Absolutely angelic. Her singing gives me chills. Between her voice and the acoustics, plus the rainbow light shining on her from the stained glass window makes the whole experience heavenly. ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼
A sight & sound to relish always. Alleluia to our coming King
Well said!
She does sound angelic. Like a medieval singer.
Just beautiful , almost like hearing heaven……
Yes Yes Yes
With the world in the shape it is today, this makes me feel very emotional.
Definitely made me tear up
That's the holy spirit touching you sister 😌 be blessed ✝️❤️
Gos is calling you! Hey stranger, I don’t know you and you don’t know me, but one thing I know I want you to know. Please read this, it’s important. This is it: you are going to die. Ok, maybe you knew that. But do you acknowledge that wether if you believe or not, one day God is going to judge you? And me? And everyone else? If you are atheist and you don’t believe in God it doesn’t mean He doesn’t exist. However I want you to know that even when you might mock Jesus, and hate Him or similar stuff. Jesus is the only way to have true peace in your life, soul and heart but most importantly …Jesus is the only way to be saved, to be forgiven by God. You might think you don’t care about wether if God forgives you or not, but truly, one day you will. My message it’s written with love and not condemnation, the same way God is not angry and wanting to judge you, but rathe He wants you be saved. He want you to be healed and walking with purpose. God never wanted something bad for you, but your own decision have a consequence. You cannot walk towards darkness and expect to have light around you that can help you not to fall. Jesus died for your sins, so you can repent and be saved. Not for you to be perfect and then, repent. We have all failed God. But that doesn’t mean it’s the end. There is hope, and there is true peace, there is happiness and purpose that will last always in Jesus. This world can give temporary things, but will leave you empty. Jesus wants to give you eternal things, and make you whole through Him. He loves you. He is waiting for you. Please turn to Him. I’m sorry for people and situations that have shut u down and hurt you.
Opens your heart...
Hi there! Jesus says to you today: "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." -Matthew 11:28
May God bless you! 😊
When you sing with pure purpose and Joy. Love the smile breaking though. Lovely voice!❤
Praise the Lord. Amen 🙏🙏
You can hear the angels praising along with her❤🙏
It's exactly the words I was looking for....
Thank you for this beautiful sing, which will give to listeners a wonderful day, and help us to feel love of our Lord
