Honestly this looks sick, zero build is perfect for First Person, also a lot of creative maps ranging from combat to horror will be perfect with First Person. This has got to be one of the best updates.
It's a very good preview of what first person will be like. We're getting closer and closer to getting it which makes me really hyped!

Trust me it’s so much better on creative mode you don’t just lose your spine you lose the whole back with certain guns (I recommend not touching any scoped weapons and test out the combat shotgun, drum gun and the ray gun)

It would probably only be used in the Zero Build mode...which makes sense.
@@TheShaneCarter yeah it works in creative i tried building its horrendous, theres no depth perception so edits are impossible and also placing builds its hard because you cant differentiate the tiles. it would have to old be in no builds or they would put you in third person when ur building

In creative I was experimenting with all guns/consumables and what I believe is that the first person mode only works on certain MODELS not the actual weapons. What I mean is that the newer epic and legendary assault rifle use the same model as the older assault rife and they both have “full” first person. The other weapons that work are the combat shotgun & smg, drum guns, and the flashlight pistol. Some weapons for ex. the scar model) have first person if you aim. I think all the smgs work but only while aiming just like most pistols. I also found only 2 models that work as “full” first person but are broken, they are the legendary pump model and bandage bazooka.

Shadow Tracker works better than anything else. It stays in first person most of the time, even without ADS but impossible to tell if someone is behind you.

I remember playing STW afew months ago and discovering the first person mode setting and i was honestly surprised since i never knew it existed, although it's kinda sloppy tbh, so they would need to tidy it up if it comes to BR
It works really well with the default ar not scar, combat shotgun, flashlight pistol and combat smg. It also works in creative mode

it only works well with some guns but if you go in creative and use the standard ar it works like almost perfectly even while not aiming
Hey Tabor! I recently found something about piccolo from dragon ball!if you do the it's a wash emote with the cape on he will actually take the cape off and piccolo will be in the bath with no cape!just telling you maybe you can make a video about this

The pistol and shotgun ADS, as you showed in the final minute, might be an improvement, tbh.
The first person glitch gets messed up when you use scoped weapons so avoid those when trying it out. Can’t wait for first person!

Tabor did you try the little doom Slayer emote in the first person like they had it in the Ch4 trailer? Side note I'm not convinced it's a full first person mode and might be a new way to ADS that there trying out
I personally wish they’d focus on different things over a first person mode. That’s just another thing like zero build that strips away some of Fortnite’s identity. I’m not talking smack about people who like those things or whatever but there’s a a lot of stuff that needs work this chapter specifically with the amount of issues nonstop that I feel like first person should be there last priority.

I think the first person feature is coming next season as a permanent feature instead of an ltm
And the guns that use first person now can be used next season, so the scar, machine pistol, suppressed pistol, bows etc
Would be a reason why some guns don’t work and they are working on the others

It's definitely gonna be permanent. They don't put this much work into something for it to just be limited time. I think they've been working on it since Chapter 2
The reason it takes so long is because epic has to render each gun and item in first person, and would have to redesign some weapons for it to look good and work properly. Just a guess.

Hi tabor so in my oathbound quests scan a player and collect their schematic it won't let me scan at that direct location
I hope they add an FOV slider and btw the combat shotgun is the only br weapon that has first person even if ur not aiming.

I think the zoom only works on guns from save the world because the scar is zoomed in and machine pistol and there both in save the world

If you equip the ageless skin and do either The Dance Laroi emote or the Stay Afloat emote his sword will glitch out
i think it might only work with guns models tha tare in save the world like the scar and machine pistol the other gun models arent in save the worlds since they are new to this season but the bow machine pistol and scar have all been in the game before,.
The blue assault rifle looks really good you should rest it and the exotic silenced pistol

Does it turn you character invisible to other people or just you?
In this glitch the combat shotgun automatically puts you in first person without ads'ing and when you ads with a gun that goes first person, if you switch to your pickaxe while your still ads'ing your character gets disembodied
Cool part of first person camera is when you ride a wolf or a boar your skin becomes invisible & it looks like your controlling the wolf or boar
I can tell 1st person is going to be really fun!
I hoarsely think first person can be the new big feature for next season as this has good work on it done now also that this isn’t a leak but an option in setting causing a bug
I havn't tried it in save the world yet but I would imagine it would be more polished in save the world than br lol and those ironsights were so bad... I can't even use smgs in third person mode yet alone first where you can't see anything that your shooting at

The glitched battle Royale first person somehow looks better than the save the world one, in save the world you can’t see what your holding, and it’s really weird, it’s like when you used the dmr and it went glitched except always.

For those of you that want to try out this glitch without going in a match, it also works in creative!
Here are some weapons that i recommend trying:
Combat shotgun - (Makes you go in a perfect first-person mode)
OG assult rifle - (Same as combat shotgun)
Six shooter - (Classic Doom mode if you aim in)
What I want more than first person mode is attachments that you put on at very stations you would find attachments throughout the match
For me I don't particularly care if I see my skin or not as someone who has played TF2 since 2008 I'm use to not seeing my character and the unusuals/cosmetics attached to it but everyone else can see my sweat and that's all that matters. Plus if you really want to see your character emotes will allow that once again similar to TF2 with it's taunts

Not sure if you’ll read this but the regular assault rifle from chapter 1 works almost perfectly in creative.

It’s a prototype. You can get full first person mode on creative mode, then equipping legendary AR. Which is the first one you see.
